Ch. 57 – Interesting People

“So you lost?”

“Hoh..”.

The black-haired youth sat with the black-haired gorilla, next to each other.

“Do you accept?”

“Hoh!”

“Leinn..”.

The pink-haired girl sat on the other side of the young man with the white-haired wolf, next to each other.

The two pairs of Beast-men sat down without anyone daring to sit in the same chair.

The same scenery as before the second wave fight was started, with the bonus of Aura, Basalt and Rufus.

Leinn sat beside the black-haired Basalt, precisely charred black.

“Hoh!”

“Yes yes, I'm not sure you can win a one-on-one fight with him”

“Hoh..”.

The three of them arrived at the stadium just as Leinn had just finished his fight, and the first thing he did was laugh at Basalt's new color.

He only stopped when he saw Basalt not react after seeing himself laughing for an entire minute.

“I myself am not sure I can win against him in a hand-to-hand fight. Two out of three such fights would end with my defeat”

Leinn said that while looking to reminisce about his past, his fight with Roland.

Basalt looked a little calmer when he heard that explanation.

“Leinn!”

“Hm? Oh yes”

That Aura call reminded him of his request. Leinn began to lay his hands on Basalt's arms and examine his body. After a while he raised his hand and turned his head towards Aura again.

“Just relax, the wound will heal tomorrow. The day after tomorrow he would be like not to sustain any injuries, it seemed like Roland was holding back his attack power”

“...”

Aura was still looking at Leinn anxiously. He sees Basalt wounded after his fight and intends to heal his wounds, but is stopped by Basalt himself.

He seemed to be imitating Leinn and Roland who did not heal their wounds after their fight.

Aura had asked Leinn to change Basalt's mind and allow herself to be healed.

“Letting small wounds heal on their own is not a bad thing, let him remember the wounds from their fight. We can't ask you to heal every wound we get”

“...alah”

Aura seemed to have not accepted that way of thinking, but she also could not force her desire. He was actually not sure that the wound from the lightning strike that emptied his entire fur could be counted as a small wound.

The two of them returned to look at the people and their Beasts who were fighting above the arena.

Brick can be seen making consecutive attacks on his opponent with his Contracted Beast, the Blue Grizzly who is fighting with his opponent Beast.

A fight that looks very fierce.

“...”

But Leinn's gaze was on another pair of fighters, two from a group of 100.

A green-haired Young Man was seen dodging two attacks from his humans and Beast. This was a two-on-one fight, and the young man looked desperate.

The two blades belonging to the green-haired young man managed to resist and divert his opponent's attacks that always almost hit him, making him look desperate.

In reality he had deliberately avoided those attacks within a minimal distance.

“Aah..”.

Leinn looked disappointed when he saw the young man's opponent starting to prepare a huge attack.

The green-haired youth did not miss the opportunity and by using quick steps to dodge the Beast attack in front of him, then started to approach his opponent very quickly.

Seeing the young man's movements, his opponent panicked for a moment and raised his sword to resist the attack.

Clang Slash!

The sword in his hand came loose and a cold iron stuck to his neck, making him raise both his hands and surrender, making the green-haired young man a winner.

Booms!

Simultaneously, Brick's opponent landed outside his arena after failing to dodge the attack wave from Brick's large axe.

Leinn got up and left Clear in his seat.

Aura looked at that and showed a puzzled expression, then realized Leinn was intending to walk into the arena after the final fight of the second wave was just finished.

“How did you know you'd get your first turn..?”.

Leinn turned his head without stopping his steps.

“My feelings are”

Leinn waved his hand and started walking.

Aura turned her attention to the glass screen she was on over the arena. After the first wave was completed and left 64 people, then the remaining 32 names of the second wave started to spin and compose into pairs for the third wave fight, 16 pairs.

“Hah?”

And of course Leinn was at the very top, one of the first four couples, for the third time.

...

“I'll beat you!”

The clear announcement came out from the mouth of the young man standing on the other side of where Leinn was standing, who pointed his sword at his opponent while raising his head arrogantly.

Leinn looked at his opponent's face and could not remember it at all, signaling that he was from Roland's group.

He was his second opponent who came from that group.

“Huh?”

And therefore he became confused about the announcement of his victory.

The audience around them and the six other fighters were also confused, where did his confidence come from?

“Majulah! Me and my partner will stop you, Monster!”

“Honk!”

He kicked the stone floor beneath him tightly and started to run fast, his sword was in a position to give a stab.

The white swan behind him also began to flap its wings and flew after him.

Leinn looked at the sword in his opponent's hand that was getting closer.

It was long and much thinner than an ordinary sword, and its armour widened and protected the entire fist grasping its handle.

“One!”

Quick stab to forehead. Seeing the black-haired young man in front of him just standing there, he was confident his sword would reach its target.

Clang

His sword was raised high and pointed at the sky, his hand grip was also almost detached.

“A-what?!”

He took one step back and directly kicked the floor firmly, launching an advanced puncture.

“Two!”

Clang

His sword was pushed hard to the side, he could also feel his hands tingling more and more. After experiencing it for the second time, he could almost see what was happening.

The black-haired youth in front of him brushed off his attack with the sword in his left hand, but he could not see the sword being plucked in the slightest.

This time he took three steps back.

“Tabir!”

He raised his sword and a strong wind started to blow.

It turned out that the white Goose in the air started to flap its wings forcefully, resulting in that gust of strong wind.

“Honk!”

Suddenly, a large amount of white fur filled Leinn's surroundings and sealed his vision perfectly. The mana present in each of those white feathers would also interfere with the vision that sees based on the movement of the Mana in the air.

The young man took two sideways steps without making a sound and kicked the stone floor once more, launching a stab with force from his entire body at the black-haired young man who was in the middle of the white feather dome.

“Ti-!“
