Ch. 100 – All right?

“Haha!”

A short laugh came out from the black-haired young man who was running while dodging some disciples who blocked his path.

“Ruff!”

And right behind him was a gigantic wolf that was running after him with all its might, while trying not to step on the disciples that the young man in front of him avoided.

This was the first time Leinn's escape attempt had been successful and reached where the other disciples had gathered, causing this to be quite a ruckus amongst all of them.

Rumors swirled among the students at the academy that their two new geniuses were being seriously injured and spending their holidays at the Academy Health Center.

Coupled with themselves not being seen at all in the entire academy for three days and the Health Center that was experiencing an increase in securities had reinforced the truth of the rumor.

“Eat dust!”

...But the scene before them was currently proving the falsehood of the rumor.

How could a severely injured person be able to outrun a Rank B Wolf Beast in a flat place like this academy's garden.

“...which is true only..”

The incredulous voice came out from the blue haired girl who was walking in the company of the pink haired girl beside her.

“So she's fine..”.

A tone of relief could be heard in Aura's speech, very different from the tone of disbelief from Adeline beside her. The two of them were reading one of the Magic Theory books in the Library until when Aura received a signal from Rufus through her Contract.

And what they found was Leinn who was already able to run away from Rufus without the slightest difficulty

“It wasn't without difficulty”

A voice with a flat tone suddenly sounded from behind the two girls, forcing them to turn their heads.

“It was one of the running techniques created by Leinn, which was very effective for messing up the sharp instincts of Beasts like Rufus”

“...?!”

Adeline looked surprised instead of playing when she found the young blonde, Roland standing there.

With a gentle smile on his face.

“It seems three days of not moving is the limit, seeing him until it is as serious as it is to avoid Rufus chasing after him.”.

Aura felt a little strange when she saw that smile that did not disappear from Roland's face, then turned her head and found Adeline's face that had already turned bright red.

Adeline had not seen Roland for a few days because she was busy researching various magic that might help her recovery with Aura in the Library. This was the first time he had seen the young man after the past few days, and he was now looking at him with a very gentle smile.

“Ah.. uh..”

“Adeline...?”

Roland finally realized the strange condition of the girl before him and started to step closer to him, and almost received a straight punch in return.

“Adeline?!” said Roland while avoiding Adeline's quick punch.

“B-stop smiling...!”

Hearing that, Roland immediately showed a surprised expression and started examining both of his arms.

Aura and Adeline also realized that and became very surprised as well.

“Haha..”.

A small laugh came out from Roland's mouth, which did not let out the slightest bit of lightning from his body.

“Umfh...?!”

“Adeline...!”

“...!?”

Aura took one step back when she saw the swift movement of that Roland, who suddenly hugged the girl beside him, with a wide smile could be seen on his face.

Now in the park there are two quite surprising sights.

In the middle of the park there is a chase between Leinn and Rufus.

On one side of the park was Roland hugging Adeline.

“...Roland?”

Then Aura who stood between the two sights, called out to the blond young man in front of her.

“...hm?”

It seemed like the call made Roland aware and made him loosen his embrace, then find Adeline who was already motionless.

White steam can be seen coming out of his face that has become red like a tomato, which looks like he is smiling satisfied.

“Adeline?!”

Not understanding what he had done, Roland began to panic and picked up Adeline and took her away to the Health Center she had just left behind.

“...huh?”

Adeline is seen waking up to the shock made by Roland who is running as hard as he can, then finds himself in the arms of the young man.

“...”

Then he closed his eyes again, pretending to be unconscious.

The two of them disappeared from the sight of all the disciples still present in the park, who were still seeing the exchange between the Human and the Beast becoming increasingly fierce.

Leinn was seen starting to circle Rufus in a different way than before, making the wolf unable to get used to the way it ran.

The aura that was looking at the exchange that had yet to be seen finally began to walk up to them while grasping his magic wand.

It looks like that fight will be two against one.

“Good..”.

A soft whisper came out from the mouth of the brown-haired youth who was standing behind one of the trees in the garden where the exchange between Leinn and Rufus had just happened. He had just seen the fight in that park, which ended with eight fireballs appearing simultaneously and surrounding the black-haired youth.

After that Leinn could only lie still as Rufus bit off his collar and carried him back towards the Health Center, with the pink-haired girl walking with them.

“Psssht..”

“Ya... soon”

The young man began to move leaving the garden in a different direction alongside the white snake wrapped around his right arm.

But his gaze still could not be separated from the young man on the wolf's muzzle.
