“He set me up with that ridiculous deal. Was that not playing around his name? He used his power to force me back to live with him. He too..” Lisle recalled the moment Mr. Kent kissed her in front of Dean.
“It doesn't prove anything, Lisle. You think if he doesn't force you like that, you'll want to stay with him? You're a fool, because Mr. Kent knows your stupidity, so he did it all. But again because of your stupidity too, you very stubbornly want to get away from him.” Celine spoke with a feeling of anxiety. “You forgot how Mr. Kent has saved you so many times, keeping you from so much trouble. You ignored a thousand good things for a little mistake.”
The last words of Celine kept ringing in Lisle's mind.
‘You ignored a thousand kindnesses for a little mistake.’
“Lisle!” A voice sounded calling.
Lisle was struck by the call. She just stood by a large billboard, looking at Celine sitting on a park bench.
“Hey, don't daydream in the middle of the road like that,” scolded Celine as Lisle had already walked over to her. “From yesterday I called but you look like a dazed person. You heard no?”
“What?” Lisle sat down next to Celine.
“Grand Miss election final. This year's Black Mountain is being held in our campus hall. And the show's tomorrow.” Celine tells.
That explains why today's college looks different.
Lisle looked up into her bag like she had just remembered something and searched there. “Then?” he seemed uninterested.
Celine inhaled a full lung of breath before exhaling it vigorously. He seemed to be preparing to report a big news.
“Mr Kent will be present tomorrow as guest of honor.” Celine said that while waiting for Lisle's reaction curiously.
Lisle seemed to stop the movement of looking for her inside the bag. He raised his face looking at Celine while smiling. “I found it!” Lisle pulled a colorful bracelet from inside the bag and brandished it in front of Celine. “I think, I lost it earlier.”
Celine looked dumbfounded. She couldn't believe Lisle was ignoring her. Previously he had hoped for a more satisfying reaction from Lisle. Isn't this a chance for Lisle to meet again with Mr Kent?
Unfortunately, Celine had no idea that Lisle had met Mr. Kent before and it had left her best friend feeling devastated by being ignored by him.
“You're coming, no?” celine urged annoyed that Lisle did not respond to the news that she thought was very sensational.
“You're too pessimistic,” complains Celine.
“I'm not pessimistic. I'm just speaking in reality. There's no way I've become so shameless to meet him in public. People will laugh. Who am I to be so confident talking to Mr Kent? Besides, what am I gonna say? ‘Mr Kent, I like you. I've fallen in love with you. Bring me back with you’, do I have to say that?”
No one heard Celine's objection. His friend was confused as to what else to say. He wants to argue with Lisle but doesn't know how.
“Come road!” Lisle got up from her seat, inviting Celine to leave immediately. “Today I want to arrive at work early.”

Miss grand final election day. Black Mountain's.
A luxury car pulled up in the parking lot of the campus, Steve looked out the front and opened the back door of the car. A beautiful girl with fashionable makeup came out of it, followed by a man with an extraordinary appearance. They seem like the perfect couple. Both were welcomed by the head of the foundation and one from Diamond Ritz university. They walked hand in hand towards the campus hall where the event was held. Behind them several bodyguards tried to head off the news hunters who tried to press forward.
The visitors looked boisterous welcoming the arrival of the guest of honor that day. The event that had lasted a while had paused because of the noise outside the hall that had provoked a commotion. Several building security officers tried to help defuse the atmosphere by securing the entrance to the hall.
Kennard stepped quietly among the urging of visitors. Beside her the girl still had time to throw her sweetest smile around. She looked confident in her silver dress. Everyone knows her as Miss. Black Mountain last year.
Some girls seem hysterical with the appearance of Mr. Kent. Most people never meet him in person. They only know about the owner of Diamond Group from news on the internet and television. Even Mr. Kent's clear face rarely appeared in the media. If anything, it was just a blurry picture taken from a distant place.
Lisle looked at all the crowds from a distance, not wanting to get close. He didn't intend to go to college today. Just because she needed some books from the library and it couldn't be delayed tomorrow, Lisle finally left as well.
He recognized the figure of a towering tall man who looked charming among the crowd, but did not recognize the girl walking beside him. The perfect couple, Lisle admitted it inwardly and smiled bitterly. Whether they were only a temporary or true partner, there was no reason for him to be jealous. I don't know why his heart is in pain. It hurts so much. Therefore slowly the girl stepped away from there, avoiding a small possibility of meeting.
Throughout the day that Lisle tried to concentrate with her work, cleaning the hallways between several shops, sweeping and mopping them. She recalled the look of pity from Celine's eyes aimed at her as she was about to leave campus, which she replied with a gaze of ‘I don't care’.
When Lisle's work hours ended, the girl walked down the sidewalk to a bus stop. Traffic on the city streets began to recede. Lisle sat alone at the stop waiting for the last bus. Usually the last bus arrives an hour after the mall closes. Lisle had to wait for about half an hour.
When the bus arrived, there were not many passengers on board. Some of them are employees who work in the last shift. There was also a pair of teenagers sitting at the back. An old man looked drowsy near the entrance. Lisle took a seat in the middle, leaning against the window of the bus, observing the sparkling city and feeling lonely.
It felt so long until the bus stopped at a stop near where Lisle lived. The girl got down and went back on foot down the deserted sidewalk. Behind him a black car walked slowly. As he was about to reach a corner, the car stopped. Two men dressed in dark colors stepped out. The two caught up with Lisle and ambushed the girl from behind.
