Nodding slightly in response, Ray then replied,

"Very."

Now engulfed in darkness, the terrified Ray shouted,

"that's what I saw before! I'm sure it is."

As if to prove Ray's point, a pair of bead-red eyes gleamed in the darkness at that moment, and they stared right at Gerald and his group!

"What kind of creature is that.?!" Juno asked while furrowing her brows.

Watching Ray shake his head, clearly unsure of what it was, Gerald then ordered, saying,

"Whatever the problem is, disperse! Standing together will only make it easier to attack all of us at the same time! Also, get a flashlight in your bag, Juno! I have an idea!"

"Understand!" Answer Juno.

"For you, Ray! Find a place to hide while I handle this!" Added Gerald.

Gerald didn't have to say that twice. After all, Ray wouldn't live near that horrible thing! Moreover, he knew that he would only hinder Gerald if he remained here.

With that thought in mind, Ray then nodded vigorously as the three of them dispersed!

The red eyes themselves immediately began to dart towards Gerald! Realizing that the creature was very fast and was already close enough to him, Gerald managed to dodge his attack before shouting, and then he,

"When, Juno! Light this place up!"

Shouted Juno while shining a dazzling light towards those red eyes!

After that Juno threw another flashlight at Gerald - which he caught easily -, Gerald turned it on as well, and with two bright lights shining in his eyes, the three were finally able to see who their attacker was.

It was a boar! As if his tusks had yet to look frightening enough, his entire body was also lined with sharp thorns!

Gazing with wide-eyed eyes, none of them anticipated to meet a savage beast here!

After all, the three of them knew that the boar was extremely aggressive, and if anyone was hungry, it would attack anything it considered food. Apparently, they're on the menu.

Either way, they all gasped as the boar began to charge towards Juno almost madly! Seeing that, Gerald immediately shouted,

"Be careful, Juno! Turn off flashlight!"

"Put back down and let me handle it!"

Gerald added as he quickly turned to face the boar that was now charging towards him because Juno had turned off his flashlight.

Watching the sharp-tailed boar open its mouth wide - clearly aiming to prey on Gerald-, Gerald knew that a single bite from it could kill an ordinary person, or at the very least, injure them.

Naturally, with that in mind, Gerald wouldn't let a boar do that. By rolling to the side, Gerald then summoned the Astrabyss Sword.

Although the sword's primary purpose was to face ghosts, Gerald believed that it would still hurt as an ordinary weapon.

Regardless, even though the boar was clearly ferocious looking, its large body made it extremely slow and inflexible.
