Ch. 20 – Seriousness

Leinn also became more serious and waited for the next attack, but the Gorilla Beast just stood there staring at him.

“What are you waiting for?” Leinn raised one eyebrow.

“Hoh? HOH HOH!” The gorilla swung his right fist up and down, quite excitedly.

That looks pretty weird.

“Hm... are you sure?”

“Hoh hoh!”

Leinn released the bracelet on his left hand and the magic circle spun for five seconds, turning into a sword. His left hand grasped the scabbard and his right hand gripped the handle tightly.

The aura standing in the distance looked at the exchange with a puzzled expression. The two of them seemed to be able to communicate without the slightest problem.

He could see Leinn waiting for the gorilla to bring up the two chunks of rock in his fist, and the gorilla was waiting for Leinn to bring out his sword.

Then the fight started again.

Booms!

Waves of huge swords floated out from his slash and hit the rock, breaking it into pieces and forming a dust fog.

After hitting the fragments of the stone with the sword sheath in his left hand, Leinn immediately leapt firmly behind.

A huge stone fist emerged from that dust fog.

BOOM UP!

The blast wave from the punch that landed on the ground pushed his body towards one of the large trees firmly.

He twisted his body in the air and managed to temper his feet on the tree, and leapt back using the energy that pushed him back.

Mana began to revolve at the tip of the sword until the tip of its foot, turning its entire body into a huge spear.

The gorilla looked at the incoming attack and hit the ground beside him with his left fist. In an instant the stone that enveloped his left hand grew larger by more than three times compared to before.

The small rocks fell back to the ground and the thick dust fog started to spread, showing the result of the impact.

Leinn was grasping the handle of his sword that stuck in the left fist of the Gorilla Beast who had lost its stone protector.

“Heh..” Leinn smiled slightly.

He realized he was in a bad situation.

His attack had indeed managed to destroy the Gorilla protector but at the same time, it drained all the energy in his attack.

“HOOH..!”

The gorilla pulled out his left fist, making Leinn who could not pull back his sword come into interest as well and he swung his right fist with all his might.

Tears began to flow down his face and he started running closer to that dust mist.

Just as Aura was about to reach where Leinn landed, the big wolf behind her bit her dress and lifted her up.

Seeing her feet not touching the ground, Aura became panicked and started thrashing. He was also aware of the culprit who lifted him into the air.

“What are you doing?! I should-“

“Hoh! Hohs... Hoh?”

The Gorilla Beast stopped its celebration abruptly, its eyes wide open as it looked at the subsiding dust fog.

Aura was also aware of the shadow standing amidst the mist.

With the clothes already turned red, Leinn stood there with a sword in her right hand.

Along with that whispering sound, the sword in Leinn's hand emitted a bright light. In a flash a ten meter long sky blue colored sword appeared in his hand.

The Gorilla Beast also managed to envelop its entire body with a black boulder, forming a fairly gripping armor.

With a light swing, he dropped his slash. Simultaneously, sounds again filled the place, the sound of the ground being torn apart by the waves of sky-blue colored swords ten meters high.

The Gorilla Beast crossed its arms and received the wave of the sword with its entire body.
