Lisle had just returned to Palm Garden by late afternoon. He brought all his college books and some personal items including clothes. Lisle felt uncomfortable with the expensive clothes he wore, every morning found it difficult to determine the clothes that must be worn so as not to look flashy.
Thomas who greeted Lisle helped her bring things to the room.
“Master hasn't come home yet, huh?” ask Lisle to know. Kennard rarely calls. Lisle herself did not dare to contact him. In retrospect, Lisle never called the man.
“Numbers, Miss.” Thomas answered politely. He was intending to help the girl tidy up her belongings and had a chance to furrow her brows as soon as he saw the simple clothes that Lisle was carrying. According to him the clothes he prepared according to Mr. Kent's orders were quite a lot. The girl had not even worn half of it.
“Thank you, Thomas. No need. I can clean it myself.” Lisle refused Thomas' help. When he saw the waiter noticed his clothes he was embarrassed and hurriedly explained. “I don't want to get people's attention too much. These clothes are faster for me.”
Thomas made no comment. She simply nodded respectfully and left Lisle in her room.
From the very beginning her master brought this lady he knew this girl must be very special. After some time he could see the personality of this girl who was different from the girls who had come into contact with her master. Although his master never took them to the Palm Garden, Thomas heard much from William, the girls who became arrogant after a while with his master.
By dinner, Kennard had yet to show up. Lisle finally had to enjoy her dinner alone at the large dining table and felt how wasted all the food the waiter had painstakingly prepared. He's not feeling tasteful. Just a few mouthfuls he had already put down his fork spoon and returned to the room.
Long enough Lisle could close her eyes. He was still thinking about the incident earlier this afternoon and Ralph's shocking attitude. Lisle is not excited to go to college tomorrow. Given that how easy it is for someone to know his relationship with Mr. Kent makes him not want to meet anyone. Unfortunately he couldn't get away with that reason. Kennard would have liked to hear that.
It felt like time was passing too fast, it was suddenly morning again. He did not find Kennard next to him and was momentarily confused. When he heard the sound of water in the bathroom, he immediately got up and tidied up the bed.
Kennard came out of the bathroom and saw the dreamy Lisle at the side of the bed with a lethargic face.
“Do you get sick?” Kennard stopped near Lisle, lowered his head and touched the girl's forehead.
Lisle regained her senses and hurriedly shook her head. “No. I'm fine.”
“You look limp. I can ask permission to go to college if you want to take a break.” Kennard. He looked at the girl for a moment.
Last night he came home a little late and found the girl already asleep. He found a stack of lecture books on the floor of the room near the bed. William tells her that the girl went to his old apartment to pick things up.
“I'm not sick so there's no reason not to go to college. I'm not working anyway, so I can go home before lunch.” Lisle got up soon. “I want to take a shower first.”
Kennard noticed the girl who disappeared behind the bathroom door. He knew exactly something that was troubling the girl's mind.
Before leaving, Kennard called Lisle to his study. The man held out a shopping bag to Lisle. When Lisle opened it he saw a new phone.
“You said your phone often has problems.” Kennard watched the girl who looked still stunned by the flat object. “So I bought a new one. I don't want to when I call you your phone is dead.”
“This... this is completely unnecessary.” Lisle felt bad. That day she lied to Celine about her troubled phone making it difficult to contact. “My phone can still be used.”
“Do not argue. Put that phone on and get rid of your old phone.” Kennard pulled out a gold card from his wallet.” And keep this. You can use it as you please. I've changed the password with your birthday.”
Lisle's eyes widened. “ Ti. I can't take it. I don't need to buy anything.” He made a rejection gesture with his hand, but Kennard pulled the hand and placed the card in his palm.
“Go have fun. You're not working anymore so where do you get the money. Buy something!” Kennard became a little upset.
“A... what?” ask stupid Lisle.
“How I know. Don't girls like to shop? Maybe you can buy some clothes you like. The clothes you wear are ugly.” Kennard stepped to the door. “ Don't stand it. We leave together. I'll take you to campus first.”
Lisle looked down at the knee-length canal she was wearing. He didn't know where the ugly was, other than it looked simple. This is better than the branded clothes in the closet that only provoke suspicion and jealousy that see it. Lisle hurriedly stuffed Kennard's hand-held phone into her bag and slipped the gold card into the wallet. He felt alien to the existence of that thing among his possessions. I don't know if he'll use it later. The card looks flashy inside his cheap wallet. Meanwhile, the phone, he had to find a reasonable explanation if Celine asked him. That thing looks very expensive.
Today Kennard drives himself. “William is on leave,” he said when he saw the full face asked Lisle.
The man drove him to the back gate of the campus. Lisle did not dare to ask to be taken down at the stop. He simply told Kennard to stop at the part of campus that was spared the crowds. The man can understand him.
Lisle just looked at Kennard's departure in a daze. At that moment his phone rang. The old phone.
“Lisle, where are you?” Celine's voice was on the other end.
“I'm already on campus.”
“Really? If it's so fast here. I'm in the back garden.” Celine tells.
Lisle felt amused herself hearing it. He came from the back gate and saw his friend sitting on one of the park benches. “Good. Wait for me half a minute.” The girl turned off the phone without waiting for Celine to answer.
His friend was about to protest when he heard a voice calling.
“Celine!” Lisle was seen running small towards him. His face was radiant under the morning sun. The girl laughed amusedly at Celine's silly look.
“You from anywhere?” Celine glanced at the clothes Lisle was wearing. It was the clothes that Lisle wore in her usual days. These few days he noticed the girl was wearing nice clothes but Celine was reluctant to ask. Maybe that relative is a really good person.
“I just came but through the back door. When you called, I saw you.” Lisle. “Baren me to the apartment took some stuff.”
“Hm, it's appropriate that you wear that ugly shirt again. When you just got back, I saw you looked pretty.” Celine pouted remembering that Lisle no longer lived with her.
“It's still good, kok!” Lisle spun around like a model showing off the dresses of a famous designer. The sea-blue canal expanded slightly at the bottom as he made that move.
“Hm, stop. I was just kidding. Any shirt will look better when you wear it.”
Lisle just smiled hearing the compliment. “Celine, I have something for you.” Lisle grabbed something in her bag.
A bracelet with a natural stone was given to Celine. “I bought it in a souvenir shop. Last night I forgot to give it to you.” Lisle did not say if the bracelet was bought from a souvenir shop that was very far away, in the Sun Imperial city.
“I also wear it.” Lisle shook her left arm in front of Celine. “Beauty?”
“Hm, I don't know if I'm suitable to wear it.” Celine observed the colorful bracelet in her hand.
“Currently suitable. I bought it for Daisy. I'll give it today.”
Lisle took the bracelet from Celine's hand and placed it on the girl's right arm. As they join hands, the bracelet looks side by side. “Friends forever!” Lisle's exclaim looked childish to the point of making Celine laugh.
“Alright, I'll wear it,” break up Celine saw Lisle's enthusiastic attitude.
“Never let go!” Lisle.
“OK. I'll keep wearing it.” Celine tried to convince.
The two then engaged in a short conversation before going to their respective classes.

Lisle's last hour of college passed faster than expected. The lecturer gave a task and told when to be handed over. It seemed that the middle-aged man was rushing over for some reason.
Lisle was worried about meeting Ralph. But until the last lecture, the man was nowhere to be seen.
Lisle walked alone down the crowded corridor. As he passed through a room, he heard a voice full of anger. “The girl was brave enough to try to seduce Ralph. He thought he'd get away with me..”.
