Chapter 21. Vacationing (2)

Why does he like to bother me so much? Lisle reluctantly took off her bathrobe upon hearing Kennard's words which caught her off guard. Kennard's eyes that can not be separated from it then make Lisle become more embarrassed. His hands crossed in front of his chest as if doing so would make himself invisible.

Kennard was still fixated on the scene in front of him, Lisle in a pink skimp. His short skirt that only covered his hips twitched in the sea breeze. Not only does she look sexy, but she is cute and funny. Especially with the pose of shame that, make Kennard can not bear to not close his mouth.

“I am thinking of extending this holiday,” he said as he moved closer. He held out his hand to grab the girl.

“Ja... don't get close!” Lisle shook his head gesturing for Kennard not to go any further. He moved backwards on the edge of the pool. It was inconceivable if he had to come into contact with the naked skin of the man.

“Hm, the water is deep enough. You dare to go into the pool by yourself without being held?” ask Kennard.

“I...” Lisle looked hesitant. His eyes looked back at the clear water of the pond, trying to figure out its depth.

Kennard suddenly jumped into the pool, causing a splash of water to be around. Lisle's body was a little wet from it. The man swam to the end of the pool and turned to dive then arrived at the surface of the pool near Lisle's feet. “Come down!” his orders.

Lisle looked at the pool water as tall as the man's neck. When he goes down to the pool, he will drown because of his lower height.

“Do not argue anymore!” Kennard reminded him of seeing Lisle who was still reluctant.

“But the water is in..”.

“I'll hold you.”

Lisle finally resigned, nervously entering the pool water. Kennard immediately welcomed holding his hand. But out of fear of drowning, Lisle grabbed the man's shoulder and hugged him tightly. Their faces are facing. Real close. Kennard looked a mischievous smile.

That smile made Lisle nervous. Moreover, their position so close surprised him. He subconsciously released his hand, making it difficult to stabilize himself. He sank into the water immediately.

“Basic stupid girl! Why removable?!” Kennard's voice rang out as Lisle's body returned to the surface. The man carried her out of the water.

Lisle was still choking on the water that went into her mouth and nose earlier. His face was flushed and his tears were mixed with the pool water. He hugged Kennard's neck tightly with a tremble. Sinking for a moment made him not dare to release his hand again from Kennard's body.

“I want to ride. I don't want to learn to swim...” I heard Lisle's worried.

“Hm, so you chose to swim in the room?” Kennard reminded Lisle of the choices given.

Lisle's eyes were wide. He didn't think Kennard still insisted on teaching him to swim.”Ba. good. Swimming in water..”.

After a tiring process, Lisle finally began to dare little by little to take her hand off Kennard. Painstakingly moving his hands and feet kept himself on the surface for a while.

The water was not as deep as he thought. As Lisle tried to stand properly in the water, her height only reached her neck. And when he noticed Kennard, the water only reached half his arm. How could he have thought the water was as high as the man's neck? Maybe he saw it wrong?

“Why look at me like that? Did you realize I was so handsome?” Kennard teased her again.

Although inevitably the words caused a red tinge on her cheeks, Lisle said as well, “I thought the water was deeper?”

Lisle saw Kennard slowly moving down in the water. Now the surface of the water reached his neck.

 “Gosh! You... you tricked me!” Lisle shouted in annoyance. He remembered how he felt panicked when his feet touched the water. Then out of shock suddenly took off his grip on the man and sank for a while. At that time he was so dependent on Kennard's help.

Lisle immediately turned towards the edge of the pool. He no longer wanted to be there and be Kennard's laughing stock, but his hand was suddenly pulled and his body was now in the man's arms.

“Holled?” kennard whispers in Lisle's ear.

The girl had already opened her mouth about to say something but her lips had been silenced with a kiss. I just heard murmurs and complaints. This guy always used every chance to kiss her!

Lisle ate while looking down at the plate in front of her. Not once did he try to glance at Kennard opposite him. He was still irritated by the incident at the pool. You can take advantage of his weakness!

He was very skilled at cooking in the kitchen. Lisle just watched without making a sound. Occasionally his hand moved to pick up the materials or goods needed when Kennard ruled. I don't know what she's cooking.

Lisle's lips were still unceasingly bent. But he could not hide his admiration at Kennard's movements while slicing onions and vegetables. When the man put in the meat and vegetables and sprinkled herbs, he did not seem awkward at all. Then in the not-too-distant future the fragrant aroma of soup poured out in the air of the room.

Kennard's phone is ringing. Kennard grabbed the object located on the table beside him and listened.

“I heard you were on vacation. Why not take us?” Nathan's voice pierced Kennard's hearing.

“I don't want to be bothered,” Kennard said with a furrowed eyebrow. He heard a faint rumbling sound.“ Besides, my girl is very shy.”

Kennard looked at Lisle in front of him who was pushing his dinner plate. The girl stood up after taking a quick glance at it then tidied up all the tableware.

“We thought. You're hiding a girl. Wh who? What is an artist? Entrepreneur's daughter? Ah, no need to say. We will know it soon.” There was a sly tone in Nathan's voice.

“Do not try to show your face here!” Kennard could guess what his best friend meant. He just didn't want Lisle to be the three men's moons. They are very compact if they start nosy. Now he seems to have been the target of their evil.

“How, yes? David and Benjamin have gone up the helpline. I hung up on him. We'll be there soon!” Nathan ended the call with a louder voice as it clashed with the roar of the propeller round.

“Damn, they!” Kennard clasped his phone tightly close to making it crumble. Sometimes he doesn't understand how the three of them can have the same madness. They were the main heirs of the three influential families in the Black Mountains. Three out of five families share power. People know them as young masters who successfully manage a family business, respectable and respected. In front of Kennard they were even childish.

Lisle in front looked at her with a questioning look as soon as she heard Kennard's curse.

“In the near future we will have guests, my friends. They're kind of crazy, but they're actually pretty good. Their mouths cannot be silent. You go back to the room first. I'll introduce them tomorrow.” Kennard got up from his seat and left the dining room.
