Gerald Crawford, The Invisible Rich Man
Chapter 1920

Chapters 1920.

After the men were lost from sight, Rey then turned to look at Gerald as he asked, Rey said,

"So.how now, Mr. Crawford.?"

"Well, we've got what we want so let's go back to the village. As for Tye and her men. I have a pretty good feeling that even if they manage to find the tomb, they won't come out alive!"

Answer Gerald who was not interested in the coffin.

Gerald had made that bold claim for a reason. After thoroughly investigating the room, Gerald had gathered that there were some hidden traps inside the tomb.

Moreover, most of the traps seemed to be activated by touching the various parts of the golden coffin.

With that in mind, if Tye and her men insisted on opening the coffin, they would definitely trigger one or ten death traps, dying in the process.

Whatever the case may be, Gerald and Rey then begin to return to Moonbeam Village. However, once they reached the entrance of the village, the two froze in their tracks.

Tied to one of the stone pillars of the village entrance, was Stanton's corpse.! As if that was not yet terrifying enough, from where they stood, the two of them could already see many corpses scattered everywhere.!

Rey was the first to break the silence as she angrily growled,

"...Whom. Who can do this.?! What the hell is going on here?!"

"...It must be Tye and his men. That's. Those whores aren't as human as animals."

Gerald replied, clenching his teeth as he tried his hardest to remain calm.

From what Gerald can guess, Tye must have killed all the villagers to find him and Rey! Only a savage beast like Tye could commit such a heinous act.

"....What should we do now, Mr Crawford?"

Upon hearing that, Gerald found himself momentarily at a loss for words.

After all, she and Rey are part of the reason why this tragic event happened in the first place, and knowing that it brought endless guilt to Gerald.

After thinking for a while, Gerald finally calmed himself down enough to say,

"...We're back in the cave. We need to avenge everyone here."

Rey naturally agrees to the plan, and the two quickly begin to retrace their steps.

As they continue to walk to the tomb, Gerald vows that he will make Tye and her men pay.

While Gerald had previously not cared much if the coffin trap killed that b*stard and his men, the current Gerald would not let that happen.

To avenge the villagers properly, he would personally finish them all off.!

After all, since they already knew where they were going, their journey back to the cave this time was much faster.

Moving back to Tye and his men, they had previously managed to enter the cave.

After playing around with the mechanism at the back of the door, they managed to find the same hole where Gerald and Rey had fallen.

"Score! I'm sure the tomb is down there! Men! Start down!"

Tye's orders as her men obediently begin to slide down the hole.
