Lisle still felt dizzy as she was woken up and brought down to the basement floor of the warehouse. He saw several people standing guard at the front and back doors of the warehouse with guns in hand. Mr. Adolf clutched Lisle's arm with one arm and one hand again holding a gun, while a man named Tony stood by their side. Both of them looked tense with their eyes staring straight at the entrance.
Who are they waiting for? Lisle wondered in her heart. No way Mr. Kent, right? And the man did not want him anymore. How did he come today?
“You're sure he's alone coming?” adolf asked the man next to him.
“My people are watching him. He's just alone. I think he's pretty brave too.” Tony answered without looking. He had already heard about this man called Mr. Kent. But for someone who has been in the criminal world for a long time, nothing can scare him enough. Power may be owned by someone, but if a bullet just lodged in the head it will disappear all.
“You've made sure our escape path is safe enough?” Adolf asked back. He is really tense. Mr. Kent is feared not without reason. He is not only powerful and rich, but he is also famous for his cruelty.
“Can you stop asking? You just make me tense. I'm experienced enough for things like this.” Tony looked upset. According to him, Adolf became very chatty even in times when he needed extra concentration.
Adolf finally shut his mouth. However his hand strengthened his check on Lisle's arm. He knew this girl was special but still didn't think that the untouchable Mr. Kent would come alone to make up for her. Then why did this girl repeatedly say that this lover would not come? Is he worried about the man's safety?
“Have come!” Someone told me loud. Along with him came the sound of a car engine that stopped outside the warehouse.
Everyone looked prepared and their eyes barely flickered leading to the entrance.
Lisle raised her gaze that had just kept her head down on the warehouse floor. He wanted to know who was coming. His heart is pounding. If it wasn't Mr Kent then who would have taken the trouble to bet his life came for him? He had no shadow of that person.
There were no footsteps when someone walked in. His body was towering in a black jacket and pants. Part of his handsome face was covered in the shadow of the black hat he was wearing. His cold expression became not too obvious. In his left hand was a heavy black suitcase.
Lisle issued a stifled cry. Although the face of the person was not clearly visible, especially from a considerable distance like this, but his stature and some facial lines were recognized. Mr Kent!
“Master?!” Lisle's eyes instantly condensed. It turns out that the man still cares about her.
Kennard only took a quick glance but did not turn his gaze to the two people next to Lisle.
“Check did he carry a weapon?” Tony's ruling someone out.
Someone approached Kennard and checked. He found a weapon tucked in the man's waist and held it up in the air as a signal he got it.
“Maybe Mister can show you the contents of his bag.” Adolf is now speaking. He was already impatient to want to see the promised money but also did not want to believe it just like that.
Kennard removed the suitcase lock and opened without saying anything. Looks like a pile of banknotes filled the inside of the bag. Adolf gulped as soon as he saw it.
Kennard's eyes narrowed. It is not a fair method of exchange. The kidnapper could have taken the prisoner with him or killed him after getting the money. But of course he was on the side that could not bargain. So Kennard threw the suitcase to the warehouse floor and walked back a few steps. A boy from the kidnappers approached and took the suitcase and brought it to Tony who was greeted by the man with a sneaky grin.
Tony and Adolf with Lisle still in his grip rushed backwards towards the back door. Five of his men were escorted while still pointing their guns at Kennard. The whole thing almost reached freedom when Tony let out a long scream. A bullet lodged right in the middle of his forehead without knowing who had opened fire. The man collapsed after making a choking sound. Blood flows from the bullet hole.
Meanwhile, someone who came from the top floor threw a gun at Kennard who immediately greeted the man and directed him to Adolf who was still very surprised by the death of Tony. The man who was still holding Lisle did not even have time to know who had shot when he finally collapsed to the floor following his partner. While Lisle was seen screaming for the umpteenth time as the bodies of the kidnappers fell around him in a pool of concentrated blood.
Kennard pulls Lisle from the pool of blood around her, dragging the girl away from the bodies of the kidnappers.
A man with a gun in hand approached. “Master, all cleared up. No one managed to escape a single one. Our people have already combed all areas of the warehouse.”
“Good. I want this cleaned up. Burn this place. Make everything ashes. Don't let there be anything left.” Kennard ruled with a cold voice and expression.
Lisle next to him was still trembling and her tears were endlessly flowing. He had not been able to fully digest all the events.
“I go first,” Kennard said again.
“Good, Mr.” Kennard's male villa guard and confidant, Hans, nodded respectfully.
Lisle's legs are barely moved. Limply. When Kennard took her away from there, the girl sat on the floor. “I... I.. I don't feel like my legs can be moved...”.
Kennard snorted in annoyance. “Pampered base,” he said then raised the girl in one light gesture. The man carried Lisle until he reached the parked car outside the warehouse, opened the door and put the girl in the passenger seat next to the driver. He opened the driver's door and started the engine. Slowly the car left the place.

“Stop being a stupid girl!” celine said at the end of the conversation. He gets word from Kent's assistant lord Steve that Lisle has been found and is now in hospital. The girl rushed over too.
Lisle looked embarrassed as Celine said that. The arrival of Mr. Kent who saved him from the hands of the kidnappers rejects all thoughts that the man no longer cares about him. She was unwilling to argue with Celine as she was still busy with thoughts of what she should say if she met Mr. Kent. When they left the barn yesterday, he was so shocked that he couldn't think of anything.
The door of the treatment room suddenly opened. The two turned their heads and saw Kennard coming in with a doctor and nurse.
Celine looked back at Lisle. “ I go first. Remember, no more stupid thoughts.” Then the girl got up from her seat. As his gaze met with Kennard, he nodded at a glance then walked out.
It was Lisle who was nervous on her own. As Kennard walked over, Lisle just sat down and played his finger. He did not dare to look at the man.
