Chapters 2010.
"It looks like Gerald is already acquainted with Yalinda and Levi, young master!"
Mumbled one of the men to the young man wearing luxurious clothes who was standing beside him.
The young man himself was none other than Clyde! He had felt extremely humiliated ever since Gerald dropped him in a single strike, and his hatred towards Gerald knew no bounds!
After all, he had never been humiliated before in his life, so he would have taught Gerald a lesson if it was the last thing he did!
"As if I care! Gather four great messengers! I want Gerald dead at the end of this! That way, he would no longer be able to enter the next competition!"
Ejek Clyde, sneered sinisterly as he looked at the man standing beside him.
"Understand me, young master!"
The man replied with a nod before quickly leaving the scene.
Naturally, Gerald and Yalinda had no idea what kind of danger they would soon face. After all, the three of them immediately arrived at a restaurant and sat down at a table.
After chatting while eating for a while, the three of them almost looked like old friends who had not met for a long time.
Funnily enough, even though Levi and Yalinda were from famous and prestigious families in Shontell, they had never contacted each other personally before.
Thinking that competition between cultivators would be the boost they needed to finally get to know each other.
Whatever the case, after eating for a while, Levi turned to look at Gerald before asking curiously,
"Pig-by the way... I wonder which sect you come from, Mr Crawford?"
Levi asked because he had never seen anything similar to the aura and movement that Gerald used in his fight with Clyde yesterday. With that in mind, he was pretty sure Gerald wasn't a local.
Chuckling in response, Gerald then replied in a somewhat embarrassed tone,
"You must forgive me, Mr. Homewood... My master forbids me from revealing his title and sect!"
While Levi was dumbfounded to hear it, he did not continue asking. Seeing that Levi was not urgent, Gerald himself took the opportunity to ask, saying,
"Actually, I have some questions of my own, if you don't mind me asking, Mr. Homewood."
"Oh? Continue on!" Answer Levi.
"Well, I heard your noble family made swords, right?"
"Indeed we did it! To be honest, almost everyone in Shontell - who is proficient in swordsmanship - uses the swords made by my family! Why that question? Could it be that you are also interested in making swords?"
Levi asked somewhat curiously.
Nodding with a small laugh, Gerald then timidly replied,
"You caught me with a red hand, Mr. Homewood! I was only interested because I had never seen how a sword was made before. Besides, I also want to have a weapon suitable for myself!"
Gerald wasn't kidding either. After all, if everything went smoothly, there was a chance that he could make Homewoods make weapons that were perfect for him. That way, he wouldn't need to fight others without weapons anymore.
"so. Well, since you are Miss Juan, I just need to give you a little respect! All right then! You can follow me to my family workshop after lunch! You can choose a sword that suits yourself then!"
Replied the wise Levi, without the slightest hesitation.
Hearing that, Gerald was immediately encouraged to say,
"Thank you, Young Master Homewood!"
To be honest, Gerald thought Levi would be a little more reluctant. After all, this was their first meeting. Turns out, Levi was a pretty generous person!
"You're too polite, brother Crawford! However, instead, I have one small request that I hope you can fulfill!"
Answer Levi.
"Say, Young Master Homewood!"
"Basically, I hope you won't go easy on me if we end up having to duel in the competition!"
"Agreed!"
Gerald replied, who had planned to do so. After all, he wanted to feel how powerful the Homewood Sword Technique really was.
Now that Levi specifically asked for it, Gerald knew he didn't need to hold back anymore. It's really a win-win situation.
After all, the three then continued the carefree conversation until they finished eating.
As promised, Levi brought the two to his family's ironworks shop right after lunch.
The iron workshop itself was a landmark in Shontell, with the building looking like a giant sword that had been thrust to the ground. As if that wasn't impressive enough, the large workshop inside was optimized to provide constant stock to all the sword-selling stores in Shontel.
Moving back to the trio, with smithery in sight, Yalinda's eyes instantly widened as she exclaimed,
"Geez! This is the first time seeing a smithery up close!"
Naturally, not many were granted access to the smithery. In addition to the Homewood workers and family members, anyone must have proof of their identity before being allowed in, which explains why Yalinda never even approached the building after living in Shontell for so long.
However, since they had Levi in the lead, Gerald and Yalinda had no problem getting in. Once inside, the two were instantly amazed by how hot and steamy everything was!
With the metal 'vulnerability' unceasingly hammered around him, it was evident that the workers were serious about their craft. It was truly an incredible sight.
Gerald, for example, thought that the ancients - on earth - must have made swords like this as well.
Seeing Gerald, Levi then asked, saying,
"Let's see here, brother Gerald! What do you think?"
"Excellent is the only word I can think of right now.your smithery is truly spectacular!"
Praising Gerald from the bottom of his heart.
Chuckling in response, Levi then said,
"As a trivial matter, know that my blacksmith can produce over a thousand high-quality weapons every day! They are so sharp that you can easily slice stones with them!"
After that, Levi then led Gerald and Yalinda to the finished product storage. And within it, there were at least a hundred swords, with each sword looking different from each other.
Smiling, Levi then declared,
"Pick one for yourself, brother Gerald! Let's just say it's my gift to you!"
