Lisle observed the beautiful dresses that were perfectly displayed from behind the glass outside the shop. There are well-known brand labels listed there. The price must be very expensive. A beautiful girl seemed to whine at her partner while wriggling spoiled in the man's arm. She pointed towards a dress and moved closer.
Lisle smiled to herself. Not feeling the slightest envy even after that she saw the girl greedily take some dresses and bring them to the dressing room. He tried it one-on-one. Each time he went outside to show his appearance in front of the man, asking for his opinion. It did not take long when the cashier swiped a card and gave the bags containing the dresses.
What can't Kennard give her? Lisle just didn't want to get used to it all then felt miserable while losing.
After all, she never thought of buying an expensive dress for him. In Palm Garden, her bedroom closet is full of new dresses from various famous brands. He was reluctant to wear it because he did not want to attract attention.
A faint smile adorned the corner of Lisle's lips. He continued to step among the refrigerated shops within the mall. Her dress was just a simple dress that she bought cheaply but she felt comfortable with it, no need to worry about it would attract the envious feeling of someone.
Today after college he's lazy to come back. His feelings also became a bit chaotic when he heard the conversation in a classroom he passed earlier. He recognized her as the voice of Shopia. Who is the girl in question in their conversation? Is she?
Usually times like this he would rush towards the Cloud cafe and spend the rest of the day working there. He also planned to stop there even to quit his job. But his feelings became uncomfortable and he just walked aimlessly through many buildings. His feet had become sore but he barely felt. While crossing a towering building, Lisle looked up. Diamond Group!
Isn't that Mr Kent's corporate office? Lisle's eyes narrowed. Uh, as arrogant as the owner.
Not far from the building, Lisle just realized it had arrived at a mall. As hypnotized, Lisle finally deflected a step towards it.
Cellphone ringing. Lisle grabbed the flat object from inside the bag and saw the name 'Kennard' on the screen. His stomach feels heartburn.
"Where?" A pressure-filled voice without further ado was immediately heard.
"I.. in the mall...." Lisle gulped trying to wet her suddenly dry throat.
"Searching for something?" ask Kennard again.
"No. Just walk. I don't think anyone can...."
"Buy something you like. Didn't I give you a card. Why don't you try using it?"
"Maybe next time. I'm going home...." Lisle. I don't think of anything he wants.
There was a grim mutter across the street. "Then go home now. Lunch soon."
Phone turned off. Lisle was silent for a moment before stepping to find a way out. Just as he was passing through a row of shoe and bag shops, he heard the sound of some girls giggling while talking about something.
"I told you Shopia, he's nobody. You should be ashamed to be jealous of that village girl. Look now, is it worth her to drive around the mall in such clothes?"
Lisle took a quick look. There were three girls with fashionable looks standing behind him. Lisle recognizes her as Shopia and her friends. Not intending to respond to their clearly condescending chatter, Lisle continued on. But Shopia caught up and confronted him ahead.
"Hey, you!" Shopia suddenly pushed onto Lisle's shoulder.
Lisle didn't think that Shopia was so eager to cause trouble with him. He thought they were just girls with mouths full of poison.
"Why push me?" However Lisle did not have any problems with the three. If Shopia was jealous because Ralph had spoken to her, but wouldn't Ralph be able to talk to anyone? Is the girl going to go berserk on all the girls who talk to the guy?
"I want to warn you. Do not try to approach Ralph or just hope to be close to him. If I see you talking to her for any reason, don't blame me if anything happens to you. You won't know what bad things I can do to you." Shopia pointed at Lisle's face.
Kennard wouldn't let anything happen to his, would he? About hope, even for college it feels now Lisle began to be reluctant. He felt he had nothing to fight for.
"Hey, stupid. You hear no?!" This time Shopia pushed Lisle's head, jerking the girl's daydream.
Lisle just smiled wryly. "I heard," he said without pressure. "Is there nothing more to talk about?"
The three girls looked. Lisle's response wasn't what they expected.
"Then I'll go first." Lisle intends to leave. At that moment there was a roaring sound from behind him and then a hand pulled his hair from behind.
"Aakhs!" Lisle was suffocating in pain. His scalp is painful.
"Miss!!!" A worried voice suddenly sounded. A well-dressed young man rushed to the place.
Steve?! Lisle tried to remove her hair from Shopia's hand, but the girl kept her grip. Lisle's tears welled up to endure the pain.
"What are you doing? Release!" Steve pulls Shopia's hand, releasing the girl's grip on Lisle's hair. He held the girl's delicate hand violently until it caused a reddish mark on her white skin.
"Who are you? Don't interfere in our affairs!" Shopia shouted furiously.
"Miss, are you okay?" Steve looked worriedly at Lisle. He ignored Shopia who was shouting like a madman.
Lisle held onto her hair while biting her lips. There was a puddle in his glistening eyes. “I'm fine,” he said with a vibrating voice. “Take me home...”
“But...” Steve was about to say that the girl who had attacked Lisle should be taught a lesson. Her master wouldn't be happy to hear this girl being hurt and humiliated in public like this.
“It's okay. Let it. I just want to go home right now..” Lisle seemed to understand Steve's thoughts.
Steve had seen various types of girls who were close to his master. Most of them are arrogant. He did not know whether this girl who even lived in his master's house was very humble or underestimated the relationship with his master.
“You guys don't pretend you didn't hear!” Shopia pursues the time Lisle intends to leave the place. He blocked Lisle's steps until it caught the attention of the visitors who happened to pass there.
Steve stepped forward. He didn't want Lisle to be attacked a second time. Maybe you'll blame him for not being able to protect this girl.
“I warn, Miss. Don't look for us. Miss Lisle has been generous not to dispute Miss's actions. But if Miss insists on continuing this madness, I will call the security section of this building.” Steve became furious seeing this self-didn't-knowing girl.
“Ha, who are you to dare threaten me? I'm Shopia, daughter of the Harfey family..”.
Steve pressed a number on his phone and spoke. “Mr Armand, I'm on the 3rd floor of the mall. A visitor made a ruckus with a close person to Mr. Kent. You should call the security section if you do not want any more serious problems.”
Shopia's fiery words are cut short by Steve's conversation with someone on a cell phone.
