About half an hour later, the people sent by the Supreme Council were seen rushing along with some bank staff, all visibly anxious.

Once inside, Gerald immediately opened the envelope, but instead of a message, the only thing inside was a pink hairpin.

"...Hm? Hairclips..?" Gerald murmured while raising his eyebrows slightly.

'This is the new one. Is there really a need to make a big change in the way you give clues?' Gerald thought to himself.

While two heads were definitely better than one, neither of them knew what the problem was with the hairpin. Therefore, the two finally gave up for a moment and decided to return to the office first.

Women will probably know more about hairpins than they do, and fortunately, they have Juno and Nory on their side.

With any luck, they will be able to decipher the message behind the hairpin. With that in mind, after returning to the firm, Gerald directly handed the hairpin to her before saying,

"Say, Juno, look at this hairpin. If I want to buy something similar, where can I get it?"

Taking a hairpin and frowning slightly, Juno then took it to the computer and quickly began to research it. Shortly after, he exclaimed,

"I understand! This is a special hairpin that is currently being distributed to all staff members of one of the banks! They were given in pairs!"

Hearing that, Ray was stunned for a moment. After gathering his thoughts, he then turned to face Gerald before saying,

"You know, the woman we saved earlier had the same hairpin! However, I'm pretty sure he only has one, which is why I assume this pin belongs to him! No wonder the hairpin feels so familiar when you first get it out of the letter!"

"What's? Are you really sure?" Ask Gerald.

"Positive!" Answer Ray.

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go to the hospital!"

Gerald said as he and Ray sped out of the office again, driving straight to the hospital...

While driving, Gerald - who now understands that the incident was too easy to resolve - was asked to say,

"The incident is far from over. Freeing the girl from the ATM is just the first step! With that in mind, we haven't gone through the crisis regarding the second hostage!"

Forget about the third hostage, they haven't even finished rescuing the second hostage yet! However, now that Gerald is convinced that the incident is not over, he knows that he must protect the second hostage at all costs.

"so. How cruel our opponents are.! To think that he would fool us like this!" Grunts Ray.

Either way, the two soon arrived at the hospital. After quickly inquiring about the woman, they realized that she had left the hospital not long ago!

Hearing that, Gerald and Ray run out of the hospital, hoping to catch up with the woman.

As they rushed out, fortunately the two stopped just in time to avoid being hit by the speeding black car!

"Where did you learn to drive, b*stard ?!"

Rey pouted while glaring while pointing at the black car.

Gerald, on the other hand, was much more interested in the purple letter that flew out of the car and was now lying on the ground. Quickly opening it, Gerald read the letter.

'The second game has officially started!'

"That's really b*stard...!"

Gerald growled as he squeezed the letter, knowing full well that he was a step too late.

Since the envelope came from that black car, the car was undoubtedly the key! Still, now was not the time to pity himself.

With that, Gerald started running towards their car while shouting,

"Hurry, Ray! We have to go after them!"

As soon as the two of them were inside, Gerald stepped on the accelerator, making the car crash forward! Since the black car was long gone, Gerald could only drive towards the direction he last saw the black car.

Unfortunately, though Gerald accelerated along the way, before long, he understood that he had lost the black car for good. Thinking the same thing, Ray was compelled to ask, saying,

"What should we do now, Mr. Crawford..?" None of them even knew how to proceed because the culprit was always one step ahead of them.

When Gerald wonders how to reply to Rey, his phone suddenly rings. Immediately knowing who the caller was, the enraged Gerald picked it up and roared,

"B*stard! What do you want? Are you playing with me?!"

Laughing maniacally, the caller then mocked, "Not so, calm down again, eh Mr Crawford? It's not your style to be this maniac!"

"Don't be so arrogant! I'll definitely catch you.!" Ejek Gerald's.

"Well! Be my guest! If you could! Anyway, let's meet at the Moon Observation Deck at seven tonight! If you don't come, well, this woman won't live much longer!" Shoot the man before hanging up the phone.

The Moon Observation Deck is an observation platform on the Leicom Continent that is only open at night. From up there, one could see the entire continent.

After all, since the perpetrator had made the promise there, Gerald was confident that something was bound to happen on the observation deck. Even so, what choice did he have other than to obey the bastard's orders.

With that, Gerald and Ray then went to the Moon Observation Deck. When they arrived it was still noon, their wait in the car did not feel long at all.

Shortly thereafter, the clock showed at seven and the Moon Observation Deck was opened to the public. With that in mind, it hardly took a few minutes for the entire place to be filled with people.

Everyone comes to enjoy the night view from the famous observation deck. Well, everything except Gerald and Ray. They are here to save someone.

Either way, now that the observation deck was finally open, the two got out of their car and immediately started looking for the woman...

Which made them anxious, no matter how much they looked, they could not find any trace of it!

"...Could that b*stard be messing with us again.?" Guess Ray with a slight frown on his face.

Upon hearing that, Gerald gave no response. However, it is not long before Gerald realizes the existence of a rather strange place. Pause for a moment, Gerald then said,

"..Come with me. I think I have a clue!"

With that, Ray started chasing after Gerald who had already run towards that place.
