The receptionist girl was puzzled for a moment by Lisle's question, then cleared her throat trying not to laugh. To him, that question is funny. The president already has his own assistant. How can a company issue job announcements as an assistant? This girl in front of him must be delirious, he thought.
“Sorry, Miss. We don't have job openings like Miss meant. But if Miss wants, we are looking for part time workers as an introduction to the document.” The receptionist girl politely told.
Despite being embarrassed by that explanation, Lisle did not mind feeling pleased. Document introduction? Would he be going around from one floor to another to deliver some documents? It's such an easy job.
“Really? Then, I'd like to apply for the job.” Lisle looked at the receptionist girl with a hopeful look. “What are the requirements?”
“No special requirements. Miss just need to make a regular application as a formality and put it in our HRD section. But I heard because this is very urgent, maybe the lady can come to the HRD office first now..” The girl recalled that the job had been vacant in these few days because the person in charge of that part had suddenly resigned. There are a lot of documents waiting to be sent.
“Good. Where can I find the HRD section?” Lisle became impatient.
The girl in the Diamond Group uniform told Lisle the location of the office.
After saying thank you, Lisle headed for an elevator at the end of the room, pressed a button and waited for the elevator to move up.
Her HR Manager is a woman with a serious look but is quite friendly. He tells Lisle that the girl can work tomorrow while carrying the application file. Even that day he was actually able to start working, but because his work entry hours had been long gone, the manager told Lisle to come tomorrow only.
Lisle finally returned home to Palm Garden feeling happy in the afternoon. He'll be working at Mr. Kent's company from tomorrow. The salary is bigger than the Cloud Cafe. Almost twice as much. Today Lisle felt very lucky.

“I heard Caldwell company started to improve today.”
Lisle read the chat that Celine sent while leaning on the sofa in the room. His feelings became relieved. Turns out Mr. Kent was right about the Caldwell family that would be fine.
While smiling to herself, Lisle typed. “I hope it's true. Yes, Celine. I got a new job. I'll tell you tomorrow.”
“Hm, new job. Where?” Kennard was suddenly already behind her, peeking at Lisle's phone screen.
“A... just a small job...” Lisle tried to look calm despite the fact that her heart almost jumped out. Fortunately, he did not write about Diamond Group to Celine.
“What kind of small work?” Kennard turned around the sofa and sat down next to Lisle. He took off his tie and placed it just about anywhere on the table.
How did this man get into the room without making a sound? Is he a ghost? Lisle smiled slightly as she twisted her brain looking for the right answer.
“Sort of delivering documents...” Lisle grimaced, feeling like she couldn't find a good answer. He will not name his company.
“Where?” ask Kennard again. This time he looked directly at Lisle to the point of making the girl nervous instantly.
“Only small company. Sir probably won't be interested..” Lisle tried to dodge. “Eh, i... I have something to do...” The girl got up but her arm was held back by Kennard until he sat back down on the couch.
“You said you'd do anything for me. What is it?” Kennard spoke in a low tone. Her eyes flashed implying something that scared the girl.
Lisle looked sexy in the dress she wore. The low neckline allows Kennard to find more scenery in there.
Since when did this girl dare to tease him by dressing like that? Where are the sleeping pajamas that cover their entire body?
Lisle gulped nervously, but she nodded reluctantly as well.
Kennard inhaled the scent of shampoo from the girl's hair. “Hm, so good,” murmured the man slowly. “What if I want you. Do you want to serve me?”
Kennard really wanted this girl.
The girl shriveled in place, not daring to move in the slightest. “I... I. if for that, I can't. I've never been...”
Kennard grabbed the little face. “You said anything. Doesn't that mean everything is without exception?”
Lisle's beautiful eyes piled up, like there were thousands of diamonds about to leap out. “Master, I...”.
Lisle shaking. Kennard propped his arm side up on the back of the sofa, trapping. In her view, Lisle was very attractive at a time like this. His teary eyes, lips that quivered with fear, he recalled their first meeting.
As Kennard looked down at that face, Lisle pleaded with a clear voice. “Tu... Mister, no. Please...”.The tears broke.
***
Lisle wiped the tears while continuing her work of slicing onions. Kennard watched from earlier as he sat in his chair, waiting.
“Make me dinner,” Kennard said unexpectedly.
Although she once said that she could cook for the man, but that doesn't mean Lisle is good at cooking. Isn't there Thomas whose cooking ability is equivalent to a five-star hotel chef? Lisle shook her head unconsciously. His lips bent a frown.
“I don't like your pouting face.” Kennard. “Are you disappointed that you didn't meet your expectations?”
Aish, is he making fun of me? Lisle's face flushed red remembering she almost fainted as Kennard approached her. He thought he was going to finish him off tonight and it scared him, but Kennard said something about dinner and hunger.
Where are Thomas and the other servants? Are they all on holiday today?
Lisle didn't know what to cook. He stood in the spacious kitchen and saw a lot of groceries in the refrigerator but was confused about processing them. Perhaps he would mix it all up so that this evil master was poisoned after consuming it. Such thoughts made his lips comment on a smile.
“You are suddenly happy. Do you think you're going to poison me?” kennard said again.
Lisle almost choked with that guess. He shook his head quickly. Too soon. “No. Where do I dare.”
Gosh darn. How could the man guess perfectly?
“Written on your face.”
Once again Lisle gawked.
“Quick. I'm hungry!”
After an hour, the girl set the dinner table. Kennard was in his chair. Looks impatient. Lisle did not dare to glance as she placed a plate of pasta with a piece of sausage and egg in front of the man.
Ken's frown was observing the simple dish in front of him.
“What is this?” Stabbed that piece of sausage with a fork. Eyes squinting.
Lisle did not know whether to laugh or cry. He grimaced as he answered that satirical question. “I can only cook this, Mr.”
A plate of pasta with eggs and sausages for Kennard who was used to a chef's cooking. Lisle gulped, waiting. He hoped something would make the man choke and run out of breath. Or maybe in the middle of her classy eating style despite being treated to just a plate of pasta, her heart suddenly stopped beating.
Kennard just took a quick glance at it and started scooping, eating it for a bite.
“You eat too!” his orders for only seeing Lisle were still standing on the side of the table.
Lisle is hungry too. The aroma of the homemade pasta that adds to the stomach pain. But he was still waiting for Kennard to finish his meal and then go to the kitchen and eat there. He had no taste in eating at the same table as Kennard. I don't know why today this guy really sucks.
“Let's go, Sir. I eat in the kitchen only.” Lisle reasoned while still standing in his place like a servant waiting for his master to eat and ready if at any time when necessary.
“Who told you to eat in the kitchen?” Kennard stopped bribing. He looked at Lisle. The girl looked down.
“Eh, no...”.
“So eat here. It does not feel good to eat while being stared at by a person who continuously bends his lips and cusses in the heart.”
