Ch. 68 – Proof Strength

Isaac was already up on his feet and looking at the black-haired youth who was seeping light blue Mana from all over his body.

His shout already echoed throughout the stadium and created many conversations that filled the air, but did not affect the two youths standing on top of the arena.

“What's your reason for showing this to me?”

“Your attacks are not bad, the feeling that is in every one of your attacks is already very good. You just need to control it”

Getting an answer that had nothing to do with his question made Brick show a strange expression.

Leinn began to close his eyes and in an instant the entire Mana stopped seeping from his body, then opened his eyes again and Mana started seeping out again.

This happened several times in front of Brick, demonstrating Leinn's ability to activate and turn off his Overflow state as he wished.

Not minding the increasingly violent commotion around him, Leinn began to re-explain.

Leinn turned his head towards Roland's seat while grabbing the sword hilt in his left hand.

Leinn drew out his sword and a sword path of light blue Mana that formed a semicircle appeared in the air, issuing a ten meter high sword wave that began to move swiftly towards Roland.

A huge explosion formed from the impact of the two attacks and spread a powerful wave around it, causing some of the new disciples closest to the impact to be lifted from their seats and floated up for a moment.

After a while for the situation to calm down again, everyone there could see the result of the clash of the two attacks.

The two attacks left an outline of the large hole and their meeting point became a twenty-meter wide hole with a depth of almost ten meters.

Almost everyone other than Adeline who used her ice as a protector was already stuck to the stone wall behind her.

Twig is also seen wrapped around Adeline's ice, stopping her four-meter body from bouncing any further.

Not paying any heed to Roland who was looking at him while frowning, Leinn returned his attention to Brick who managed to hold himself back from the blast wave by sticking both of his fists on the stone floor.

Brick saw Leinn sheathing back his sword and Slime leaping towards them, then turned his head and found his Contracted Beast had already bounced out of the arena.

“I lost..”.

Leinn flipped his body and walked back to where he was waiting, leaving Brick who was still sitting limply.

“Remember your reason for fighting”

With that last sentence, Leinn jumped down from there.

Brick fell down lying on the stone floor, with his bear crawling beside him and looking at him worriedly.

He looked at his Contracted Beast and recalled the words Leinn had spoken to him, and an annoyed smile appeared on his face.

He could not stop the feeling he had not wanted to face all along.

“Hahaha..”.

The small laugh came out of his mouth along with the medical team and three of his friends who were running towards him.

Aura was seen hugging Clear tightly while smiling widely, she felt very relieved to see Clear had returned to her normal state.

Rufus simply lay down beside them and turned towards the trembling Clear.

Leinn sat next to the two of them while looking at the repair team that was working hard.

Their numbers were seen to be almost double compared to before, but the time required was already much longer than before as well.

“I feel this is my fault?”

Some teachers and spectators who could use earth element magic even came to help, but this still took nearly half an hour to almost fix everything as it was.

Of course the most time-consuming was to close the huge hole outside the arena caused by it.

Adeline looked at her opponent who was showing that nervous expression in confusion, looking at a different Aura from the previous fight.

Aura started to clasp her staff violently due to her nervousness, seeing her opponent this time around was the daughter of the Ice God who was very famous as the best ice user of their generation.

But strangely, unfamiliar sentences began to appear inside his head.

With each sentence he remembered, his feelings became calmer.

The girl stopped shaking.

“Breet..”.

The one who first realized it was none other than his opponent, Adeline.

Seeing that Aura's expression turned serious, he realized this fight would become very interesting. A small smile appeared on his face and he began to clasp his staff tighter.
