Ch. 59 – Mind Load
The young man showed an expression like he did not understand what his opponent was talking about.
“H-huh?”
Leinn pointed at the ball in his right hand, then pointed at the black praying mantis in the middle of the arena in front of him.
“Beast I attacked Beast-mu”
He then lowered his right hand which was holding Clear.
“This is still a Beast duel!”
“Eeeh?!”
Regardless of the gaze from his opponent and the surrounding audience, Leinn swung his right hand up tightly and threw Clear into the air once more.
He also began to lower his standing position, preparing to jump.
“Clear!”
The bham!
A loud kick cracked the stone floor below him and made him jump after Clear who was still floating high in the air.
His opponent still did not finish digesting his words and was late to react when he saw Leinn already aligned with Clear in midair in an inverted position, this time both his legs pointed at the sky and his head towards the ground.

A loud kick landed on the crystal ball, making it dart rapidly through the air.

The young man with the book also felt surprised to see his Contracted Beast still conscious. Looks like the protection he gave at the last moment managed to reduce the damage he received.
His leg expression was also cut short when he saw his opponent making a familiar move.

Leinn looked calm and sat down beside him and placed Clear on his lap. He also placed his hand on the Clear and spoke softly.

Leinn turned his head and looked at Aura beside him.
“Yesterday, when I was training with him”
Aura showed a puzzled expression for a moment then realized something from the recently finished fight. Leinn's movements were smooth, Clear which bounced and landed back in his hands after each attack, and a Finisher.
Leinn had been practicing using Clear as a bullet for these few days!
“Just after I was refining our Finisher, he came to his senses and told me his condition”
“H-huh..”.
“I'm pretty sure he'll wake up full tomorrow or no later than the day”

Their conversation stopped there.
Aura actually still had some questions and there were also some things that were bothering her a lot, but she did not feel like bothering Leinn with her problem.
So he simply stroked Rufus' head beside him while looking at Leinn beside him.
Leinn just sat there looking ahead with a serious expression, but his attention was not on the fight in front of him.
He seemed to be contemplating something.

Aura walked slowly behind a strange group in front of her.
A black-and-white gorilla with fruit on her right hand and more of the same fruit on her left hand, a wolf who was chewing fried meat by half his body and a black-haired youth who was chewing the same meat on his right hand.
They were all walking past the main park that was in the middle of the academy.

The four of them had just finished their dinner from the cafeteria, which became a sight of themselves seeing the three starving creatures devouring the mountain of food in a short period of time.
As a tradition of this academy, new students can eat for free during tournaments and festivals afterwards in the main cafeteria.
Leinn who heard the new information immediately ran over leaving Isaac who was diving the remaining eight people from the group today while pulling Aura.
Basalt and Rufus are seen enjoying their new size which makes each of their meals always bigger than before, given their usual size which is not small.
This plus the opportunity to eat as much as they were, making half the food supply of the cafeteria for dinner today was successfully spent by the three of them.
Aura could only sit awkwardly while finishing her food beside them. He also apologized to the cafeteria personnel who became busy cooking new portions with groceries for the next day.

It was fortunate that they were not angry and just shook their heads with a smile. It seems that their head chef also looks happy that someone likes his cooking so much.

Aura could only shake her head seeing these two Beasts and one human showing the same innocent expression.

Aura also saw Leinn still carrying four Yellow Chicken Fried thighs in his left hand.

Aura had also noticed Leinn eating the chicken meat all the way to her bones, a habit that Rufus followed beside her.
They continued walking without any conversation, only the sound of three chews, and the Aura began to open and eat the candy she had received from the personnel of the previous cafeteria.
The four of them finally arrived at a temporary resting place for the new disciple.
Leinn then stopped and seemed intent on going somewhere else.

He started walking away from them.
Basalt returned to his room alone and slept first, he was quite tired after the fight during the day.
Aura and Rufus returned to their rooms as well.
The wolf immediately lay on the floor and fell asleep, his satiety making him sleepy.
While Aura lay on her bed and tried to sleep, resting for her fight tomorrow.

His fight tomorrow, thinking about it made his mind start to be filled with various negative things again.
