Ch. 132 – Usual Days

The store owner only smiled kindly at the sight of it and did not look offended, seeing himself finally managed to sell rare flowers without any clear function it easily, plus he managed to earn more money as well.

Leinn had already paid no heed to the person and walked back to the side of the girl, who was staring at the flower in her right hand.

“Ayo”

Leinn then changed the course of his steps, towards the academy.

Lilya who realized it was half-run after him so as not to be left behind.

“Hoh...?”

“Ugya?!”

The shopkeeper who was looking at the back of the young man who was away was greatly startled by the sound that turned out to be coming from the small gorilla beside him.

The little white gorilla looked confused and was trying to find something with his eyes already covered by his own sweat.

“Hoh..”.

...

The last afternoon sunlight was finally extinguished, replaced by rows and rows of lights from various buildings in the city. The tranquility of the night began to fill the entire city, successfully producing a very different atmosphere from the day before.

In one part of the street, not far from the gate of Red Dawn Academy.

“Om name glup..”

...A young man had just swallowed purple balls the size of a ping-pong ball in his mouth, then started licking his lips for the juice that accidentally wet him.

“...hm! Wine King yes, I should have bought more”

Leinn had just plucked five more balls then threw them into his mouth in one smooth motion.

“Hoh nom..”.

Basalt beside him was seen carrying a bunch of grapes while picking them one by one and eating them slowly. He felt that this was the best fruit he had ever eaten, either because it tasted so good or because the juice had managed to dissipate the heat that had burned his tongue before.

“...”

And on the other side of Leinn was Lilya, a green-haired girl who was walking while holding a strange flower pot with both hands. He had just seen Leinn remembered about the fruit shop next to the previous Magic Plant store when they had already almost reached the Academy, and he weightlessly turned around and walked back to check on her.

Lilya also saw the young man who unhesitatingly chose the most expensive fruit and gave his last bag to buy four bunches of King Wine which still had 100 purple balls filled with sweet and fresh juice.

“...glup, ah! Very tasty!”

“Hoh.!”

The first to spend one of those four was Basalt, who ate it at incredible speed before savoring the wine one after another after spending one part of it.

Leinn himself bought this for souvenirs, but it tasted too good. So after finishing one bunch of hers...

“Ah... how dear once”.

Leinn said that while plucking another one from his left hand and directly threw it into his mouth.

There was not the slightest bit of regret on his face, just a sense of satisfaction.

“...maaf”

Leinn turned to her side and looked at the girl who had not made a sound at all since they left the flower shop. He also immediately understood what the apology meant.

“That's no big deal, no need you think of”

“But..”.

“Already, you must have your own reasons”

Leinn already knew how shy the girl beside him was, who had already reached a slightly unreasonable level. Lilya is a girl who is very difficult to open herself up to strangers, something Leinn knows firsthand.

Leinn just found out the reason the girl gave him the keys to the dormitory roof was so he wouldn't have to look for her every time he wanted to relax there. It took quite a long time without a conversation for Lilya to feel comfortable, and ended up sharing her contacts for Leinn.

So seeing Lilya maintain her position in front of a stranger who showed her displeasure, was an unusual sight for Leinn.

“...this child.. needs help...”.

Lilya did not continue her explanation and simply walked over, occasionally turning to look at Leinn's reaction.

“Om name nom..”

...He was busy eating the fruit in his hands one by one, with a smile on his face.

“Why not say from earlier..”

Leinn stretched out the wine in his left hand, thinking that the girl beside him wanted to try hers.

Lilya opened her eyes very wide then shook her head quickly.

“A-me... t-no...”.

“Ah”

Leinn immediately lowered his left hand, then plucked one fruit.

“...can-Ahm!?”

And put it directly into the mouth of the girl, who instantly pecked with an expression of shock.

Leinn again mistook the meaning of the words of Lilya, which was like saying he was not able to take the grapes himself. So the solution was very easy, he just needed to get it for him.

“Enak?”

“...nom”

Lilya started to take some slow chewing without being able to process what had just happened for a while, then finally regained consciousness while swallowing the juice inside her mouth.

“glup... ya”

Leinn immediately showed a big smile after listening to it and then started walking again, following Basalt who did not realize they had stopped walking.

Lilya also still did not fully awaken and started to walk after them again, not realizing the flowers in her hand were beginning to show a different radiance.

...

The darkness of the night finally enveloped the entire academy, which became very pronounced seeing a crescent-shaped moon that barely provided natural illumination in the night sky.

Plus some of the lights in the academy had already dimmed, seeing this was the time where everyone had fallen asleep...

“Hum~”

Almost everyone.

A black-haired young man was seen sitting on one long chair that was on the edge of the park, letting him see parts of the academy easily from that height.

The smile on his face showed a clear hospitality, very different from the atmosphere that was being formed in the entire desolate garden.

Whooong...

The purple mist had filled the entire side of the garden and seemed to move at the rhythm of a heartbeat, and had great avoidance of all the plants there.

Cold, sharp, and dangerous.

What was even greater was that the young man who took all of that out was just remembering what happened to him today, he said, about the things that were of interest to him and not at all something that should have caused such a cold atmosphere at the moment.

“Haha..”.

His explorations surround a portion of the food stall standing, which results in some foods that he quite enjoys.

His meeting with Brick's group again, which seems to have been very different from a month ago.

And his meeting with Lilya, then what happened next.

“Ha..”

Leinn recalled his attempt to bribe the wine afterwards without success, seeing the girl tightly shut her mouth all the way to the academy. Leinn finally gave her 20 remaining grapes when she could not put any more in her mouth.

Lilya finally realized she could not resist and accepted it with a little heavy heart, then parted ways with Leinn at the entrance of the dormitory.

The girl had explained that the flowers in her hands would not be able to grow in an open garden like on the roof of the dorm, so she would take care of her in her room directly.

After stealing the attention of some of the students who saw Leinn's efforts from the academy's gate, they finally separated and Leinn headed straight for the dormitory roof without seeing anyone else.

“Hum~”

“Leinn...?”
