Lover Forced The Ruler

Lover Forced The Ruler
Chapters 100. Have You Forgotten Your Friend?

The daytime sky was still the same as the past few days. Bluest. Brightest. Unclouded. Similar sea. But there are no waves.

When someone similar in his dream came, Celine was in the courtyard of the white building as usual. His face looked fresher than when he had come before. But his eyes still haven't changed. Looks empty.

"Celine." Lisle came that afternoon after doctors confirmed the injury to her leg had fully recovered. He went alone.

The girl called Celine looked over. The voice sounded familiar but very distant. There was such repeated shock when the young man the other day visited her. Why couldn't he remember them while they remembered him? Have they met in a previous life?

Lisle rushed over to the girl who was sitting on the park bench. Memories of the previous few months passed. They often met behind campus and spent little time on park benches.

"The line? You okay?" Celine's silence made Lisle chase after her with the next question. Celine's foreign gaze stopped her steps.

Celine looked up at the beautiful girl with a white canal that made her look like that elf. There was a skyline and a white cloud behind it. Celine stupefied. It's like he's seen it.

"Who are you? Are you a fairy?" celine asked fascinated.

Lisle's face suddenly changed. At first she felt something was wrong when the car that drove her stopped in front of a white building labeled White Rose mental hospital. He still thought maybe Celine was just a little shaken up because of the last few occurrences.

But Celine didn't seem to be just shaken. He even forgot about Lisle.

"Celine, don't you remember me? I'm Lisle, your best friend. Did you forget?" Lisle sat down next to Celine and grabbed the girl's hand.

Celine looked to be tilting her face. He was trying to scavenge the memories in his memories. Everything is white like blank paper.

"Have we met before?" celine asked with a curious face.

"of course. We're apartment friends." Lisle felt her throat get stuck. How did Celine become like this? Is the guess right that Celine likes Steve, her brother?

"really? But I live here. How can we be apartment friends?" Celine seemed to be thinking hard. Then his head suddenly hurt. He touched his forehead and pinched.

"We used to live in the same apartment. We also went to the same college." Lisle tried to remind me.

Celine no longer responded. He returned his gaze to the sky above. His lips twitched but not a single word came out of it.

"Celine, this must be temporary amnesia. I'm sure you'll remember everything soon. We can go back to what we used to." Lisle shrunk the corner of her eye that was about to drop a clear drop.

A paper bag with lunch boxes in it. "I brought you your favorite food. Eat a lot. I'll come back here again. Just tell me you want something." Lisle's voice was shaking.

Celine did not react with Lisle's words. He was like he was immersed in his own world.

Then seen by Lisle's bracelet. The bracelet was still attached to Celine's right wrist.

"Do you remember where you got this bracelet?" lisle said as he touched the colorful bracelet on Celine's arm. She wished Celine could remember a little.

Celine now looked at the bracelet in her hand. Seeing it like it was the first time it realized the existence of that thing. He raised his arm, bringing the bracelet closer to his face. "This. I don't know."

There was also a cross of memories in the white of his memories, but those memories were only faint shadows. Transparently. The rest, he doesn't remember anything.

But there was a corner of his heart that melted.

"Is that the same bracelet?" tanyanya astonishment.

Lisle nodded strongly. He brought the arm that was wearing the bracelet closer to Celine. "Isn't this very similar? It signifies our friendship."

There was a light flick in those empty eyes. Just seconds. After that, the flame went out.

"Great," Celine commented but sounded unsavory. "Did you give it to me?"

Lisle nodded again. But after a while of not getting a better reaction from Celine, Lisle was disappointed. After momentarily observing the bracelet in her hand while playing it, Lisle finally got up from her seat.

"alright. I really need to go now." Lisle looked at Celine for a moment. The girl in front of him did not say. Lisle turned around and stepped away from the place.

Is there any rejection of Steve that has destroyed Celine? Or was it the loss of her mother that left her so shaken?

Lisle kept thinking about it the whole way in the car.

Steve has admitted that he keeps his distance from Celine believing that she has other feelings for him.

"You don't like it? Celine's a good girl?" Lisle was disappointed to hear the rejection in the words of her husband's assistant as well as her brother.

"I like him as a friend." Steve looked at the palm trees in the distance.

They were on the veranda of Palm Garden. Lisle demands Steve tell her about everything that happened to Celine during her time on the island. The day Kennard told the test results that showed a brotherly relationship between him and Steve, his brother didn't have time to tell him anything. Every look at Kennard, it seemed like Steve was ready to disappear from before Lisle.

"Sorry" Steve said with a respectful attitude. He seemed unable to adjust to the fraternal relationship between them. "I'm sorry if it doesn't live up to your expectations."

Lisle. He was disappointed but could do nothing. At first, she wished Celine and Steve could be a couple. Love cannot be forced as love cannot be avoided if it has arrived.

"Did you tell her something?" ask Lisle. Maybe there was a word Steve made Celine hurt.

"I didn't say anything to him. I think avoiding it is better. No need to say anything. I didn't think it could happen like this." Steve seemed to be sorry.

Then when Steve was about to go home, Lisle asked him something that made him curious. "Steve, do you have someone you like?"

Steve stopped his steps. He turned around and looked at Lisle reluctantly. He knew the difficulty his master had with this younger brother. Now he must feel the same. Lisle won't stop looking for him with questions if he's curious.

The man sighed. Weight. No one's ever tried to unearth his secret. Even Mr. Kent seemed unconcerned. About her relationship with Lisle was revealed only because the girl asked for it. Just because the girl was his wife, Mr. Kent cared and told people to investigate.

"Sister, do you already have someone in your heart?" reset Lisle. Now he changed his call.

Steve hesitated for a moment to answer. Finally he just nodded without saying anything more. He was worried that Lisle would pursue him with a new question.

But his hope was not fulfilled. Lisle's eyes had already widened in order to get that answer.

"Who?" chase Lisle. Somehow the girl was already near Steve and tugged at the man's hand as a form of curiosity.

Steve felt his head hurt suddenly.
