Lover Forced The Ruler

Lover Forced The Ruler
Chapters 105. Wedding Feast

Kennard and Lisle's wedding is the biggest in Black Mountain's history. Held in the most luxurious hotel owned by Diamond Group itself and attended by important and distinguished guests. The mass media exposed the news all-out. And many things surprised many people. One of them is that the couple has actually been married for a long time.

Lisle in a white wedding dress stood in front of the mirror shrinking the corner of her eyes that was condensing. There are happy and sad feelings mixed into one. She didn't think Kennard would give her such a grand party. And feeling sad because her best friend Celine couldn't stand by her side today.

The day before Lisle went to where Celine was being treated and wished the last time that Celine had recovered so she could take the girl to her wedding. Reality is not as you wish. Celine's eyes were still filled with unfamiliar gazes. Lisle finally came home and cried all the way back to Palm Garden.

“Mistress, sir is waiting for Madam in main room.” A woman in a waiter uniform conveys a message.

“Say, I'll be there soon,” said Lisle while refusing to have her makeup repaired by a makeup artist.

Actually Lisle felt tired after half a day of receiving congratulations from the invitees. Of the many guests, the person he expected did not even come. Steve could not be contacted. I don't know where that only brother is. It had been a month since her departure, Lisle had not heard the news.

The waiter helped Lisle hold the back of her long dress so as not to get caught while walking. Again he became the center of attention as he stepped into the grand and majestic main hall of the party. Her eyes found her husband near a large stage with a pair of male and female guests. Lisle could not see the faces of the two because of their standing position. But it seems like Lisle recognized him.

When Lisle was close to them, the male guest turned towards Lisle. Sontak Lisle screamed happily.

“Steve! I thought you weren't coming.” Lisle hunts down toward Steve and regardless of the people's views, he hugs his brother. He missed Steve a lot. Actually, he misses his mother's father. Now that there was only her brother left, how could she refrain from hugging this man.

Don't mind that jealous husband. Let him burn himself, Lisle's inner voice was indifferent. He did not even glance at Kennard at all and instead tightened his embrace.

Steve felt short of breath, but he did not resist the longing embrace. Nor would he care if Mr. Kent was furious. The man returned the embrace of his sister.

“Of course I'll come. You're my only brother. How are you feeling now? Are you happy?” steve asked as he touched the side of Lisle's teary face.

“I'm very happy..” Lisle's voice was stuck in her throat. He was almost desperate not to see Steve among the guests.

“Ehem.” The girl standing near them cleared her throat after a long moment of neglect.

“Lisle, do you still remember me?”

Lisle released her embrace from Steve and turned towards the origin of the voice. Without taking a long time he instantly recognized the girl.

“Andra? Of course I remember. How could I forget?” Lisle wiped off her tears and grabbed both of Andra's arms. His heart was amazed at the beauty of the girl. She used to believe that Andra looked more like a model.

Andra laughs. “You look very pretty, Lisle.”

“You're prettier.” Lisle praised back. “So, who are you coming with?” Lisle looked around and met Steve. His forehead creased as he thought of something.

“What are you guys coming with?” lisle asked for certainty over his conjecture.

Steve just muttered. While Andra nodded while smiling enigmaticly.

Lisle took her hand off Andra. “You... A.. what is she girl iitu”

Lisle looked at Steve and Andra alternately. “You're dating?” his screeches.

Andra couldn't hold back her laughter now. He looked at Steve for approval. Then he said, “Actually, we are married?” The girl showed me the ring on her ring finger.

“Aah!” Lisle hysterical herself. “You cheated. You guys are hiding from me!” Then he remembered Kennard who from earlier seemed not to care about the excitement his wife caused. “Ken, do you also know that they are married?”

Kennard's answer made Lisle really upset. “Do I need to know?” her husband said without looking at his wife.

“Ken!” Lisle bent her lips and pulled her husband's arm. “Don't you feel like Steve is getting more and more like you?”

This time Kennard turned to Lisle. His face implied displeasure. “Never equate me with anyone.”

Lisle is laughing. “Didn't she also marry without knowing people like you? He learned a lot from you.”

“He's just a copycat,” denies Kennard's refusal to budge.

Steve and Andra could only look at each other at the debate. The two quietly slipped away from there. They knew, if it stayed any longer maybe their fate wouldn't be so good.

When Lisle realizes that Steve and Andra have suddenly disappeared without saying goodbye, she starts to look around. “Where are they?” Lisle was about to leave her husband's side but was soon prevented.

“They're not going anywhere. Aren't you hungry? You haven't eaten anything since this morning.” Kennard reminded Lisle.

This morning maybe Lisle was too nervous to swallow a spoonful of food. He just spent a few sips of milk. At lunch the girl refused to eat anything and again only drank a glass of water.

“I have no taste. I don't think my stomach is good. Every time I see any food it seems like my stomach contents are about to come out.” Lisle felt nauseous remembering the various dishes that were on the table. “Maybe because I was too nervous about the party.”

“But it is almost afternoon. You should eat something. Otherwise you could get sick. I don't want anything to happen to you.” Kennard pulled Lisle to a row of tables with various dishes. He took a piece of the pudding to a small plate. “Try!”

“No want?” Kennard put the plate in his hand to the table, feeling worried when he realized the uncomfortable expression on Lisle's face. For a moment, he seemed fine. “Darling, are you feeling sick?”

Lisle did not answer. His head felt dizzy suddenly. He held on to Kennard's arm intending to make it a focus. But her gaze turned dark and she no longer even had the strength to hold on to her husband.

“Lisle!”

Lisle faintly heard Kennard's anxious call before losing consciousness.

“A... what? I'm pregnant?” Lisle looked at Kennard in disbelief. Just now her husband told her of the possibility. “But...”.

Lisle remembered that she was indeed ‘no guest arrival’ last month. But the busy preparation of the wedding made him not have time to think about it and only think if it was a mere hormone problem.

He saw Kennard with mixed feelings. “But I'm still in college. How do I...”.

“Honey, don't think about the no-no first. Everything can be arranged. Now the important thing is to take care of your health and our future children.” Kennard tried to calm Lisle's worries.

Lisle was silent for a moment. Then he remembered something. He had not yet said it, the door of the room was knocked.

“Log in!” kennard told someone out there.

Door opens. Steve and Andra walked in.

“How is he doing? You okay?” Steve got closer to the side of the bed.

“Steve, I think you'll have a nephew.” Lisle clasped her brother's hand with a smile. He was about to ask Kennard where Steve was. This guy showed up first.

“Really?” Steve looked surprised and happy. He looked at Kennard next to him. “Master, congratulations on being a father.”

Steve knew the loneliness his master had been feeling all along. That's exactly how he feels anyway. After getting married and being given offspring, the happiness of the master and his sister would be more perfect. Steve also hoped that happiness would soon spread to him.

His sister and master took turns. Then his gaze met Andra, the girl he had secretly married. All the faces seemed happy at the news and Steve hoped that the happiness would last even longer. And much longer.

This time it's really OVER.... 🤭🤭🤭
