The first shot missed. Not only misses the target circle but also the target object itself.
Lisle still shot again for a few more times and only once hit the edge of the target. He turned to Kennard wanting to see the man's reaction.
Shooting is not as easy as it looks. Lisle felt her entire body stiff from being too tense.
Kennard walked over and stood behind Lisle. Their bodies clung tightly until Lisle felt her breathing become congested all of a sudden. The man's face was close next to her and resting on Lisle's shoulder. Kennard pointed the weapon in Lisle's hand at the target.
"Don't tense. Arrange your breath. Focus on the target" Kennard said in the girl's ear.
Lisle tried desperately to follow those instructions as it was not easy to concentrate with that warm sturdy body encircling her body. His hand was in the man's hand.
"Then shoot." Kennard pulled the trigger.
Bullets shot at a speed of at least 300 meters per second towards the target at the other end.
Lisle's eyes widened towards the target. It turned out that their shot hit the midpoint.
"Waaah, great!" exclamation Lisle. His praise was unconsciously given. He turned to Kennard who was still next to him. A kiss greeted him.
Lisle's cheers are silenced.
Lisle still continued a few more training sessions. When Kennard told Andra to accompany his wife to practice, Lisle protested. He didn't like the girl. He was just jealous of the ability he had. But Kennard paid no heed to the protests and left Lisle and Andra at the shooting range.
Lisle wants to be tough with Andra. But she's not that kind of girl. He's the kind of person who cares about other people's feelings. He remained friendly to Andra despite being less talkative.
Every time Andra gave an example or reprimanded her for a mistake, Lisle quietly held back her frustration. Then the shooting became more and more unguided. The practice time was not over when he removed the headphones from his head and put down his gun.
"I want to rest" said Lisle then left Andra who looked confused.
Andra wanted to say that the practice time was not over and Lisle had to mean it because their time was very limited. But how dare he protest when his boss' wife left with a look of annoyance. He did not understand what he had done wrong until the young mistress was recently seen trying to get away from him.
Kennard, who later received a report from Andra, did not comment. He was discussing a few things with Lucas, the head of training in a large workspace. As soon as Andra left, Kennard ended the meeting and returned home to rest.
In the room he found his wife had perfumed in a simple beige dress. The girl had already taken a shower even though it was still not afternoon. Kennard approached Lisle who was combing her hair while sitting in front of the dressing table. His face showed no sign of anything that upset him.
"Have you stopped training? Is there any progress?" Kennard bowed to his wife's body, smelling her hair filled with the scent of shampoo.
"My hands are so sore. It hurts so much. Maybe tomorrow will continue." Lisle responded with a complaint. Actually, he also wanted to complain about something else.
"Hm, fine. Tomorrow go back to training with Andra. I have a little business with the others." Kennard did not force his wife to continue her usual training if the girl began to complain.
"I don't want to be accompanied by Andra" Lisle protested.
Kennard furrowed his brows. Wonder. "Why? You don't like her? I see you've been good friends."
"Then?"
"I…." Lisle didn't know what to say. "I don't want him to accompany me. I'd rather you teach me."
Lisle felt like she had spoken wrongly. Normally, he would choose Andra as coach. Kennard can be very violent if he is already in training. He seemed to not care that the person he was training was his own wife.
"really?" Kennard watched his wife's face in the mirror. He knew Lisle was lying. "Don't lie to me. I know you're jealous of that girl."
"Where might I be jealous. She's…." Lisle hastily denied.
"She's pretty. Sexy. She's a great girl, too…." Kennard said some of the compliments aroused his wife's annoyance.
"Then why don't you just marry her?" Lisle removed Kennard's arm from his shoulder and got up from sitting. He climbed onto the bed and pulled the blanket over his entire body to his head. His feelings that had already improved became chaotic again.
Kennard became amused himself. Some days he was deliberately provoking his wife's jealousy and it turned out his efforts were successful. He just wanted to make Lisle more excited by giving him a rival. It's just that he didn't find the right person. Andra's ability was far above his wife who had just started training. Hence he was quite surprised when Lisle managed to make Andra fall in the training fight yesterday.
It turns out that a woman's jealousy can be a very frightening force. Kennard promised to remember that.
"There are many beautiful and great girls like Andra. I can't marry everyone, right? I don't like it anyway." Kennard went up to the bed, pulled the blanket that covered Lisle's head." I just like you."
It felt as if Lisle's heart melted. Of course Kennard just likes it. Otherwise, she might marry him. But Lisle was sulking. He pulled the blanket Kennard had dropped on his shoulder.
Kennard pulled the blanket back. "It's too late to sleep. How about we take a walk?"
Lisle. "I'm tired. I don't want to go anywhere."
"Hm, are you really jealous?" Kennard hugged his wife from behind.
Lisle did not answer. She was ashamed to admit it.
"An uncle took the girl when she was five years old from an orphanage. Both of his parents are unknown. Since my uncle was a military man, he trained the girl in martial arts since childhood. Then something happened that left his uncle and wife dead. Andra came to training and said she wanted to join." Kennard tells the story of Andra's past.
"He was only eighteen at the time and was filled with vengeance. He asked me to help him find the perpetrators of the murders of his adoptive parents. In return, he swore allegiance to me for the rest of his life."
Lisle shuddered at the story and felt sorry for Andra. A girl as young as that already holds a deadly grudge. "Did you find your uncle's killer?" ask Lisle curiously.
"of course. What can't your husband find if he wants to find?" kennard said as he tightened his embrace. His wife's body was so warm and soft.
"Then?"
"He killed the killer himself. With his hands." Kennard didn't want to tell me the details. Lisle could be nauseous hearing it.
Lisle was silent for a moment. Suddenly he felt a slight resemblance of fate to Andra. They both have no parents. But Andra lost twice and it was very painful. Then he remembered something.
"Ken, you said you could find anything. Can you find someone for me?"
