Ch. 38 – A Name

Aura stopped combing Rufus and looked towards the two of them.

The Gorilla Beast sat down waiting for an answer from Leinn who seemed to be pondering something.

“Hoh?”

Leinn realized the meaning of himself naming the Gorilla Beast in front of him. This will be a promise between the two of them, a promise to make a contract while making them both partners like himself and Clear.

His reflection did not take long, as he had already planned to make a Contract with him from the very beginning.

“Baik”

“Hoh!”

Actually he did not know how long before he could make a Contract with a Rank B+ Beast like him. He was actually not sure the Gorilla Beast would not change his mind as long as it waited for him.

With this request, the Gorilla had indirectly made sure his choice would not change.

Leinn could only return the feelings he had conveyed in seriousness.

“Starting today, you will have a name..”.

“Basalt, that's the name I chose for you”

Gorilla Beasts... Basalt seemed content to accept the name. He started doing a strange dance and walked away.

Leinn simply shook his head and went to lie not far from where Aura was sitting.

The gentle breeze felt comfortable as it swept across his face, making the atmosphere calm again like nothing had happened.

Aura combed through Rufus' fur with a grim feeling, thinking of one thing that felt strange.

Leinn turned to Aura for a moment and then lay back on the grass, closing his eyes.

Leinn nodded his head in satisfaction seeing this.

The stone landed after drifting for 5 meters, then broke into pieces and spread a thick debut into the surroundings.
