Gerald Crawford, The Invisible Rich Man

Gerald Crawford, The Invisible Rich Man
Chapter 2041-2043

Chapter 2041.

"What?! Gerald's arrived in Japan?"

Will replied with a frown.

"Indeed. I saw him arrive at the pier with two other people! They are currently in a hotel in one of the coastal cities of Japan!"

Report the person on the other end of the phone.

"Squeaky. Why did he suddenly decide to go there.?"

Will muttered while pondering the situation.

"If possible, could it be that she came to Japan to find more helpers.?"

Answer the caller.

"That's a possibility, though his guess could also be wrong. In any case, keep an eye on him and don't let him know that he's being stalked. I want to know every move he makes, so don't you dare lose him or there will be consequences!"

Will replied before hanging up.

As he continues to sit in the living room, Will continues to wonder, why Gerald went to Japan. After all, according to the information he obtained through a thorough investigation, all of Gerald's main connections were in Weston.

As for any involvement Gerald had with forces outside Weston, the only thing Will could think of was Gerald's chaos reign in Yanam.

Other than destroying the three great families there, did Gerald really have any other involvement with forces outside of Weston?

In the end, Will doesn't understand why Gerald went there. With that in mind, Will knows that constantly monitoring Gerald is his best way to gain a better understanding of the young man's actions. If everything goes well, maybe he can finally kill Gerald.!

At that moment, a few taps rang out from his door, prompting Will to get up and open it. And to Will's surprise, it was Daryl! Supporting himself with a cane, Daryl smiled at Will before asking,

"Ah, here we go, Will! Have you heard about what happened on Gong Island...?"

"I've heard. Gerald took those people and ran, right?" answer Will.

"Indeed. Still, his strength had exceeded my expectations. Thinking that the two groups of people you sent failed to even scratch it. Anyhow, do you know where he went?"

Daryl asked while stroking his beard.

Upon hearing that, Will's legs trembled slightly as he said,

"I'm, I'm afraid I don't know."

Will is really nervous because Daryl should only know the first four people he sent to the island. After all, that's what he sent under Daryl's orders to test Gerald's powers.

Daryl shouldn't have known about the two confidants he secretly sent to kill Gerald.

Even so, after hearing Daryl's statement, Will knew without a doubt that the old man knew about his actions. Thinking back, did Daryl really come to interrogate or warn her aloud that night?

Seeing how nervous Will was, Daryl simply smiled as he patted Will on the shoulder as he said,

"No need to feel uncomfortable.."

While he was still dumbfounded, Will finally flinched before replying,

"I, I just did that to test Gerald's strength. To be honest, I didn't know Gerald was that strong. None of my confidants are capable of doing anything to challenge him. In fact, one of them ended up having a broken arm! Therefore, his cultivation would definitely be negatively affected from now on."

Waving his hand to signify that he didn't mind, Will then said,

"so... Anyway, again, do you know where he is now?"

"No. Ever since he left Gong Island, I lost all news about him.."

Will replied while shaking his head.

Will, for example, has kept his information network a secret so he's sure Daryl hasn't known it for years. With that in mind, there was no way he would tell Daryl about it right now.

Daryl muttered in a cold and firm voice.

Chapter 2043.

After hearing what Gerald said, Aiden's expression immediately stiffened before he replied, saying,

"But... We don't even know which area of Japan they are in! Aren't we basically just chasing wild geese?"

"Unfortunately, it is,"

Gerald replied with a sigh.

"After all, there's actually no rush. I'm sure we'll find the Seadom tribe sooner or later." Said Master Ghost.

"Indeed. By the way, what's with that special forces competition of yours? Let's start investigating from there. Better than staying locked up in this room."

Gerald asked as he looked at Aiden.

"Well, according to my squad leader, this is really just an ordinary competition that selects the most powerful people from each country's special forces to finally compete in Japan. Although this was not a standard competition, to be honest there was not much honor to be gained by participating. After all, this is an international competition, so it still needs to be emphasized." Obviously Aiden.

"so. Well, it wouldn't hurt to see it, would it?" Answer Gerald.

"Maybe it's also because we don't really know where to start. However, since it was held in Japan, I believe most of the participants will be influential and powerful. With that in mind, we might be able to get more clues about the Seadom tribe from them." Add Master Ghost.

"Then it's done, I guess! I'll call the organizer!"

Aiden said as he pulled out his phone to call. Although the call itself was short, Aiden managed to get the organizers to send a car to the hotel to pick them up. The organizers also don't seem to mind Gerald and Master Ghost coming along.

Either way, it was about half an hour later when some people from the Japanese military came to pick them up. After checking out, the three then headed to the competition venue.

The competition itself was not held at the Japanese military headquarters, but rather at the training ground. After arriving, however, the trio noticed that some houses were built with composite planks, a clear sign that it was a temporary structure for special forces to stay in.

It should also be noted that many people are already there. Apparently, although the competition is still half a month away, many participants come early to practice and familiarize themselves with the environment in hopes of contributing to victory.

After all, who wouldn't want to make their country proud?

After all, the person in charge finally stopped in front of one of the houses. Getting out of the car, he then pointed to the house while handing the key to Aiden before saying,

"That's the place. Since you are a special forces officer from Weston, you will stay here for now."

After receiving the key, Aiden inevitably widened his eyes. After all, if not for him being told that this was the training ground of the Japanese army, he would have definitely assumed that the entire area was just a construction zone!

With how seedy those houses were, it felt almost like they were about to collapse when a strong wind blew!

With that in mind, once the person in charge left the scene, Aiden turned to look at Gerald before apologetically saying, Aiden turned his head to look at Gerald,

"Had I known living conditions would be this bad here, we should have stayed in the hotel."

"Well, since we're already here, so just relax. After all, staying here for half a month won't kill us,"

Gerald replied while taking the key from Aiden and opening the door.

Even though the house was only meant to be lived in temporarily, it was by no means small. In total, there is a living room, three bedrooms, a bathroom, and a dining room.

Either way, after they finished unpacking, Gerald looked out the window to see what the situation was like outside.

Shortly after, Aiden entered Gerald's room before saying,

"It's almost noon, Gerald. Are you hungry? I'll ask for food, myself!"

"Please."

Gerald replied with a subtle smile.

As soon as Aiden left, Gerald took out a sea map from his pocket. As expected, the Island of Longing had disappeared from the map. In addition, the island where the Seadom Tribe held their sacrificial rituals is also not visible.
