With that said, Gerald then returned to his seat when the old couple and their daughter started setting up their stall again.

After Gerald sat down, Raine immediately said with sincere admiration, saying,

"You were great before, senior!"

Raine, for example, felt that not many people could beat so many people up alone and in such a short time, no less.

Laughing in response, Gerald simply replied in a humble tone,

"Oh, please, we should be thanking you! After all, we could get in serious trouble if you don't get in early!"

The old woman said as she waved her hand slightly before leaving Gerald and Raine to give them space to enjoy their meal.

As time went on, the two realized that more and more people were coming to eat at the old couple's stall.

It seems that the incident was really a positive turning point in the couple's business fortunes.

Anyway, it was about eleven p.m. when Gerald and Raine finally finished eating. With that, Gerald walked up to the old woman before asking,

"How much is that, boss?"

"...Huh huh? I told you, it's at home! Anyway, you helped us a lot tonight! There's no way I can take your money!"

Answer the old woman.

Even so, there was no way he could persuade Gerald to oppose him. After all, Gerald knew for sure that the family of three was not easy.

Smiling delighted at their response, the old woman then watched Gerald and Raine finally leave the area.

As she was about to return to work, the old woman couldn't help but notice that her daughter's eyes were fixed towards the departing duo.

Knowing the gaze of love was everywhere, the old woman was compelled to say,

"Don't tell me you have a crush on him, Yusra."

"What are you talking about, Mom.?"

Yusra muttered shyly. It was as if his mother was going to buy him a bluff!

Shaking her head, the woman then looked at her daughter before saying,

"I'm sure I don't need to remind you that your main focus right now is your studies. Even so, I'm not really against you having a relationship with someone else as long as your partner is nice to you."

Hearing that, Yusra simply nodded. He, for example, is well aware that he already has a crush on Gerald.

After all, contrary to all the other men he had met before, Gerald only let out a strong sense of security that made his heart calm.

To be honest, if there was a chance, Yusra really hoped to see Gerald again. He would be happy to only be able to talk to her one on one.

'I wonder if such an opportunity would truly present itself'.

Moving back to Gerald, after sending Raine back to his villa, he returns to his own villa. Since it was a bit late, both Natallie and Earla had already hit the hay.

With that in mind, Gerald picked up a bottle of wine and sat in the living room alone, sipping red wine late into the night.

Despite being the last to sleep, Gerald was the first to wake up. After sending Earla to school, Gerald then begins to leave for his group with Natallie.

As she drives, Natallie reports,

"Chairman Crawford, Chairman Kershaw of the Zachariah Group seems to be coming to our group today. Do you want to meet him?"

"Zachariah Group?"

Gerald asked while raising a little of his eyebrows.

"Indeed. She called me stating that she wanted to apologize personally to you, "Natalie explained.

Hearing that, Gerald recalled the events of the previous day. She remembers vividly how Zuri decided to mess with them at the amusement park, which eventually led to her divorcing Zachariah.

Whatever the case, since Zachariah wanted to apologize to him personally, Gerald thought it was because he really wanted to keep his group under his name.

With all that in mind, Gerald paused for a moment before finally saying,

"...Well, since he was sincere enough to come over to apologize, of course! I'll see him!"

Gerald is not an inconsiderate man. After all, he knew for sure that the events of yesterday had nothing to do with him. Zachariah's wife was a real troublemaker.

Understanding that, Gerald wouldn't make things difficult for the man. After all, it was about half an hour later when the two finally arrived the Yonjour Group building.

Before entering the building, the two were treated to a view of a black car parked near the entrance of the building. Of course, the car was none other than Zachariah's.

After realizing that Gerald and Natallie were here, Zachariah immediately got out of his car before respectfully greeting, saying hello,

"Chairman Crawford...!"

Smiling at the man, Gerald then replied in a joking tone,

"So we meet again, Chief Kershaw!"

Hearing that, Zachariah could only faintly blush in embarrassment.

After all, Zuri brought nothing but shame to him for his actions. Thank goodness she finally divorced him. He made sure to do it immediately as well.

After all, he wouldn't dare extend the divorce after promising Gerald-of-all-people to do it.

Shaking his head, Zachariah then looked at Gerald with determined eyes as he said,

"I'm really sorry for yesterday, Chairman Crawford! Just so you know, I've divorced Zuri, just like you told me!"
