Humanity Return
Ch. 18 – Big Magic

“L-leinn” someone calls his name from behind him.

Leinn turned his head and found Aura looking at him with an anxious expression, then turned her head towards the three young men.

It seemed that Aura was worried about the safety of the group, seeing that they were in a deep area of the forest and Brick was still unconscious.

“Just relax, Aura” said Leinn with a smile.

He then turned to look at one of the tree branches that was 20 meters from where he stood.

“Please take care of them”

With that parting sentence Leinn turned her body and raised Aura with both hands then started running away from them.

The three of them just stood still looking at that distant back, then looked towards the tree branch that Leinn saw.

And someone wearing a watchdog outfit jumped down from there.

“Are you guys okay?” said the newcomer quickly, failing to hide the feeling of panic in his voice.

The watchman walked in front of them, putting on a serious expression with cold sweat still running down his face.

He had already dashed to that place after hearing the relentless explosions and found the finished fight between the black-haired young man and the four people.

He only intended to wait on top of the tree while using magic that eliminated his existence, unexpectedly it turned out that the young man could find it easily.

“Uh..”.

Suddenly a feeble voice sounded from Brick who was lying not far from them.

...

Boom boom...

Leinn galloped while shrouded in the protector of Mana made by Aura who was in his hands.

He was taking her in the same position as in the previous day, but Aura did not seem to overreact in that position.

This time a transparent protective ball had already formed around the two of them, dispelling the wind and making their tempering more stable.

The protective magic was produced by Aura who did not want to repeat the unpleasant feeling from the strong wind that hit her face.

He recalled the experience of having trouble opening his eyes and breathing during those few moments.

Leinn was also taking him with much more stability than before, seeming to have gotten used to just doing it once in the previous day.

Some time passed after they began to run, and they entered an area where the trees around them were seen growing a variety of fruits of great size.

Moments after entering that new part of the forest, finally the source of the sound of the previous explosion could be seen in front of them.

Boom up..!

A white gorilla was fighting the wolf, and the fight seemed to be almost over.

The Gorilla Beast swung its fists and managed to hit its target body, making it float through the air at high speed.

The wolf's body pierced through several trees until it was finally stopped when it hit one larger tree.

“Hoh Hoh...!”

The white gorilla hit his chest hard and started running, looking like it wanted to deal a finishing blow to the motionless wolf.

Until suddenly, a small shadow appeared in front of him and shocked him, making him launch his fist at the alien creature.

The newcomer also retorted by turning his body and giving a sideways kick.

Booms!

Waves of explosions emerged from the meeting of the big fist and the small leg, thickening the two.

Leinn managed to maintain his balance, although that did not stop his legs from making two straight lines ten meters in front of him and made him stand near the body of the big wolf.

Aura leaped down and began to inspect the Wolf Beast in front of him, his entire body looking covered in wounds and trembling strongly.

But his savage eyes did not show the slightest fear, only a strong fighting intent.

If not for the fear that caused this, then...

‘Poisons?’

On the other hand, Leinn had already started walking and was facing the huge Beast who was staring at his fists in a daze.

Leinn finally stopped walking and stood ten meters away from the gorilla, starting to research the Beast's body in front of him.

A four-meter tall body and white fur covered his entire body, but his thick fur could not hide the huge muscles that formed his body.

Both of his arms were already wider than Leinn's body, looking extremely gripping.

Several parts of his body were also draining blood from the large wolf's scratch wound.

“Hold!” yelled Aura loudly.

Aura stood in front of the wounded wolf with a staff in her right hand, starting to cast magic.

The big wolf wanted to swing its claws at the human in front of him but either because of the poison in his body, or the eyes of the girl who was seen had been soaked in tears, he was unable to move his body.

“Hoh.?!” the gorilla looked behind Leinn.

The Gorilla Beast realized the Mana in the air was starting to spin and formed a magic circle around Aura, he was not happy that someone wanted to interfere with his fight with that Wolf Beast.

After hitting his chest a few times, he started running to stop Aura's magic.

Leinn immediately jumped forward as well to block him.

“Hoh...!”

He clenched his hands together and swung them down with all his might.

Leinn countered with his spinning kick.

Two fists and one leg meet.

Booms!

A violent impact wave spread out and shook the trees, making the Gorilla Beast pushed back five steps. An unusually puzzled expression appeared again as he stared at the two palms in front of him.

This little creature is strong enough to stop him again?

“Aw aw aw.... once-hurt Leinn's voice suddenly sounded from the impact site of their attack.

The dust fog began to subside and Leinn was seen crawling out of a five-meter-wide hole in the ground.

It seemed like the direction of the previous attack meeting was extremely unfavorable to him, seeing that he had just hit the ground beneath him violently.

Before the two of them could make their next move, Aura had already finished chanting her magic.

Ten magic circles were already hovering behind the girl, who began to move over the body of the huge, motionless wolf. All of those magic circles finally aligned into a long row of magic circles in the sky.

“Hoh..”.

“Wow..”.

Leinn and the Gorilla just stood up and looked from a distance, they saw a gigantic fire sword start to emerge from the magic circle.

Leinn recognized the shape of this sword, only that its size this time was much different than before.

The new sword looks closer to a tower than a sword.

The gorilla behind him only admired the magic with his mouth open.

He did not feel any danger at all when he saw the gigantic white fire sword in front of him, although he could sense the massive amount of Mana that had formed that magic.

Whereas the wolf could only stare at the girl in front of him after seeing the giant sword on it.

“Kaing..” this time fear can be heard in his voice.

He did not expect that the little human in front of him would give an ultimate attack on his dying self.

The wounds and poison that had accumulated in his body finally made his head fall to the ground.

The magic circle in the sky finally disappeared and left a gigantic white fire sword 40 meters high, surpassing the height of the surrounding trees. The gigantic fire sword started to drift ever higher and stopped ten meters from the ground.

[Blaze Blade, Over]

Boom...!

The sword fell down and turned into a wave of white flames that spread out in all directions in an instant.
