Khan's lips wanted to smile when he heard Shanum's words. The man perfectly understood the passion his girl felt, because she also felt the same way. That passion strikes twice as much since he swore in marriage. The ancient words he said back then before Shanum's father seemed to be related to their bond.
Now their bond is stronger, and that destiny cannot be changed. Khan was even very grateful, because being a lucky person can find his soul mate.
"Here" said Khan, holding Shanum's shoulder. "Let me help you stand up."
"You are now my husband" whispered Shanum, looking down at Khan in amazement as they stood.
"You are truly my husband."
Khan slid Shanum's black hair back behind his ears. "Yes, that's right."
"You sure you're my husband?"
"We've already discussed it" Khan replied.
Silent.
"Unfortunately I'm disappointed, Adri." Shanum suddenly uttered those words.
Confused, Khan frowned. "What?"
Shanum looked up to see Khan's face. "I missed the wedding ceremony, and I'm very disappointed."
Khan sighs.
He had just realized the meaning of the girl's words. Now he must try to change that disappointment with happiness. Khan did not want any reason to make Shanum leave him.
"You want us to get married again?" ask Khan. The man grabbed and cupped Shanum's cheek with his powerful hand. The girl was unable to move. All he could do was let Khan raise his head until he stared into the sharp eyes he believed could read his soul.
Shanum was trembling in Khan's arms. Then, the man lifted Shanum into his arms and walked towards the door.
Initially, Shanum could not think from behind the pleasant feeling brought about by the powerful arm surrounding him with that heat, inflicted by a man who actually raised him, he said, and so easily to do that. But when they entered the elevator, Shanum suddenly regained his senses.
"Stop, Adrian!" shanum said as he asked to come down. "Where are you taking me?" snapped Shanum.
Khan stopped and looked at Shanum gently. "You ask for a remarriage, then we'll do it. I'll take you to your parents. Then we can swear again" Khan said briefly.
"I don't think so," Shanum said in an annoyed tone.
Khan looked at him confusedly. "But you said..." Khan paused for a moment and looked at Shanum, feeling astonished.
"No, I want to go back to the room. Now put me down before I get really mad!"
It's good that Khan took the unilateral decision to remarry without preparation.
And the wedding was just about exchanging vows in front of his father and mother, without parties, without bridal attire, and without invited guests. Shanum's dream wedding was like someone buying shoes. You pick your shoes, it's appropriate, then just pay at the cashier. How laughable!
Their love journey alone is difficult, full of twists and turns, the wedding must be that easy. Shanum's heart becomes irritated made by Khan who is very insensitive to his wishes.
Then, to Shanum's surprise, Khan said. Feeling a little better once his feet touched the floor safely, Shanum pressed the elevator button to return to the top floor.
Now they were looking, and somewhat parallel, even if there was someone who could be on par with a man who possessed such natural power and authority. Suddenly the full impact of Khan's presence hit Shanum again.
Even though he was still with that guy. Shanum still could not believe his dream had come true. Although the process is strange and without his consent remains disliked by Shanum.
Oh my God, he and Khan have really gotten married. Again the girl murmured in her heart. Now he is convinced, because Khan had shown his memory when taking the oath before his father, and also witnessed by people who mostly he did not recognize.
"I don't understand, Shasha?" khan asked at last. The man was busy thinking, figuring out what Shanum really wanted.
As the elevator opened, Shanum darted straight to his nursery, followed by Khan behind him.
After reaching the room back, Shanum sat by the bed. The girl looked at Khan with a tense expression.
And Khan swallowed the pain that made his throat choked, his face looked cloudy. "You can do whatever you want. Just tell me what you want."
"Then I want you to go."
Khan lowered his arm to the side of his body. "Except that," he was tired.
Frustrated, Shanum began to walk back and forth. His hormones finally came back under control and his mind became clearer, he so wanted a solution. But no matter how hard he tried, it seemed that not a single one had appeared.
How to explain to the man that he wants a confession. Which of course should be known by everyone. He did not want their marriage to be covered up as if there was a scandal that had to be hidden from the eyes of the world.
Severe pain began to throb at his temples. It seems that the effects of the fall were beginning to be felt. His body was still weak, he did not dare to use his healing power. Maybe he'll just take some medicine after this.
"I hope you don't..."
Shanum heard Khan speak. And Khan's voice disappeared, not forming a single whole sentence.
Shanum turned his back to look at Khan, curious to follow up the man's words. But until some time passed, Shanum did not hear his words.
"What?" ask Shanum.
The man swallowed. "I hope you don't cancel our marriage" Khan repeated. "Although your father actually said this marriage was only temporary." An anxious and half-angry expression on Khan's face told Shanum that the man did not like to feel helpless.
Temporary wedding...
In his dream, though, it was never revealed that he would marry under contract. Because Shanum doesn't like to play with that supposed sacred bond.
"Did you tell me why you decided that?" tanya Shanum was suspicious.
"No. But I think he still doesn't like me" Khan replied, shrugging his shoulders.
"Do you agree with Dad's wishes?" ask Shanum again.
"Of course not." Khan shook his head loudly.
"So, are you going to leave me?" Repeated the question.
Shanum seemed to think. Then he said, "For the time being no. Don't know." While pulling his shoulders.
Khan was relieved. At least for now he could still hold Shanum by his side.
"Well, it looks like I have to keep convincing my wife that I can make her unable to leave me" she said with a sexy, seductive smile.
That smile...
Shanum. That guy is really handsome when he smiles. How he wished Khan never smiled like that to another woman, because that man's smile could make the world stop for a moment.
"You're good-looking when you smile, Adri" Shanum said. Hearing that compliment, Khan's smile disappeared. His gaze was more on Shanum like a starving predator who had just found his next meal.
Oh not anymore! He was wrong to lure the man.
"Em, you better go tell people that I'm conscious." Shanum tried to divert the urge by driving the man away.
"I can't go, even if I want to," whispered the man clenching Shanum's hand to kiss her on the back of her fingers.
The electric current seemed to be creeping on Shanum's back. And before he could move, Khan had already hugged him and given him a hot kiss and messed up the soul.
Instinctively, Shanum closed his eyes and enjoyed the warmth of Khan's mouth, the man's breath. The taste evoked by Khan's arm that hugged him tightly to the chest, made Shanum's head swirl around because of it.
Oh, this guy knows how to kiss! The shrewdness of Khan's lips cannot be described. This was the third time the man had kissed her. And he was always out of breath. Khan kept his head away from Shanum's head while growling softly. The girl heard the man cursing himself inwardly.
With a face that showed deep irritation and aversion, Khan released Shanum and stepped back.
"I'm sorry. All this feeling is so hard for me to control." Khan looked at Shanum with a mixture of shy and passionate expressions.
Gee whiz...
The longer Shanum's mind gets more dangerous. The man's voice was so alluring. How could Shanum not notice it all this time? How could Khan make his voice so erotic?
Is it because of its heavy and thick accent?
No, there's more to it than that, but even Shanum's lifetime can't find it. He only suspects this with regard to the bond.
"Are you going to look at each other like that, until you don't realize the situation around you?" cetus Eej sighed, then he shook his head.
With hot cheeks, Shanum turned to his mother-in-law and noticed she was grinning at them.
"Since when have you been here, Eej?" ask Khan.
"Em, it seems that ever since the scene of you taking out the girl's lips, son," he replied frankly without the slightest care.
Khan raised next to his eyebrows. "You seen him?" The man should be ashamed to have an audience. But Shanum saw that there was no expression on Khan's face.
Eej nodded her head while smiling seductively.
"And did you come alone?" ask the man again.
"Yes, I came alone," the lady parrot, was visibly attracted to Khan's question.
Khan breathed a sigh of relief. If his father-in-law came along with his mother, Khan did not dare to imagine what would happen. The possibility that Shanum would be taken away from him would definitely be imminent.
While from Shanum's side, the girl felt like burying her head somewhere hearing the man's mother's words. But Khan shamelessly looks ordinary.
Eej stepped closer to Shanum. "How are you doing, Shanum? My son didn't do anything weird to you, did he?" Eej tried to divert the awkward atmosphere by throwing a question to Shanum. Although the questions of the two women still made Shanum remember the turmoil he still felt towards Khan.
Shanum. "It's better, Eej. Although still a little weak." The girl replied with a timid tone of voice. He did not dare to answer the woman's second question, because it was too personal.
"And has my son done anything strange, Shanum?" reworked. Eej continues to pursue her with questions she doesn't want to answer.
Khan sounded a loud snort. "Enough, Eej. Don't make him feel embarrassed. Shanum is my wife after all. Is it forbidden for a husband to be intimate with his wife?" The man immediately responded. He understood, Shanum felt irate to answer that question.
"No really. I just feel sorry for Shanum. He just recovered from his pain. Don't let him come back down just for serving your uncontrollable naps, son."
Khan's face flushed. "Em, I'm not like that, Eej. You think me as low as that" Khan said in a soft voice. Shanum felt like laughing to see the embarrassed face of the man which was very rare. And the girl actually felt uneasy being talked about like that by the two, as if she was not in that place.
"Thank God it didn't happen." The woman then approached Shanum. "May I see your scar, Shanum," Eej said with a smile.
Shanum nodded his head. She then shifted the clothes on her shoulder. The process was also assisted by Eej. The woman pulled Shanum's collar to the side, then lowered it, and luckily the collar of the clothes Shanum was wearing was quite wide and elastic, so it was easier to shift.
When the smooth skin was plastered in front of the two. Eej was stunned, and so was Khan. The woman quickly returned Shanum's clothing position to where it had originally been. He did not want the collar of the clothes to be torn by his actions.
Eej turned towards Khan. He's amazed. "What have you done to him, son. Shouldn't the poison leave a mark? Is your power so strong that it leaves no trace of her?"
Khan shakes. "I don't know either. I did everything as Chinua's lead." Khan returned his mother's astonished look with a bewilderment that could not be covered.
"Err, could it be that all of that happened because of the interference of my power as well, Eej? Or the bond between us. For while in unconsciousness, I dreamed of meeting my ancestor, the elder brother of Chinua. He said that I should trust my soul mate. Because we complement each other perfectly." Suddenly Shanum spoke his mind.
Eej fell silent then looked towards Shanum and turned to his son. "Maybe it happened. In other words, you complement each other."
Eej patted his son's shoulder. "Your job is pretty heavy going forward, son. You have to convince your father-in-law. But I think you can do it" whispered Eej in Khan's ear.
"Princess, you're conscious." Suddenly there was a sound coming from the door. They all turned their heads, and saw that Dimas and Raisa were already standing at the door with faces of shock mixed with happiness.
Shanum who saw his parents were nearby immediately rushed towards them. The girl's body was greeted enthusiastically by the two. They hugged three of them tightly.
"You healthy, son? What are you feeling?" Raisa asks while examining her daughter's body.
Shanum chuckles amusedly. "I'm fine, Mother. Don't hold it like that, it's ticklish" Shanum protested.
Then Raisa laughed. "Thank God, son. My God, I'm so glad to see you're cured of that poison."
"Okay, then, we can immediately prepare for the return home. I can't wait to return to my homeland" Dimas said with a happy face.
Silent mood.
Shanum immediately let go of his embrace. His arms drooped to the side of the body.
"Sorry Dad, Shanum can't. Your daughter already has a husband. So from now on, wherever Khan is, Shanum will come." The girl answered straightforwardly.
Dimas' face paled immediately. The man stared intently at Khan. "You son of a bitch, I'm telling you this marriage is only temporary! Why do you dare touch my daughter outside the deal?!" snapped Dimas with growls.
"Dad!" Shanum called out with a shocked expression.
Khan gestured for Shanum to be quiet, so that he would give an explanation to Dimas. "I've never done that, sir. And I've never felt like I agreed on marriage in the meantime." The man replied in a calm tone. Even if there was a conflict in his heart, Khan did not show it.
"Huh, you must be lying. And you brash man, you know you're tickling like this I'm going to ask for a written agreement by then" Dimas said, with a tightened jaw and an angry backlash.
"No Dad, he's not lying. I said all these things to Dad, because I wanted this marriage" Shanum said, cutting off his father's conversation with Khan. The girl did not want her father to be prejudiced against Khan, and continued to urge the man.
"But.. hasn't that guy hurt you a lot, Princess?" Dimas stared in disbelief at his daughter. His voice turned soft. It was completely different from the tone of his voice when talking to Khan earlier.
Shanum sighed. He then spread his eyes. Look at everyone who was there. Everyone stared with different expressions. What is certain is that Shanum must straighten this out, so as not to progress in an uncontrolled direction.
"Shanum and Khan are soul-bound. We can't cancel it. Only death can break that bond. This soul tie doesn't explain how to choose us both. For sure me and Khan were not forced either. We need each other, Dad. Even our feelings may be deeper than that. I can't live without it, even without this soul bond. That's how far I feel about him." Shanum took his breath. His feelings were stirring, especially when he heard Khan's words in their bond.
Thank you, dear. Ilove you. And I can't live without you by my side.
The man's eyes emitted a deep expression that felt as if it was burning Shanum's entire body. Khan smiled faintly, and the meaning of the smile was conveyed to Shanum. The girl swallowed her saliva, her throat suddenly felt dry.
Shanum then turned back to Dimas. He had not finished telling her his entire heart. So that surge of passion still has to wait.
"If you keep separating me from him, I can't imagine what would happen to me. It's possible that madness will eat away at me all my life, or something bad happens. Is that what you want to happen to me, Dad?" shanum asked with a sad face.
