Ch. 28 – Small Wadding

A cold laugh came out from the black-haired young man's mouth, making all the little Slime in the room start to react. They really wanted to stop the human, but it was their own survival instinct that stopped them from moving closer to him.

Leinn began to look around and found many new slimes crawling out of the holes in the surrounding walls.

They slid down from that hole and began to crawl towards him, slowed down by another Slime who could not move.

Leinn also realized there was no Rank B Slime among the newcomers.

“...aha!” a amazed voice came out from the young man's mouth.

Finally he reached the front of the throne, then realized he could barely lift his legs again.

The chair that had a width of four meters and a height where it leaned to reach eight meters looked very majestic. His seat was like it was covered by the first soft material he had seen since entering the cave.

Deg. deg...

Leaning on the throne was a light blue-colored sphere that was almost transparent, giving off a sound like the heartbeat of a living being. And every beat of it, the pressure on the human body in front of him increased nonstop.

“Please help a little..” whispered Leinn slowly.

Whoosh...!

The purple mist all over Leinn's body exploded once again, this time continuously. Eventually his entire body was covered by a thin layer of purple mist which reduced the pressure he was subjected to drastically.

All the new Slime Beasts that were crawling towards him from all directions also stopped moving, losing their vigor.

Leinn continued walking closer to the crystal ball while smiling coldly, unaware of one small movement in the room.

Finally he stood in front of the stone throne and could clearly see a transparent ball three meters wide leaning on it.

Is.deg...

The sound of the heartbeat began to slow down, like realizing he could not stop the human in front of him..

“Sorry, this will feel weird..”.

Leinn stretched out his right hand, intending to touch the ball.

Until suddenly...

Thumps

“Uhk-!?”

Leinn took one step forward to stop his body that was about to fall forward. He looked back and found nothing.

He examined the surrounding area with a puzzled expression.

“Kyuu.!” a small voice suddenly sounded right from behind him.

Leinn looked back once more without successfully finding anything, and finally realized something.

He instantly removed the large bag on his back and let it fall to the floor.

Thump!

“Kyuu!?”

The identity of the perpetrator was finally exposed, he was none other than a little Slime!

“Huh?” Leinn let out a confused voice while looking at the surroundings.

He found another Slime in the room still unable to move. His attention returned to the little Slime who was still shaking on top of his bag after receiving a shock from the impact of the bag.

Leinn began to examine the little creature in more detail.

The slime finally managed to stabilize and realized the human in front of him was staring at him, then he used all his strength to jump onto that face.

“Kyuu!”

Plop

“Kyuu...! Kyuu...!”

The slime ended up using all its strength to stick to its target, trying to stifle it. But one thing he did not realize was that he was now clinging to the man's right hand, not his face.

Leinn could finally clearly see the shape of the Slime in his hand. With a size that could only fill his palms, and there was not a single Slime Core on his body.

“Hehe..”.

The slime realized that there was a sound of laughter emerging from the human being he was pressing down on. Humans should not be able to do that while being distracted.

Smiling broadly at that reaction, Leinn again carried back his large bag on his left shoulder and leaped over the entire staircase in front of him, landing on top of the Giant Slime's puddle.

“KYUUU!”

Receiving a strong wind pounding his body made the little Slime lose strength and break away from Leinn's palm and fall upon the Giant Slime's puddle, then shake strongly.

Leinn leaped once more and landed on the stone floor, right between the Giant Slime and the 20 Slime Beasts that had fought him before. He raised his right hand high and closed his eyes.

Whoongs

The air in the room began to tremble strongly and a purple mist could be seen coming out from the surrounding Slime puddles, being sucked into Leinn's body.

All the Slime in the room also let out a purple mist, although it was much less than the 20 Rank B Slime Beast.

While the purple fog that came out of the Giant Slime's body exceeded half that in the room at the moment.

Not until 10 seconds had passed did the surrounding puddles begin to move and lift their bodies and re-form the 20 Slime Beasts.

Leinn lowered his hand and opened his eyes.

BYURU BYURU...!

All the Slime Beasts in this room looked furious and intended to attack Leinn, but were stopped by the biggest Slime Beast.

The byoro!

Along with that powerful voice, the biggest puddle started to lift itself, surprising the little Slime who was on top of it.

“Kyuu..!”

A large tentacle appeared and carried the small slime's fallen body, placing it beside his 50-meter body. He then moved his huge body to approach the human in front of him. He started to shake his body.

Byoro...?

“I've found what I'm looking for”

That answer stopped the Giant Slime's movements for a while, then he took out his tentacles and touched the small Slime beside him.

The byoro?

“Yes, sorry for my treatment earlier” Leinn scratched her head stiffly, feeling a little awkward.

This Giant Slime pulled back its tentacles and shook its huge body.

Byoro....

“Eh? There's no way I just left to take him!” leinn said hurriedly.

Leinn realizes he is like an invader who comes and kidnaps the little boy from the group, with death threats. Something he realized after hearing Giant Slime's offer.

Leinn began to think for a moment and found the solution easily. He grabbed it into his left waist pocket.

Giant Slime already felt strange the man in front of him rejected his peaceful offer and looked at him with a strong curiosity...

Byoro...?

“HIAH!” leinn shouted strongly while swinging his left hand.

THE BYURU!

Without a clear explanation, Leinn threw the item he had just picked up from his waist bag and landed on the body of the late-reacting Giant Slime, making it start to tremble violently.

Seeing that incident, all the Slime in the room started to stand by again.

The little slime beside him also started to leap away.

A BYURURURURU!

And his 50-meter body began to emit a light that illuminated the entire room.
