Lisle heard the sound of helicopter propellers outside. The guests must have come, he thought. He could not close his eyes must feel tired and sleepy. His mind was second-guessing what Kennard's friends were like.
Outside near the landing site, three young men with charming faces descended from the aerial vehicle looking around like they were looking for something.
“Where is the girl? You didn't mean to hide it from us ‘kan?” David approached Kennard who stood watching their arrival with an unhappy face.
“He's asleep. Tomorrow's the introductory event.” Kennard said indifferently then turned around and stepped towards a room with sofas and a bar. The three men followed behind him.
“You didn't send him home first ‘kan?” Nathan asked in a mocking tone. “It looks like you're so scared to show us the girl. Don't flatter us by saying you're afraid the girl is fascinated with one of us.”
“Are you being funny?” Kennard walked to the bar. “She is not the cheap girl you often meet. So, if he doesn't run away when he sees your looks, it's already good.”
The three young men who had just arrived looked at each other and then looked up at the same time.
“Ken, as long as the girl likes money, she can still be bought. And as long as it can still be purchased no matter how expensive it is, he remains cheap.” Benjamin who followed Kennard to the bar took a bottle of wine and poured it into a glass. “You know for sure it!”
Kennard's face turned grim, but he said nothing. He took a drink in Benjamin's hand and drank it in one gulp. Put the glass to the surface of the table with rough to cause a loud thumping sound.
“You guys have fun. I want a break.” Kennard said suddenly as he moved towards the door. There he stopped. “O yes, tomorrow you should wake up early and make breakfast. I happen to not have a waiter on this ship. So make yourself useful!” And without feeling anything wrong with his words he really passed.
Three young men, David, Nathan and Benjamin were stunned to hear that. Intentions want to disturb the pleasure of Kennard who ignored them, but now it backfires for themselves.
David suddenly laughed, between feeling funny and upset. “Look, he even made us servants. I became more curious about the girl. Looks like he pampered her a lot.”
Outside the door of the room, Kennard finds Lisle leaning against the wall. As soon as he saw her, the girl hurriedly wiped away the tears.
Kennard said nothing. He knew Lisle must have heard Benjamin say to the point of being so sad. Actually those words he also said it, first, before meeting Lisle.
But now he knew there was something to buy but never really own.

Lisle walked behind Kennard half-hidden. As soon as he reached the dining room door he stopped. “Can't you find them? I'll be in the room.” Lisle reluctantly meets Kennard's three friends.
Last night, unable to sleep, Lisle decided to take a walk outside and accidentally passed the room where the four people had gathered. He peeked inside and saw the three guests. Not an ordinary person, he said. But the people who can be very close to Mr. Kent are certainly not ordinary people. Not wanting to get involved in their meeting, Lisle intended to leave. But before passing from there, he had heard Benjamin's words about ‘the cheap’ girl, so he felt very embarrassed if he had to meet them. Surely their views on him would be very demeaning.
“They're my friends. I can't hide you from them. They will know for a long time too. Their smell is as sharp as a hunting dog.” Kennard held onto Lisle's arm, pulling her gently into the dining room.
“But...” Lisle was about to refute but they had already arrived inside the dining room.
The three young men there seemed busy. Some lifted some dishes from the kitchen to the table. Someone has set up the eating equipment. And someone else is taking something out of the fridge. They seem accustomed to that. As each of them sees the arrival of Kennard and Lisle, the three stop their activities.
Lisle spontaneously hid behind Kennard, avoiding all the eyes that were watching him, hoping to be transparent so that no one would see him.
Kennard grabbed the girl to his side, pulling a chair. “Sit!” abugn. He himself took a chair next to Lisle and sat there.
“Hai, I'm David.”
“I Nathan.”
“I Benjamin.”
The three waved at Lisle with a smile. Lisle returned their smiles while nodding awkwardly. To Lisle, the three of them were just as handsome and friendly. But recalling the words of one of them last night, Lisle finally just lowered her head.
At that time Lisle was wearing a plain white knee-length canal dress with a simple model. Her long hair was pinched one sideways and her face did not wear makeup. Anyone who saw her would be enchanted by her pure beauty. No exception to the three young masters who looked dumbfounded for a moment. Seeing Lisle did make people want to touch her with affection as well as passion simultaneously.
“It looks like you guys have been working hard preparing breakfast this morning.” Kennard paid no attention to his three friends who were still stunned to look at the girl next to him. If it wasn't for them being his friends, maybe he would have taught those who didn't also let go of the view.
“Ehem, Lisle, hopefully the cuisine will suit your taste...” Nathan spoke after blinking a few times trying to become accustomed to the scene before him. For him the cold Kennard paired with a girl as gentle and innocent as this was an interesting rare sight. “You can order any kind of cuisine you like. There's nothing Benjamin can't cook.”
Benjamin who sat at the end of the table coughed to hear his name. He was regretting what he said last night about Lisle. To him right now, the girl did not seem like a cheap girl.
“Not really. But you can mention your favorite food, I'll try to cook it for you.” Benjamin replied in a low voice. He was indeed the chef who was trusted among the three men when they chose to gather and get rid of the servants. Although Kennard also has great cooking skills, the man will not be willing to cook for the four of them.
Kennard stared cynically at Benjamin. The man who spoke ill of Lisle last night is now trying to take the girl's heart. He knew David the womanizer wouldn't want to miss.
But the words that came out of David's mouth were, “Lisle, how long have you known each other?”
Lisle who was looking up at Kennard beside him while thanking him for helping him pour juice not expecting the question.
“ Uh, emm... new half a month...” He realized it was too soon for a relationship to be as close as it is now. Lisle lowered her head not daring to look at the people around the table.
Hearing Lisle's reply, David made no comment, but he looked at Kennard with an accusatory look. ‘You must have done something to this little girl!”
Stared at like that, Kennard just grinned. He casually picked up a piece of salad and chewed it.
“Honey, since they are here, we can really relax without having to think about cooking something.” Kennard said as he continued his feed.
I heard the words of several people almost simultaneously.
The breakfast finally went ahead without much more talk. The three young masters witnessed Kennard's gentle treatment of the girl several times. They could hardly believe it if they didn't see it for themselves. And Lisle's attitude that sometimes seemed embarrassed by Kennard's treatment made the three become anxious and wanted to leave the ship immediately.
When the breakfast was over and Lisle helped pack the utensils and put them in the sink, David walked over to him. His words then left Lisle dumbfounded.
“LisLe, if one day you and Kennard break up, you can find me.” He said while leaning on the sink casually.
