Ch. 29 – Contract, Again

“Wow”

Byuru byuru...!

“Kyuu?”

Finally the light died down and showed the shape of the Giant Slime.

“Byo...?”

That Giant Slime was becoming bigger than before it appeared there. His body height was seen to have passed 80 meters and shifted some Rank B Slime nearby.

Coreless Slime who had woken up next to him looked confused looking at the big Slime.

“Kyuu?”

“Byoro...?”

“Yes this is compensation for my actions earlier” said Leinn firmly.

Giant Slime was also very confused to see the condition of his body. He had already become so huge that it almost touched the ceiling and even he had managed to form dozens of new Slime Core in his body.

Leinn looked satisfied looking at the change and turned to the little Slime beside her.

“Halo” says Leinn gently.

“Kyuu?”

Not feeling the evil intentions of the humans in front of him, the little Slime began to leap around him with curiosity.

Leinn said nothing and just let it go, he didn't even react when the little Slime started to climb up his body.

After a while, this little Slime looked satisfied and returned to the floor.

“Kyuu”

Leinn also sat on the floor and started talking to him.

“So... I came here actually to make a Contract with one of you”.

“Kyuu?”

“Byoro..!”

The little slime in front of him was simply replying with a small tremor that showed he did not understand what Leinn meant.

The Giant Slime behind him reacted even more strongly with that word. He had already managed to take out the Slime-Slime that he overwritten and started moving closer to Leinn. After arriving in front of him, he took out a single tentacle and pointed at the small Slime in front of him again.

“Byoooro...?”

“Ya, I want to make a Contract with him” replied Leinn directly.

“Kyuu?”

Hearing this answer, the Giant Slime tentacle began to move and touch the body of the little Slime. Their bodies both started to glow dimly.

After some time and some body tremors, the Giant Slime pulled back its tentacles and returned to its previous position.

“Kyuu!”

The little slime began to jump in front of Leinn, he seemed to have understood the meaning of the Contract with humans in front of him. The spirited reaction she showed showed her desire to go out and out to see the world.

“Are you sure?”

“Kyuu!”

“Alright then”

Leinn stood up and pulled out the Contract Seal from his pants pocket, bit his left index finger and dripped his blood onto the paper. He began to stare at the little Slime in front of him without saying anything.

“Kyuu?”

“Huh..”.

Leinn realized the Contract Seal in his hand was wider than Slime's body in front of him, would he be alright?

After thinking for a while, he ended up just trying to stick the paper on the little Slime's body.

The Contract Seal began to shine and turn into particles of light, half of them into the body of the little Slime and the remaining half into Leinn's body.

“Whoa” says Leinn a little surprised.

“KYUUU!”

Leinn gained a sensation that he never felt, whereas the little Slime in front of him shook violently as the particles entered his body.

After a while, the sensation began to subside and the two of them calmed down.

They could feel an invisible connection between the two of them and could sense each other's position continuously.

“Alright, from now on your name is ‘Clear’!” leinn said with a big smile.

He had gotten that name ever since he saw that Slime was strangling his right hand.

“Kyuu!”

Clear looked excited by his new name and jumped into Leinn's stomach, then started climbing up and finally rested on top of the large bag on his back.

Successfully getting what he was looking for, Leinn started walking out while waving his hands at the Giant Slime and the surrounding Slime.

“Oke, goodbye!”

“Byoro”

Byuru Byuru

They all shook back, Giant Slime to the point of bringing up the tentacles and imitating the wave of his hand.

The other Rank B Slime Beasts had also not shown any hostile feelings after seeing the Giant Slime change and started waving their tentacles as well.

Leinn had just walked a few steps and then suddenly stopped, he grabbed onto his waist bag and put what he had just pulled out on the floor.

“This is as a sign of friendship from me, see you again!”

This time Leinn did not stop his steps and disappeared out of the strange building.

After some time had passed since the human had left, the Giant Slime stretched out its tentacles to where Leinn had placed his parting gift.

It was none other than ten nearly round stones with a thin, colorful mist visible within.

The Giant Slime only saw the stone in its tentacles for a moment before moving its tentacles and throwing it into the Slime Heart behind it.

Whooong!

That Slime Heart started to tremble strongly and let out a strange sound.

The Giant Slime showed no reaction and only paid attention to the dark passage that the strange man had just passed through. His body trembled remembering the last sentence he left behind.

“Byoro..”.

Under a large, dense tree, there was a pink haired girl who was drowning in her own daydream.

That girl was none other than the Flameheart Aura.

“Hah..” Aura let out a long breath.

This was the first time he had had such quiet time by himself since meeting Leinn. Several things began to appear in his mind as he sat alone and did not have anything to take his mind off.

The real reason Leinn helped him, his worries would disappoint his First Brother if he failed to make the Contract, his distrust of his own abilities if he managed to make the Contract though, and other negative things.

The girl's gaze began to move and stopped in the cave in her daydream. Tucked in a negative spiral in his head there was only one other thought.

‘What Leinn fine’

A long time had passed and the young man still had not come out.

Aura began to look at the Wolf Beast sleeping beside her and the Gorilla Beast who was just sitting in front of the dark cave while chewing on fresh fruit. His head began to fill with scenarios that might occur in the cave.

“Uh..”.

Unable to stop his uneasiness, Aura stood up and started walking closer to the dark cave.

The Wolf Beast who was seen sleeping beside him suddenly woke up and walked to the front of Aura and confronted him.

“Woof”

“K-why are you facing me...? I-I just want to check the cave briefly” said Aura surprised.

He did not expect the wolf to not actually sleep and watch his movements.

The Wolf Beast did not reply and lay down in front of him. Aura started walking to the side, intending to pass through the huge roadblock in front of her and was stopped by the huge head pushing her back.

He tried in the other direction and the huge tail blocked him again, this happened a few more times with the same result.

Until a new voice stopped Aura's steps.

“What is this? New game?”
