Lover Forced The Ruler

Lover Forced The Ruler
Chapter 8. Making Mr. Lost Patience

Kennard took a sweet sip from the girl's lips slowly. There was a slight surprised response from the girl's body movements that reflexes were about to resist. But the strong embrace of the man on his waist shackled Lisle in a fragile position.

The girl almost closed her eyes momentarily lulled with the foreign passion as Kennard who wanted more lured Lisle into lap. The girl suddenly rebelled in panic.

Just then the car stopped. Steve told me without looking. “ Sir, it's up.”

Lisle who escaped from Kennard's embrace hastily opened the car door and fled without having a chance to be prevented. Kennard was stunned for a moment as if he could not believe that the girl in his grasp had suddenly disappeared. He laughed at himself with annoyance.

“We go home. I'm not appetite,” orders are cold.

His master's voice that was almost without pressure actually made Steve goosebumps. Perhaps this time the fairy lady had made her master lose his temper.

At the other end they watched the girl haul off a taxi and rush to open the door. The car passed under Kennard's sharp gaze. The man was deep in his mind.

In the taxi, Lisle repeatedly rubbed her tears violently. He was both ashamed and angry with himself. It could have given the man a chance to kiss him again. He looked at it for a moment, he liked the treatment. Kennard Kent is a stranger. They have only met twice. And even though the man looked perfect in any way but not necessarily Lisle could let him touch her carelessly like a woman without self-esteem.

Who exactly was that man who felt he could have anything he wanted?

“Nona...” The taxi driver disentangled his emotional daydream. The car stopped in front of the apartment he rented.

Once again Lisle shrank the corner of her eyes that were flushed red because all along the way kept crying. He paid and rushed into the rusty-looking building.

Lisle rarely takes a taxi. He more often walk when the destination is not too far away. Occasionally take a bus if you need to arrive faster or the distance is quite far. He's very irritable.

Like now, Lisle felt her stomach ache. Once you enter the apartment and check the contents of the kitchen cabinet, there is nothing in it. Despite her chaotic feelings, she still had the urge to eat. But since there was nothing that could become her stomach bulging, Lisle ended up just filling her stomach with cold water.

After taking a bath and changing clothes, Lisle threw herself in her cramped bed. The shadow of events these few days alternately unsettling.

Lisle woke up earlier than usual. But Celine was already in the kitchen. He was preparing a simple but unkempt breakfast to make Lisle swallow. He simply filled his water bottle silently and did not reprimand the girl who was making drinks with the sound of a clinking spoon clashing against the glass. He was reluctant to be seen entering the kitchen and was caught not eating breakfast.

“Sneaking like a thief, do you think I don't see?” Celine turned around with two steaming glasses in hand. “Breakfast first!” She poured a glass of hot milk into Lisle's hands.

Lisle just grimaced. Feeling ashamed and sad. He received the glass with eyes that began to fog.

“Sit. I made breakfast. You eat fast.” Celine shifts a plate of breakfast. There's eggs and baked potatoes.

It wasn't once Celine's two caught her best friend skipping the morning without swallowing anything. Sometimes he doesn't understand how the girl gets through her day on an empty stomach. But one thing he understood, Lisle's salary is not how much from working in a cafe does not cover the needs of his life for a month.

“You?” lisle asked to see Celine just sitting opposite him paying attention.

“I've eaten.” Celine sipped her drink.

Lisle was doubtful. His hands did not move on food.

“Quiet. I'm not that good, let myself starve and give his only breakfast to his friend.” Celine seemed to understand Lisle's head.

One day I will repay your kindness, Celine....

They went to college together. It was early morning and the class time was long. The two walked around casually while continuing to joke around occasionally. Despite living in the same room, they rarely had a chance to talk. After college, both will be busy with their respective jobs. Celine's coming home by midnight. And Lisle who came home early would fall asleep first. They only met in the morning like this.

“Have you heard about Sally and her friend?” celine suddenly said as if she had just remembered.

Lisle shook her head without interest. Hearing the name is said to remind him of the incident three days ago, evoking again his uncomfortable feelings.

“Both issued campus party.” Celine sounded pleased with the news she had delivered.

Lisle's steps stopped. “Ejected? Why?” It's only fitting that he hasn't seen Sally and her friend on campus since that night.

“There are reports to the police that both are involved in human trafficking..”

“Who reported?”

Celine put her shoulders down. “How I know. But I was satisfied because they finally got their reply.”

Both of them momentarily quiet.

“How do you work in the cafe?” celine asked suddenly. Lisle was worried in case the Cloud cafe closed one day and she would lose her job.

“Ah, the..” Lisle remembered the brochure with her face there. There was a sudden rush of shame. Luckily Celine didn't notice. “Yesterday we shared a brochure..”.

“O yes?”

Lisle nodded. “I hope today there is a change...”.

“At least you guys have tried.” Celine entertaining. “Excite!”

Floor 81, the top floor of Diamond Group office building.

Kennard played a golden ballpoint between his fingers. In the morning, he arrived at the office. Not because I was too excited today. It's just that his eyes can barely be closed all night.

The security guard at the gate looked surprised when he found the president's car as the first car to touch the parking floor. He looked nervous as he saluted as the car passed by. His mind suspected the possibility of something urgent had happened so the boss arrived early in the morning.

Kennard drives his own car. From the apartment he contacted his assistant to gather some information for him. The secretary who used to sit sweetly in front of the door of the room had not yet come. Kennard walked into his spacious office and turned on his computer. Steve's email has come in.

Kennard had to settle his curiosity about the girl if he didn't want his mind to be messed up all day. There is a busy schedule for the weekend. And the next week he had to be in Canada for a cooperation contract. There's no more time.

Yesterday he didn't want to investigate about the girl because he was going to find out in person. But seeing the development that never improved he became impatient. It shouldn't be this hard. He wanted all the information about Lisle. Everything to the most trivial thing. Perhaps he would give the girl a little lesson in order to understand who the man she had rejected was.
