Humanity Return
Ch. 37 - Winner

Bartolomeo's entire body trembled violently, either from anger or fear. He had already seen his men fall down without being able to put up the slightest resistance, so he swung his hand forcefully once again.

“GO!”

The three people beside him also swung their hands, making their four Contracted Beasts run simultaneously.

Four****big forest.

Judging from their size and running speed, the three**** with a length of two meters were Rank C Beasts while **** the one with darker fur over three meters long was a Rank B Beast.

It seemed like the four of them were prospective new students and the other followers were just ordinary bodyguards.

“Oink...!”

“OK..”.

Leinn dropped his body to the ground, then with one hand as a pedestal he gave a hard sweeping kick towards the four Beasts who were about to reach it.

Whoshis!

Waves of strong wind swept over their feet, making the three Beasts lose one step of their feet and fall gliding on the ground.

The biggest beast continued to run without paying any heed to the attack and managed to reach Leinn.

“Oink!”

A moment before he managed to crash into the human in front of him, his gaze was covered by green grass. The entire momentum he had disappeared in an instant and he realized himself lying upside down on the ground.

“Oin-!“

“Tenlah”

His rampage was stopped by the touch of Leinn's index finger on his neck, which made him feel an illusion like a sword eye was touching his neck and was ready to cut him off if he dared to move.

“Did you give up?”

“Oink..”

Seeing that clear difference in strength, he could only lie down on the grass and not move anymore.

The other three Boar Beasts who had already woken up were again lying on the ground after seeing Leinn's ferocious eyes.

“Fifteen”

No one who watched this fight could clearly see his final move.

They only saw Leinn successfully touch the face**** which almost hit him with his right palm, followed by a sight of****giant already lying upside down on the ground.

Only Aura was aware of the hole that had appeared in the place where Leinn had stepped on while restraining the collision.

“A-what, b-how can”

All that remained were three archers, four Beast Trainers, and 2 blade wearers.

The two blade wearers could only look at each other awkwardly, they should have attacked the man in front of them the moment the opportunity arose, but their group could not hold out long enough for the gap to be visible.

Bartolomeo grew even more panicked after feeling the fear that his Contracted Beast channeled, making him push one of the blade wearers beside him to attack Leinn.

“S-attack him!”

Hearing the unreasonable command and upon seeing the situation, they could only grab the two blades on their waists and start running towards Leinn.

The three archers also tried to protect them with relief shots from behind, and this time the arrows came continuously in numbers of three each time.

Leinn walked up to them while dodging the arrows that came with minimal movement.

“Hmph!”

The simultaneous movements of the two knife-wearers, giving very low stabs to both knees of his feet and three arrows to his stomach, chest and face.

Leinn stopped his footsteps and kicked the ground hard, starting to run fast.

Seeing that sudden change in speed, these two blade wearers could not react and failed to avoid the palm that caught their faces.

“HAH!”

Leinn twisted his body and threw the two humans in his hand towards the seven people in front of him. He also ran after the human missile.

Bam bham...!

Two human missiles hit two archers hard, while one archer who was agile enough to dodge the missile received a punch in the stomach and fell as well.

Along with that falling body, Leinn kicked the ground once more and directly launched a punch towards Bartolomeo.

Bang out!

“Hm?”

His fist struck the iron shield in Bartolomeo's left hand, which instantly lost its balance and was pushed to the ground.

The other three Beast Trainers jumped to protect Bartolomeo who was not in a position that could withstand the continued attacks.

“Twenty”

Bartolomeo began to wake up and take a fighting position once again with his body still shaking violently.

The four of them had the same weapon, a large hammer in the right hand and a shield in the left hand.

Only Bartolomeo's hammer is gold compared to his subordinates' hammer which looks silver.

Seeing their weapons, Leinn changed his fighting style.

“Ayo”

Leinn positioned his left palm in front with his fist clasped behind.

One of the Beast Trainers jumped up high and swung his mana-encircled hammer into Leinn's head.

“Leinn!”

Aura cried out in panic when she saw that Mana-filled hammer, she was not sure Leinn could survive unharmed if she received the attack without using any weapons or body armor.

The hammer nearly reached his head in an instant, making Leinn react by extending out his left palm.

Thumps

A small, barely audible voice appeared when the hammer touched his palm, not producing any waves.

Seeing his attack fail, even the Mana in his hammer was also gone making the Bartolomeo's followers become very confused.

[Vibration Counter]

Whoongs...

A loud and long voice could be heard from Leinn's right fist.

“A-aaa..!” the screams of the follower after sensing the strong danger from that fist.

No wind or blast waves were produced...

Ngiiing...!

Only a loud buzzing sound emerged from that fist, which shook their entire body. Even the spectators standing 100 meters behind them and the people in the campground also started to feel a little tingling from hearing the sound.

The four people who were in front of the source of the sound could only receive the full force of the attack and fell to the ground.

“Fiuh..”.

Both of his palms felt a little tingling after taking out this technique, but Leinn only smiled when he saw the Gorilla Beast had not managed to defeat its last opponent.

“Twenty em-Huh?” leinn's eyes opened wide at the sight before him.

Bartolomeo raised his body and looked at Leinn with an unstable gaze, his self-awareness appearing to be coming and going.

“B-how dare k-kau.. a-I t-not a-would forgive you..ah”.

His words stopped in the middle of his speech, looking at a fist that was starting to fill his eyes.

“Hoooh..!”

Booms!

A strong wind blew on Bartolomeo's face, which then opened his eyes and saw a fist that stopped right in front of his nose. His legs lost strength and he fell, unconscious.

Leinn pulled back his fist and looked at the Gorilla Beast celebrating his victory, then scratched his head and showed a disappointed expression. He did not expect Bartolomeo to survive his attack, allowing the Gorilla to put an end to his last opponent.

The Gorilla Beast felt so happy that he accidentally drained Mana into the cloth on his arm.

“Aaah... I lost..”

Most of the spectators from the encampment who had yet to see the original form of Gorilla Beast became extremely shocked to see the four-meter-tall Beast. It turned out that he had not fought seriously during the fight against 20 people at once.

“Hoh hoh hoh...!”

“Hah~ How long have I not felt this?”

Leinn started walking towards the Gorilla Beast who realized that and also walked towards him.

After getting to the front of him, he was seen smiling widely while hitting his chest.

“Hoh Hoh!”

“Ya, yes. You're winning. Congratulations”

The two of them walked back towards Aura, who started running towards them as well.

Bartolomeo's group had already been forgotten due to the joyous and dark feelings of the two of them.

“Hoh! Hoh Hoh Hoh!”

“I know! You don't have to remind me repeatedly!”

“Leinn!”

Aura got to Leinn's front and began to examine his body to see if he was injured or not. He began to pat Leinn's body and clasped his face without being able to find any injuries.

“I'm not hurt, just a little tired..”.

“Tired?”

Aura looked a little confused, until the moment she saw Runes appear all over Leinn's body and sucked into the four cloths on her hands and feet. He realized that Leinn was still using four Compresses when fighting with Bartolomeo's group.

“K-why?”

“Hm? She also wears it, the time I don't wear it is also”

“Hoh?”

Leinn pointed at the Gorilla Beast who only put on a confused face when he was appointed.

It seems like he just forgot to deactivate his Compress.

Aura had the chance to see Leinn practice wearing those four Compresses and she realized her physical strength had become extremely limited. He was quite certain that Leinn's Status other than his Magic fell until it did not exceed C class.

“Leinn..”.

“Hm?”

Seeing Leinn's relaxed expression in front of him, Aura became lost in her anxiety. He could only breathe short.

“It's okay”

“Ok?”

They walked back to their tents.

The spectators at the camp looked quite frantic looking at the scattered bodies that did not show any movement in the middle of the meadow.

Several supervisors started moving to check their condition, and they found none of them were seriously injured in the group that was fighting Leinn.

While some of the people who were injured the worst when fighting the Gorilla Beast only got a few broken bones.

Seeing that no one was killed, this matter was considered to be finished just like that.

Bzzzts

A small green dragonfly can be seen flying from one of the tree stalks and back into the forest without a single person realizing it.

...

Leinn stood up while folding both of his hands in front of the large Gorilla Beast who was sitting down while playing two thumbs of his hands.

Aura again combed Rufus' feather on her lap with Clear lying beside her.

“So, what do you want from me?”

“Hoh..”.

The extremely small sound that came out of the huge body gave rise to a strange sensation.

His feelings of excitement suddenly disappeared when Leinn asked his request and after a while, the Gorilla Beast stopped playing its finger and looked back at Leinn's gaze.

“Hoh”

“...what?”

Leinn was silent for a moment hearing this request.

“You want... a name?”
