Chapter 62. When Are We Married?

“Hm.” Lisle just muttered indistinctly. Honestly, he didn't know what to say.

Kennard lowered his head, furrowing an eyebrow at Lisle's reply.  That made him dissatisfied. “Why just hm?”

“Why should I obey?” lisle said carefully. He hid his face tightly in the man's arms, not daring to look directly at Kennard. He was afraid of making this man angry again if he denied. But there are things that need to be done right from the beginning.

“Because you get in trouble every time you disobey.” Kennard answered while trying to find Lisle's face hiding.

That was not the answer Lisle wanted. So she lifted her face, pulling herself up a little so that she could stare straight into the man's eyes even with a slight look.

“I mean, why should I obey Master? I'm who's Mister? What kind of relationship is there between us? Master is not playing around with me ‘ right? If you're just playing around, I'd better go back to the apartment.” Lisle bent her lips. He felt very dissatisfied with Kennard's insensitivity. This man was not good at matters of heart.

Kennard gnashed his teeth. His face looked grim for a moment. This girl doubted his seriousness. Should she say it frankly then Lisle understood? After all, all this time there was no girl who refused even just to play around with him.

“If I want to play around, I won't bother taking care of you,” Kennard said upsetly. Although according to him, everything he had done all this time for the girl was just a trivial thing, but he was quite troubled by the thought of Lisle.

“Then?” lisle said with a waiting expression, expectantly.

“Then what?” Kennard was like a confused person as he repeated Lisle's words.

“Then, am I now the lover of Mr?” Lisle plays her fingers on Kennard's shirt buttons.

“Didn't I say it a long time ago. You're my girl, mine, my lover..” Kennard's voice sounded anxious.

“Then, I will return to my apartment,” Lisle said quickly. He looks disappointed on his own.

Kennard was flabbergasted. That was not the reaction he expected. Didn't the girl expect a serious relationship and not messing around.

“I've made our relationship clear,” Kennard said. “Why did you say you wanted to go back to your apartment?” tanyakanya.

“Because with the status as a lover of the Master, it means the Master is still not really serious.” Lisle's voice sounded sad.

“Hm, then?” Kennard doesn't seem to understand.

“Do you not want to propose to me?” asked Lisle hesitatingly.

At first glance there was a strange glint in those dark eyes. Kennard stared at the little girl in front of him barely blinking. Before, no girl had asked him for something like this. To be exact, no one dared. If only they could be with him for a few days, for them it would be good luck. Who would dare to hope for the position of mistress Kent? But this girl....

“You become greedy,” Kennard said but not one bit irritated. Contrary to custom, she somehow liked the idea. She begins to imagine Lisle as Kent's kind-hearted mistress. Without him noticing, the corners of his lips lifted.

“I'm not greedy. I just want to marry the person I love and love me.” Lisle was back in a frown. He did not accept being accused of being greedy. Can all the girls you want to marry be called greedy?

“But I don't care if you're greedy. Whatever you want I'll give you. I can afford it, so why not?” kennard said imperiously.

Once again Kennard was stunned by Lisle's question. This stupid girl, why today is becoming smarter than other girls. And more courageous too. One time he found Lisle so inferior and afraid to expect much, today he saw this girl so confident, so, playing around in his arms and raving about marriage with him is like a child wanting a toy.

“While I haven't thought about it yet, but I was just hoping that if I got married, it would be a surprise for my girl. I didn't think I'd even hear your whining asking to marry you. Did I do something that made me responsible for marrying you?” Kennard hadn't expected Lisle to be this chatty.

“I don't whine. I asked you nicely. And sir must be responsible. Master has made me unable to sleep well these three months. Master made me cry until my tears were almost dry. Mr...”

“So it was my fault?” cut Kennard fast. “Who begs want to go before?” Kennard walked down the curves of those beautiful lips with his finger.

And Lisle blushed. “But Sir...”.

“Stop your bullshit. I've decided, we'll get married as soon as possible.” Kennard bowed intending to kiss again but was soon rejected by Lisle.

“Really?” Those beautiful eyes were shining brightly. Lisle's behavior is like a happy kitten. “How about the ring? Are you going to buy me a ring with the biggest diamond? Isn't Master very rich?”

“You want the ring with the biggest diamond, can you wear it?” If that were to say something like that to another girl, Kennard would be disgusted. But when Lisle spoke, it felt funny to him. This girl used to always refuse her gifts but today whines about the ring with a big diamond, it feels like she wants to buy all the diamond rings and give it to this girl.

“No. I'm just asking. But I do want a diamond ring for a wedding ring, even if an ordinary ring is fine. But the great Mr Kent would feel ashamed ‘kan, if his wife only wore a cheap ring?” Lisle became good at talking. His heart is very happy. They're getting married. Lisle and Mr. Kent. The girl's heart was about to explode. So, he just keeps blabbering.

“Can't you be more convoluted?” Kennard almost laughed at Lisle's rant that started everywhere. ”And Lisle, can't you let me surprise you? You asked me even everything I hadn't thought of.”

“I don't want any more surprises. I've been very surprised by Mr.'s arrival to the warehouse the other day. It almost gave me a heart attack.  And I really want to say this to Sir, Master is so cool!” Lisle's cheeks flushed red as she said so.  

Kennard couldn't stand it. “Stop your chatter,” he said. He looked like a dragon that was about to devour the mischievous rabbit. His eyes are full of desire.

Lisle was silent for a moment. Their eyes met for a few seconds. The girl suddenly felt something she was beginning to recognize, this man became very passionate.

“I have to go to the toilet,” Lisle said suddenly then wriggled away from Kennard's embrace . Afterwards the girl ran to the bathroom.

Kennard grinned at the girl's behavior. “Tonight, I will not let you go,” Kennard muttered as he threw his body onto the bed. He would wait while closing his eyes for a moment.
