Humanity Return
Ch. 19 – Raw Lacing

The fire magic struck the Wolf Beast's body and everything around it, making the white flames engulf the Aura, Leinn and Gorilla Beast as well.

The white flame spread out in all directions from its center which had already formed a white pi tower that reached 80 meters high.

Almost all of the forest dwellers were able to sense the Mana turmoil produced by that magic.

Most of them began to move away from the source of the explosion, not wanting to look for trouble with anything that resulted in it.

“Hoh hoh hoh.

The Gorilla Beast started rolling within that sea of white flames, trying to extinguish the flames from its body.

A few seconds after that, he realized he did not feel the slightest heat, only warm.

Leinn only saw a white flame covering his gaze then began to enjoy the strange and warm sensation that was enveloping his body.

It took half a minute for the sea of fire to begin to dim, leaving the forest surface darker than before.

“Hoh...!?”

“Huh..”.

Once their eyes got used to it, they realized the lack of illumination was due to the dense foliage that blocked the sunlight.

Trees as high as 60 meters with thick green leaves and stalks that came in contact with the trees beside it filled that part of the forest.

Leinn lowered his head and found a 50-centimeter tall grass already covering his legs.

“Uh..”.

Aura fell to her feet after draining her strength and saw the big wolf in front of her sniffing her dress curiously.

The wounds all over his body had already disappeared without a trace, leaving only dried blood.

The only thing stopping him from moving freely was the poison within his body.

This Gorilla Beast was surprised to see the wolf becoming healthy again, then realized its own body that should be filled with injuries had also healed.

“Hoh...?”

“Grr” low growl comes out from the mouth of the big wolf who is trying to stand up again.

The Wolf Beast inu started walking past Aura, approaching the Gorilla Beast as he felt something restrain him.

The touch made her look back and find Aura who was hugging one of her hind legs.

“Don't fight again! You're still hurt!” yelled Aura with all her might.

The wolf just stood still and looked at the little man that was sticking to his feet.

He suddenly turned around and again lay down under the tree that was holding his body before, which now had a height of over 70 meters.

Aura felt relieved after seeing the wolf choosing not to fight, then realized that the situation was a little unreasonable.

Beasts who were able to understand human words until this clear and could choose not to attack the humans who helped him were only those who had almost broken through the limits of Rank B.

‘Rank B+ Beast?!’

Seeing that the Wolf Beast had no intention of fighting him anymore, this Gorilla Beast scratched its head and started turning its body to walk away.

Before his steps were stopped by the cries of the little creature behind him.

“I've decided!” leinn said excitedly.

The gorilla turned around and realized the human was pointing at him.

“You will be my Contracted Beast!” Leinn smiled broadly.

“Hoh?”

This Gorilla Beast showed a puzzled expression, and Aura who saw it realized the reason he could defeat the Wolf Beast beside him, even though the wolf was poisoned.

That Gorilla Beast was also a Rank B+ Beast!

“L-leinn! He is a Rank B+ Beast! He should be able to understand simple human language!” yelled Aura with all her might.

Hearing this Leinn pondered for a moment and looked back at the Gorilla Beast in front of him.

“You. Weak.”

Leinn pointed at the Gorilla Beast.

“I. Strong.”

Leinn pointed at himself.

“Follow me”

Leinn folded his hands, waiting for an answer.

“Hoh...? Hohs... Hoh...!” The gorilla was seen processing what he was talking about, then finally understood.

The Gorilla Beast started to hit his chest hard, looking offended when it found out the human in front of him considered himself stronger compared to him.

Leinn also clasped his sword in his left hand, suddenly engravings appeared and began to shine from the hilt and in an instant the sword turned into a black bracelet on his left wrist.

Aura was surprised to see the same scene as Brick's previous weapon, only this time the change was reversed.

‘The sword is also Runed Gear?’

The bham!

A powerful wave appeared when Leinn struck his left palm, ready to fight.

“Come we start!”

“Hoh!”

The Gorilla Beast launched its right fist towards his opponent who was in the air in front of him.

Leinn countered with a straight kick that used all his speed and weight.

The bham!

The Gorilla Beast floated for five meters and struck the large tree behind it, shaking it violently.

The huge trees not only became taller and densely leafy, it seemed like they had also grown stronger.

Raising his body using his right hand as a support, he started looking for Leinn.

He too late realized his opponent had already appeared beside him with a kick that was sliding into his face.

The bham!

He bounced again because of the attack, but this time he managed to jump to his feet before he stopped sliding. The Gorilla Beast immediately threw a punch to his left without looking, and there Leinn's fist met the giant fist.

Booms!

This time only Leinn bounced back 20 meters, with the Gorilla Beast already leaping high to catch up and landing right on top of his newly landed body.

Boom boom boom...!

The rain of fists began to fall down, punch after another punch continued to hit the ground in front of him.

Leinn managed to jump from the gap between his two fists and gave a hard kick to the Gorilla Beast's chin, forcing him to take five steps back.

“Hahaha..!” Leinn let out a laugh, with blood already drenched part of his face.

“Hoh hoh hoh...!” The gorilla laughed, with blood rushing from his mouth.

Boom Bham Boom's...

The sound of explosions and blows continued to form and produced wave after wave that shook the trees around them.

The aura standing 100 meters away from where they were fighting could sense it all clearly, seeing the strong wind produced made it hard to see the fight clearly.

The Wolf Beast sitting beside him had taken him away after their fight had begun.

Leinn's laughter was one thing, but the Gorilla Beast's voice sounded already contained no anger anymore.

His voice was already filled with excitement for successfully finding a strong opponent.

“HAHA!” a hard punch landed all over his upper body.

“HOH!” a hard kick landed on his stomach and chest.

The Gorilla Beast began to hit Leinn several times with its fists, and Leinn also continued to enter two-three consecutive attacks smoothly.

Some large trees also ended up falling down after several times restraining their bodies and attacks both of them.

Aura had already realized that Leinn was intending to make a Contract with that Gorilla Beast by defeating him within his strongest area, pure physical strength.

The movements were extremely rash according to Aura's gaze, but he still had trouble moving and the big wolf beside him did not let him approach the fight.

The Wolf Beast simply lay quietly without taking his eyes off the fight of the two of them.

Booms!

One of the strongest collisions that had occurred since the fight began was to thicken and separate the two of them by 20 meters, the two trees that were holding their bodies were visible until they were almost uprooted from their roots.

Leinn and the Gorilla both stood up and walked closer to each other.

“Hoh hoh hoh...” a strange laugh came out from the mouth that was already filled with his own blood.

“Hahaha...” a weak laugh came out from the mouth of the young man who had little difficulty breathing.

The laughter of the two of them showed how much fun the fight was, they enjoyed every second and exchange of his attacks.

Although the face of the Gorilla Beast had started to change color in some parts and his blood had already flowed profusely from his lips.

Leinn's condition was also not too good, most of his face was covered with blood and the edge of his lips had formed a blood flow that did not stop. The most formidable of his condition was the large bag on his back that showed absolutely no damage.

“....Hahah..”.

“HOH Hoh..”.

The two of them stopped together when they were less than eight meters away. They exchanged looks.

The Gorilla Beast suddenly smashed into his chest many times.

“Hoh hoh hoh!” he continued to do that regardless of the blood flowing out of his mouth and body.

The surrounding mana began to move according to the rhythm of his punch and two magic circles appeared on both of his large wrists.

“HOH!” with one final blow, he raised both of his hands to the sky and swung them with all his might to the ground.

The bham!

He struck the ground in front of him and pummeled that large amount of ground into the air. All the ground was seen floating in the air slowly then started to move around his two fists, then enveloped his hands and hardened, finally forming a protective glove from the ground.

“Heh...” said Leinn after seeing it all happen in front of him.

Booms!

The gorilla hit the ground with his new fist and produced a hole five meters wide.

The two chunks of black stone that looked quite terrifying had managed to cover both of the gorilla's fists, protecting as well as increasing the crushed power of his punch.
