“Master, you...” Lisle didn't think Kennard was in the car that picked him up.
“What should always be reminded not to call me by the name of sir?” Kennard leaned on the girl who had just gotten into the car, making the girl shuffle away.
The car moved slowly through the still crowded traffic.
“From?” Kennard's orders.
Today for most of the day he hadn't seen Lisle. After parting ways at the port, he thought it would be fine if this girl went to work because she also had some business to settle. But when he saw Aaron's disgusting face, Kennard remembered Lisle. You can imagine this girl's fear at the hotel. Kennard's anger keeps him from letting Aaron's life end so easily.
Kennard almost laughed remembering. Aaron squirms in the backyard with his back straight and eyes defiant. The man looked down at the weapon in Kennard's hand as if it wouldn't hurt him much less kill him.
It's just that Aaron became deaf to his hearing or became indifferent to the noises around. Didn't he hear a lot of dog barking from a big cage behind him? Is it possible that Kennard had Hans drag him into the backyard for no reason?
When Kennard aimed the soundproofed weapon at the target, a cage lock behind Aaron, the man was still unaware of the most terrifying thing that was about to happen to him. Then when he saw Kennard's vile smile and the commotion behind him, he looked away. There was a terrible scream as the five large dogs that had been starved stormed towards Aaron.
The girl who became the base of the problem, which caused many deaths, which made Kennard not hesitate to show his cruelty, this girl instead curled up at the end of the car seat, away from Kennard's reach.
“From!” Kennard's birthday was a little upset. Maybe this girl will faint if she sees how Aaron's body is ripped apart.
“No. I'm just here.” Lisle. It looks funny to Kennard.
“Do not until I repeat it again.” Kennard said in a commanding tone that is hard to refute.
Eventually Lisle shifts her seat reluctantly but not close enough as Kennard wishes. Impatiently the man pulled Lisle's tiny body into his lap. Not yet had the girl realized what had happened, a powerful kiss ensnared her in the shackles of emptiness. He can't think.
It was a long time until the kiss ended. Lisle even thought he would die of oxygen. But as his lungs dried up from the air, Kennard removed them. The man was amused to see Lisle gasping for air.
“Have kissed several times but still do not know how to breathe.” Kennard tidied up Lisle's disheveled hair.
Lisle rebelled about to break away from Kennard, but the man tightened his embrace.
“I'm very tired,” Kennard said. He closed his eyes while putting the girl's face on his chest.
After finishing his business at the villa, Kennard went straight to the office. He spent the rest of his days there and had not returned home to the Palm Garden until recently. When she realizes that Lisle's clock is coming home, Kennard asks the driver to pick her up.
Eventually Lisle could only shut up and close her eyes. He also felt very tired. I don't know why Colud's cafe no longer makes him comfortable working.
Until some time they fell silent in such a position, Lisle curled up in Kennard's lap. Both are as asleep. The driver only once glanced, but in his heart was astonished. It's not like usual. Mr. Kent is getting weird.
As Mr. Kent's personal driver, William often witnessed many things that could happen in the backseat if his master was with a woman. Sometimes he wears headphones to focus on driving. But this time his master just hugged the girl while closing his eyes and both of them looked perfectly fitting in such a position.
The trip to Palm Garden usually takes thirty minutes more. This time it took William almost an hour to get there. He took a detour and slightly slowed down the pace of his car just to give the two a chance to take a nap. It seemed that his master was comfortable with such a position.
When the car had arrived at its destination, Kennard opened his eyes. It was Lisle who fell asleep.
“You go!” He told William who was still sitting in front of the steering wheel.
After William left, Kennard still let Lisle sleep for a while. The girl finally awakens and finds herself still in Kennard's arms. He blinked a few times then intended to descend from the lap of the man.
“You can continue your sleep here if you like.” Kennard looked down, kissed Lisle's hair.
The girl blushed. “No. I'm going to sleep inside.”
“I don't mind, kok,” Kennard said again. Now his long fingers traced Lisle's face. His look seemed full of desire.
Lisle panicked instantly. At that moment his phone rang.
Kennard took off his embrace reluctantly and let the girl down looking for her phone in the bag with trembling hands. All the behavior of the girl was not one escaped Kennard's observation.
“Hallo? Celine...”.
Celine grumbled at the end of the connection. “Why do you sound so surprised? Am I bothering you? Did something happen? You turned off your phone, huh? I called you a hundred times, sent you dozens of messages but none of you responded. You want to make me die of anxiety, huh?
Lisle swallowed. He did indeed turn off his phone intentionally for a few days to avoid the phone from Celine. Back home he turned on his phone and had not seen a long list of calls from Celine.
“I'm very busy, Celine. And my phone was also a little problematic so I turned it off all of you..” Lisle felt guilty for lying. As he lifted his face, Kennard seemed to smile mockingly at her, making Lisle embarrassed.
“Just throw away your fucking phone if it can't be used.” Celine sounded annoyed.
“Celine, sorry. Actually I'm home.... I mean, I'm back from Glassville.”.
“You mean?”
“I.. I met a relative. Just distant relatives but then we became quite close. They also live in Black Mountain. Right now I live with them..”.
“You sure they're your relatives?” Celine sounded in disbelief. Are there not just people who claim to be relatives or acquaintances who are forgotten from the past just to take advantage?
Lisle nodded strongly despite knowing that her best friend would not see her. “I'm very sure.”
“Good. So when are you going back to college?” ask Celine.
“Maybe tomorrow.”
“Really? Then come early in the morning so that we can have a lot of time to talk,” said Celine half daydreaming.
“I'll stop by the apartment first to pick up my college books.” Lisle.
“It's good! You have to really get up early,” Celine said. “Then see you tomorrow morning.” Celine ended the conversation.
“Iya. See you tomorrow. Uh, Celine...”.
“Hm?”
“I miss you.” Lisle suddenly felt very eager to hug her best friend.
“I also miss you.” Celine laughs. “Already. I'm sleepy. You go to bed quickly so as not to bad luck tomorrow.”
Then the connection ended. Lisle was still sticking her phone in her ear for a while when Kennard opened the car door from the outside. He did not see the man get out of the car.
“Come, down!” Kennard looked impatient.
Lisle put her phone in the bag and rushed out of the car. Kennard steps into the house. Thomas, who greeted them in the living room, offered something but Kennard refused. They are both tired. As soon as they arrived on the floor of the room, Lisle recalled something and turned to look at Kennard.
“I'll stop working at cafe.” Lisle looked sad when she said that.
