Ch. 66 - Ended

The only reason he was still standing in front of Roland was his concern.

He could instantly give up and avoid a crushing defeat at the hands of the Prince of Lightning in front of him, or he could possibly put up a resistance and eventually might be remembered by him.

In the midst of his worries, time finally forced him to choose the last option.

The red bull beside him was just staring at his Contractor with a confused bull expression.

Roland just stood there unaccompanied by any Beast, though, and the man immediately looked behind him and saw that the four-meter-long snake was spinning and biting its tail in front of Adeline who was looking at it with a gentle gaze.

The man returned his gaze to the front and looked at Roland in a daze, a feeling that most of the spectators around them were feeling.
