Lover Forced The Ruler

Lover Forced The Ruler
Chapter 66. Weddings

Although she could not hide her happy feelings, Lisle looked nervous from the morning. Kennard returned the day before to Palm Garden and still had not found Lisle there. It was only the next morning that the girl arrived home with her best friend Celine.

Although it was a wedding without a big celebration, Kennard also brought a stylish to dress Lisle while ordering a beautiful dress. They will take some wedding photos as mementos.

Lisle looked beautiful that day in her knee-length white dress. While Kennard looks more charming in a formal suit. They look very harmonious when side by side. Even the three young masters acknowledged the two like they were destined to pair up. Others endlessly praised the two brides.

Meanwhile, despite claiming to miss when Kennard was abroad, that day Lisle even seemed to always hide from the man. The girl appeared to be playing cat-dish with her future husband. While the three young masters Nathan, David and Benjamin were just watching with amusement the frightened-looking bride.

They were only together at the time of the marriage book signing and taking photos. Afterwards Lisle disappeared to Celine's side. Shortly after lunch with several people present, Kennard pulled Lisle into a corner of the room as he was talking to Celine, the girl looking nervous.

"You think you can keep avoiding me? You said you missed me on the phone. How dare you tease me." Kennard whispered in the ear as he pressed him against the wall near the window leading to the garden.

"I didn't mean that. We'll live in the same house anyway. How could I possibly avoid Master…."

"Don't call me master again. Now you're my wife. Call me Kennard!" fast Kennard exchange.

"Hum…."

"What is hum?" Kennard lowered his head to reach Lisle's chin.

"No.. emh!"

Kennard silenced Lisle's mouth with a slightly rough kiss that made the girl flutter.

"Stop.. Mr…." Lisle tried to escape when the kiss stopped. "Many people…."

"Master?" kennard Protest.

"Ken…."

"Thank you to those people. If they're home, you're done." Kennard's eyes imply a threat.

"I have to see Celine. It would be weird if we suddenly disappeared." Lisle blushed while feeling nervous at the same time. Judging from his stunt, Mr. Kent will definitely not let go again later tonight.

Kennard still won't let go of his wife. His hand was still resting on the wall next to Lisle. He stroked those blush-filled cheeks and thought how adorable this wife was.

"How's the ring, you like it?" ask Kennard. He ordered the ring before going overseas and retrieved it upon returning to Black Mountain.

"Like." Lisle stroked the ring Kennard had placed on his ring finger.

"Do you want the diamond to be bigger?"An ignorant smile played on the corner of Kennard's lips.

Lisle's face flushed. He remembers asking if Kennard would give him a ring with a large diamond.

"Are you very impatient. Should we all leave now?" A voice suddenly interrupted from behind.

Kennard turned around and found David walking over with a grin. While Lisle pushes Kennard's body away from the man. Ever since the arrival of these three young masters, Lisle had often had ear-splitting temptations.

"I'll go first." Lisle rushes to leave Kennard and David. She did not care about David's amused smile and the frown on her husband's forehead.

"Your little wife is so funny. I just realized it today." David could not help his laughter. He had already seen Lisle who kept going back and forth in the large room with only a handful of people. Obviously she was nervous and trying to avoid her own husband.

Kennard did not laugh. His lips were flat on hearing David's rant about his wife.

"What's looking for me? Do you want to go home?" kennard said cynically.

David coughed for a moment, trying to ease his laughter. "Actually I'd love to stay here tonight. Your first night will be very interesting."

"I don't mind. The thing is, my wife won't mind either." Kennard directed his eyes at Lisle who was seen clinging to Celine, while in front of them were Steve, Nathan and Benjamin.

"Stop pretending. You certainly really want to kick us out right now. I just wanted to tell you that from now on you have to be extra careful looking after your wife. You have a weakness now. If your enemies find out, they won't let go of the chance to destroy you by taking advantage of it. Especially I see, your wife is so innocent. He'll be easy to use by your enemies." David spoke as he set his eyes on the small group in the living room conversing.

The attendant who had come to take care of the wedding documents had already left a while ago. Celine seemed enthusiastic about playing cards with Steve and the two young masters. Lisle looks only to pay attention while daydreaming. While Thomas and some waiters occasionally fill empty drinks or deliver snacks. The atmosphere of the usually quiet living room becomes a little more crowded than usual.

"I knew. Therefore I don't mind when Lisle asks for this marriage not to be made public. He has his own reasons. Even though I don't like it a little. From the very beginning of our relationship, she always rejected being together in public as if she was ashamed to acknowledge our relationship. When I was my wife she still didn't want anyone else to know, I sometimes didn't understand her way of thinking that was different from most people." Kennard leaned against the wall and crossed.

"But published or not, both have risks. Right now I've asked my men to watch him twenty-four hours. Maybe Lisle would feel uncomfortable knowing this, but I don't want bad things to happen to her again. I'll feel so guilty."

As the people had left ahead of his afternoon, Kennard found Lisle busy packing up the messy living room. There are many servants who do the same job.

"Go take a shower and rest. Let the waiter do it." Kennard held Lisle's hand that was lifting the glass in the tray.

"It's okay, I…."

"Lisle, listen to me. You look tired. So go to the room to rest." Kennard repeated his orders. Actually he was very eager to tease the girl who had officially become his wife, but he held his mouth to not say things that would make Lisle more agitated.

Kennard picked up the glass in Lisle's hand, pulled the girl's arm and led her to the room upstairs.

"Shut up and sleep for a while. I'll wake you before dinner. In the meantime I have something to do in the workspace." Kennard exited the room and closed the door.

Lisle still looked confused as her husband left. After a while he was banging his own forehead for feeling so ridiculous. A moment ago some wild thoughts filled his head.

"What the fuck are you, Lisle? You're constantly thinking disgusting things. Aren't you ashamed of yourself?" Lisle spoke for herself. Now he patted both cheeks as if trying to wake himself up.
