Chapter 2054.

At this point, Gerald was one hundred percent convinced that the woman was someone from the tribe of Seadom. With that in mind, he needed to protect her at all costs. Although she did not know why Gerald wanted to help her from the start, she only agreed and stayed close to him.

After the cloud of dust finally subsided, the man slowly got up, clutching his wounded chest as he looked at Gerald in fear.

He was, for example, not an idiot, and he knew better than to fight someone so powerful inhumanely. Forget about failing to complete the mission his family had given him, there was a high chance he would die if he continued to fight!

With all that in mind, the man then quickly disappeared into the night.

Watching the man leave the scene, Gerald could not help but smile. After all, she was quite certain that she had now left a good first impression on him.

With that in mind, all he needed to do now was to slowly get to know him better, and with any luck, he would soon be able to ask about the Seadom tribe.

As he turned to face her, he made sure to peek at her pendant to see if she was really the person he was looking for. As soon as he confirmed it, Gerald scratched his cheek before looking to the side and asked, Gerald,

"Are you hurt.?"

"It's just some bruising. Nothing serious. Anyway, I don't think we've met before. Why are you suddenly helping me?"

Fujiko asked while looking at Gerald.

"I just enjoy playing white knight" replied Gerald.

".I'm seeing. Thank you." Thank you."

Fujiko said in a soft tone as her body started to sway.

Fortunately, Gerald caught him just in time before he fell. After calling out to him a few times and not getting an answer, Gerald raised a little of his eyebrows as he placed his finger right under his nose.

"Thank God, he was still breathing," and Gerald found himself sighing in relief.

Afterwards, Gerald took her back to the hotel. While he knew which floor he lived on, he had absolutely no idea what his room number was. Since he also could not bring her back to his room, in the end, Gerald decided to book a new room for her.

After placing her on the bed, Gerald could only sigh. He had only suffered a small bruise, but he had fainted like this, he must have received quite a bit of damage.

However, as there were no bloodstains on his body, he felt that his injuries were on the inside. However, to be sure of it, he first had to take off his clothes.

After that was done, he quickly covered her with a blanket before taking a cold shower to calm himself down. Fortunately, it seems to work. Now much calmer, Gerald sits on the couch and starts smoking while waiting for him to wake up.

A few hours later when Gerald suddenly heard a dragging sound coming from the bed. Turning around, he saw that the naked woman had finally woken up!

Immediately looking away, Gerald loudly explained,

"Before you say anything, you pass out there. Just so you know, I am proficient with medicine, and fearing that you could be seriously injured, I took the initiative to try to cure you. Thankfully, I think I managed to heal most of your wounds. Regardless, please put your clothes on first."

Flushed in response, Fujiko - who knew she wasn't lying because she felt much better now, - then answered, saying,

"Thank you.!"

To be honest, even if Gerald didn't say anything, he wouldn't be angry. After all, he had saved her twice tonight. She now sees Gerald as her benefactor, and she honestly doesn't mind if she asks him to be in a relationship with her.

Whatever the case, after realizing that his efforts were not misunderstood, Gerald was so pleased that he quickly waved his hand before saying, Gerald,

"Together."

"By the way, I still don't know what your name is. Also, you're not Japanese, are you.? I may be wrong, but can you be from Weston.?"

Fujiko asked as she looked at Gerald's back. Unknowingly, he had already started to develop feelings for her.

"Yes, I'm from Weston, and you can call me Gerald Crawford. I came to Japan to settle some affairs,"

Gerald replied in a relaxed tone.

"I see, I went with Futaba Fujiko, and I was part of the Japanese special forces. I'm here to participate in the special forces competition. Unfortunately, I somehow ended up being secretly attacked by an enemy of my family. If you hadn't interfered, I would've died there."

Obviously Fujiko while shaking his head. Even his family could not predict that their enemy would attack there.

To be honest, he was indeed thinking of defeating the enemy since the two of them were already there back then. But in the end, he was defeated. Thankfully, Gerald saved him in time.

After hearing the rustling of familiar clothes - and knowing that he was finally wearing his clothes - Gerald heaved a sigh of relief before replying, saying,

"Don't worry about that. I'm just glad you're cured now."
