Everyone hurried to prepare.
Mas Fariz and I were sitting next to each other in the garden in front of the house, staring at the gleaming sound of fish ponds. The sky did not look as bright as usual, the wisps of gray-colored clouds slightly closed the sky curtain. Not far from where I and Mas Fariz were sitting, it appeared that Mr. Budi, Bik Siti and several other household assistants were busy stuffing large suitcases and some items in the car. Soon Ummah came along with Wirda, followed by Abi and Enjid.
Looks like they all wear pastel-colored clothes in line with the clothes I wore with Mas Fariz.
Their parasites look sad but try to show a happy smile. Mas Fariz and I stood together toward the arrival of all of them. Where Ummah and Wirda immediately greeted me with a hug that made the atmosphere must be instantaneous. Slowly in a slow, sobbing sound Ummah began to sound soft and heart-wrenching. All were silent and unable to give a word of tranquility to Ummah's furious heart.
Occasionally, Abi's fingers rubbed the soft back of Ummah to strengthen it. Ummah looked at my face closely and landed a kiss of affection on my forehead and face, then hugged tightly.
Enjid who saw the attitude of Ummah could not hold his tongue to say, "It is still not too late put, if indeed your heart is heavy to let Fariz and Rani to stay while abroad. Then they can cancel it too this time. "
Ummah took her arms off my body, then wiped her tears dry.
"No Njid. I am strong and strong, this is just a momentary sadness for their happiness. Even if the longing in my heart is unbearable, I will visit Fariz and Rani in the near future" Ummah said firmly.
Enjid seemed to think and took a slow breath, "Yes, if that is your decision. Then do not continue to dissolve in sadness, where the departure of Fariz and Rani also fulfill your request."
Ummah nodded in understanding and forced himself to really toughen up to let go of me and Mas Fariz.
Without any more delay, we all boarded two different cars to get to the airport.
Ummah deliberately asked for a car with myself and Mas Fariz, where Ummah was sitting between the two of us. During the journey Ummah never stopped releasing his fingers from me and Mas Fariz. Ummah seemed to not want us to leave his side, but the other side of his heart Ummah wanted me and Mas Fariz to leave. There are no more tears that adorn the face of the Ummah that looks swollen and swollen, because of too much crying. I did not say much either, only the unraveling body language answered Ummah's attitude towards me.
In silence , suddenly Ummah said to Bik Siti to take care of myself as well as possible while in Egypt. Bik Siti nodded and said her willingness, which made Ummah have many messages and requests to Bik Siti.
Bik Siti smiled and listened to what Ummah said, because Bik Siti understood the unease that Ummah was feeling right now.
Mr. Budi continued to drive the car he was driving, followed by the car that Abi and Enjid boarded in the back of our car.
My eyes turned to the outside of the car window, and looked at the dark sky.
"Still in the morning. But the sky is already very dark, like it is going to rain, "label Bik Siti.
Everyone was silent and also occasionally saw the state outside the car. Mr. Budi immediately spurred the speed of his car, so we arrived at the airport before it rained.
The roar of the car engine broke the silence of the cloudy morning.
"There is no need to rush Mr. Budi, " said Mas Fariz reminded.
"Yes Nak Fariz, " said Mr. Budi.
Ummah looked a little less tense, after hearing what Mas Fariz said. Sometimes I look at the face of Ummah who also looks back at me, then throw a bitter little smile that I caught. From the look of her eyes, I felt that Ummah wanted to reveal to me that she was okay. Although it was different from his true heart.
Not long after, the car carrying myself and the rest of the Imandar family had arrived at the airport. Quickly Mas Fariz came down, followed by Bik Siti, Wirda and myself. However, I saw Ummah still sitting quietly in the car. Until I slowly rubbed Ummah's back to invite herself down with me.The face of surprise colored Ummah's face, then she looked at my face for a moment. Only a few seconds later, he came down to greet my hand.
Mr. Budi and Bik Siti helped Mas Fariz unload the suitcase and some other items. Then Abi, Enjid and the driver driving their car came together behind us all.
"Let's go in and wait inside, "take Abi while embracing Ummah's body.
Everyone immediately obeyed Abi's invitation. I also walked with Wirda who did not release his hand from my arm.Mas Fariz walked hand in hand with Enjid. Meanwhile, Mr. Budi, Bik Siti and Mr. driver pushed the suitcase and the goods I would carry with trolley.
It didn't take long for us all to be inside.
A few minutes later Mas Fariz was getting ready to head to the counter to report our departure tickets. Mas Fariz looked patiently waiting, although in front of him there was a long line of people who were also waiting in line.Once Mas Fariz threw his gaze at me who was still sitting waiting with Ummah and the others. The longer the passengers filled the room we were in. Which indicates the time of departure will arrive soon.
The atmosphere had come back, when Mas Fariz had finished reporting my departure ticket and himself. The moment where one by one from the Imandar family members gave farewell to me and Mas Fariz.Seiring the turning of the time, the, the call of the officers at the airport was increasingly echoed to remind the departure of passengers. Even the goods only stay with , while the others have passed the examination section to check the condition and weighed the weight.Done is the business of goods, the next one is a group of passengers including myself and Mas Fariz will later shuffle to go to a long room while doing a self-identity check.
Mas Fariz and I hugged Ummah again before actually entering the departure room.
"Ummah Fariz, Dek Rani and Bik Siti left first yes Ummah, " said Mas Fariz slowly and quietly.
Ummah was silent with her lips trembling. Parting with a loved one is not easy for anyone. Although the separation is only temporary but the weight of letting it go is definitely there.
Just as felt by the Ummah. Where right now his heart is so heavy to let Mas Fariz and myself go. Although all of this was a request from Ummah himself, but his heart was still so very heavy to let go. So there is sadness in his face. Which made his heart become troubled.
"Why Ummah, why is Ummah silent?" asked Mas Fariz.
While trying to hide his sadness and fear, slowly fingers Ummah patted gently on Mas Fariz's cheeks. He closed his eyes slowly. Ummah surrenders to the Power of Allah because He is the Most Determining. Taqdir travels the affairs of God, in the heart of Ummah praying for Mas Fariz and myself to be given safety and ease to the destination.
Ummah opened his eyes slowly then looked at Mas Fariz face attached then hugged him tightly and took turns hugging me. All the families looked on with gazes full of bitterness. No more words said much, only tears of farewell and the chanting of do'a that accompanied the departure of me and Mas Fariz. The boarding calls for passengers to enter the aircraft are repeated.
With a heavy heart and a feeling of sadness, Ummah finally let go of his embrace of me as well as Mas Fariz. Then kissed my forehead and Mas Fariz took turns.
Mas Fariz and I smiled, looking at Ummah's face so deeply at us. Slowly the fingers of Ummah and myself were released, with my footsteps and Mas Fariz starting to move away from Ummah and all the family.
Mas Fariz, myself and Bik Siti stopped for a moment to look once again at all the family members, waving from a distance.
The sadness came back, even in my heart. Mas Fariz clasped my fingers gently, to immediately step inside the departure hall.
Huft.
I sighed softly while looking at the faces of Mas Fariz and Bik Siti.
"Allaahumma hawwin ‘alainaa safaranaa hadzaa wathwi ‘annaa bu’dahu allaahumma anta ashshoohibu fissafari walkholiifatu fil-ahl. O Allah, ease our departure, and draw near to its remoteness. O Allah who accompanies us in traveling, and You also protect us and our families, "said Mas Fariz slowly before stepping his feet again.
" Aamiin ya robbal'alamiin, "sahutku and Bik Siti together.
Me, Mas Fariz and Bik Siti stepped inside the plane.
Meanwhile, Ummah hugged Wirda looking at the departure of myself, Mas Fariz and Bik Siti from a distance who eventually disappeared away from the sight of everyone.
After completing the self-identity check . Me, Bik Siti and Mas Fariz immediately got into the plane looking for our seats.
Mas Fariz invited Bik Siti and myself to sit first, after which only Mas Fariz sat down. While putting up the safety belt Mas Fariz read the do'a back solemnly and quietly, where myself and Bik Siti followed him.
"Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Subhanalladzi sakkhoro lana hadza wa maa kunnaa lahu muqrinin, wa innaa ilaa robbinaa lamunqolibun, allahumma inna nas’aluka fii safarinaa hadzal birro wat taqwa wa minal ‘amal maa tardho, allahumma hawwin ‘alaina safarona hadza wa athwi ‘annaa bu’dahu, allahumma antas shohibu fis safari wal kholifatu expert fil, allahumma inni a’udzubika min wa’tsaais safari wa kaabatil mandzhori wa suuil munqolibi fil maali wal expert.
Allah is Great, Allah is Great, Allah is Great. Most holy is Allah who has subdued this (plane) for us, whereas before we were unable to master it, and indeed it is to Allah that we return. O Allah, indeed we ask for good and fear in this journey, we ask for what You have done. O Allah, make this journey easy, and draw the distance for us. O Allah, You are my companion in traveling and taking care of the family. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from exhaustion in travel, sorrowful scenery and poor return in property and family.Aamijn ya robbal'alamiin. "
The plane we were on started flying.
Bresss..
Heavy rain fell instantly with a thick roar of rumbling sounds of thunder. Ummah and the others were still sitting looking at the aircraft we were flying up into the sky through the heavy rain.
Abi continued to wipe the back of the soft Ummah who kept shedding tears.
The airport witnessed Ummah's farewell with myself and Mas Fariz.
