The Woman Ruler of the Altan Clan

The Woman Ruler of the Altan Clan
Chapter 17 the Batbayar Clan

Abbasid Island is not a myth. It is a place belonging to the Batbayar clan, having magic protectors that stretch for miles around the island, hiding it from human eyes.

No one is allowed to enter the island unless they have been invited by the queen.

And those who are foolish enough to try to sneak past the barrier will soon get an unpleasant lesson from Chinua Maedekhgui. A lesson that no one who still has common sense will ever learn. Mostly because they will die instantly.

On that day the wind blew very fast around the island, the waves rolled very high. It looked menacing, reflecting Chinua's mood. The Queen is seen pacing on a velvet tapestry in her throne room. The room was a large glass room that was very impressive. In the middle of the room was a pulpit with a golden throne.

On each side stood two men. They're flawless. It fits perfectly with the long silver hair that falls to their waist, and the face sculpted by the hand of an angel. With clothing that cannot cover the perfect bulge of muscles on their body. Both are perfectly trained to not show emotions without permission. Absolutely perfect. The Queen demands only the best.

Not that Chinua cared to catch a glimpse of them. Instead, she continued to move, the delicate sea-blue dress she wore floated around her tall and slender body, while her beautiful curly black hair glimmered in a magic stone light shower, used as a room light. He seemed to stop moving as he sensed the arrival of another approaching man, and forced him to sit back on his throne.

Chinua looked calm, her beautiful face was unreadable, and her dark blue eyes were glittering. His expression did not change in the slightest as a tall man with unusual prowess with choppy golden brown hair, as well as deep blue-colored eyes tended to be purple, entered the room.

The man is an amazing creature, and would be the perfect match for Chinua, should he be interested. Observing silently, Chinua waited for the man to kneel before him and bow his head, until he allowed the man to raise his head back.

"You called me, my Queen?" Chinua ignored the voice that the man had trained to make every woman tremble. Chinua's long nails, dyed light blue, were tapped on the arms of a gilded chair. "Are you trying to avoid me, Osbert?" ask Chinua softly. Osbert raised his head to look at Chinua with an alert look. "No, I was so trembling with the desire to worship at your feet" said the man. Chinua grunting. "That's not what I want to hear."

The woman leaned her body forward. "Did you forget that I'd be told when you made contact with Stone." Osbert immediately paled under Chinua's sharp gaze. "Then why did you keep me waiting?" The man swallowed his saliva. "There's a little trouble, my Queen." Chinua resisted the urge to punch the man in the face with his fist. "Basic fool," growled Chinua. Chinua did not want to hear the sad reason. He wants results.

"What is the difficulty of such a simple task?" sue Chinua. The room suddenly felt cold. Osbert let out an agitated look before swallowing a lump in his throat. "Stone has not answered my calls, my Queen," he said softly.

"You opened a portal?" ask Chinua. "Of course, Your Majesty, but something is standing in his way" Osbert replied. "Something?" Chinua frowned. "I don't know what it is, my Queen." Osbert raised his hand, an expression pleading. "Like a shield I can't break" he continued.

The rage flowed rapidly in Chinua's blood as he slowly stood up from his throne. He had worked hard for hundreds of years to end his elder brother's bloodline. To make sure his enemies died without leaving a trace. And for a short time, Chinua believed it had succeeded.

Seven hundred years ago he killed the last of his cursed brother. But somehow, Chinua has failed. He could not be wrong when he felt the growing strength grow bigger. A power that should have been removed from this world, a power that could threaten his throne.

His fear returned to pursue him, and Chinua had already sent a message to one of his clan members. Five days ago Chinua received a message from Batu that he had found what Chinua was looking for. Stone also promised to take care of it. But Stone never arrived, and now Osbert admits that Stone could not be reached. Chinua grabbed Osbert's chin and jerked him until the man stood up. "It seems I overestimated your usefulness to me, Osbert."

Osbert's beautiful eyes widened. "No, I'll find him, I swear on my life" he said. With a cold smile, Chinua gave Osbert a soft rub on his cheek. "Toooooooooooooooo, Handsome. I decided to deal with this matter myself. Now get out of my sight!" Chinua raised a side of his hand, and a blue colored light emerged from that hand.

The man gasped, and ran out of the room. "Bas a coward!" Chinua Mumm. Waiting for the door to be closed by the guards, Chinua swung her head back and raised her frustration. He smashed one of the walls in the room until it was destroyed. How dare fate keep mocking him?

Chinua is a queen. The supreme leader in the Batbayar clan. She should have respected the world for her beauty and strength. He should be adored by everyone. Instead, he is forced to live his life in fear, that the final vengeance of his brother's descendants lurks from his hiding place.

"Scaring one of your men again?" ask a shrill female voice. "How many times should I warn you about your grumpy nature?" Turning his body, Chinua watched a woman with gray hair dangle beautifully from her head, and black eyeballs that looked empty. The woman still looks beautiful, with her age no longer young. The Queen smirked haughtily hearing those words.

Xanadu took Chinua from his home when he was a baby and raised her like his own son. But not because of the feelings of affection that prevented him from killing the woman. That woman was a great fortune teller. A power that is rarely possessed by them. Chinua had been patient all this time with her meddling attitude.

"It's offended" he said. "I'm not easily offended, I'm angry. I devoted my life of a thousand years to get rid of my elder brother's bloodline. I believe I killed the last of Chenghiz's descendants, when I chased him all the way to Java seven hundred years ago. They should all be dead, gone from the face of the earth.

Xanadu shook his head. "They're like rats. Always clever hiding and managed to survive extinction." Chinua hit his fist on the arm of his throne chair. "Not this time." "What are you gonna do?" ask Xanadu. "The last message I received from Batu came from Astrakhan" Chinua said.

Xanadu's smile faded. "You mean to go there?" Chinua narrowed her eyes. "We'll both be there." Xanadu hissed, his hands tightly holding onto the leafy green dress that matched the color of his eyes. "Leaving this island? No. gabe. That's dangerous" Xanadu said.

Chinua leaned over to slap the woman's face, her slap so strong that she lay on the carpet. "Perhaps you should think about that before you predict the appearance of the one who can kill me." The woman rubbed the blood dripping from the corner of her lips. He laughed very loudly, not feeling any pain from the slap.

"I only say based on my vision. If you're feeling restless, please enjoy your fears." The woman got up and went out of the room with her shoulders straight.

Leaning his head to the throne, Chinua turned his gaze to the storm outside the room. He could see from the large glass facing directly into the open sea. The building where he lived was at one end of the island, standing on a cliff overlooking the sea.

"I know you're out there, hiding from me like a coward, but I'm going to look for you" Chinua sighed, her hair twitching as her strength flowed out of her body. He could not see his prey, but he could feel a blazing force. "And when I find you, I'll torture you, and enjoy the moments the angel of death picks you up."

In addition to the fact that Shanum was stared deeply by Khan's mother's curious face, he was more agitated by the previous question posed by the woman. Questions go straight to the core without any further ado. "So how far are you with Khan?" Shanum was unable to answer that question until this very second. Because he also could not examine his true relationship with the man.

"Why are you quiet, Shanum?" Khan's mother still looked curious. "Em, Your Majesty." said Shanum hesitantly. "Call me Eej, which means Mother in our language" he cut. Shanum looked misbehaved, "Eej, I have nothing to do with Khan. We just accidentally met, and the meeting was always absolute chaos."

The woman frowned, she looked confused by the girl's intentions. "Eej must be confused, same with me. I'm also very, very confused." The girl smiled timidly as she looked at Khan's mother.

Mother Khan suddenly chuckled amusedly. He shook his head. "Don't tell me you met him because of the element of accident, giving birth to other meetings that continued afterwards. And always feel an interesting attraction in your subconscious. As if there was something invisible that brought you to always meet him. He must've been trying to keep you by his side and look for you if you left."

Shanum looked flabbergasted. "How do you know?" The woman then pulled Shanum's hand, she patted him. "That's a sign you and Khan are soul mates. You were created for each other. Me and Khan's father are like that." For a moment, Shanum enjoyed the warmth of the woman's hand. Reminds him of his own mother. But upon hearing the woman's last words Shanum was stunned and nervous, he shook his head.

"That's destiny, Shanum. You won't be able to escape from it" the woman said before she could stop her statement. The girl pulled out her hand, then she stood up from her seat. His eyes flickered in confusion, and stood stiff. "I'm sorry Eej, I don't dare to think in that direction. Because right now there's too much trouble I'm dealing with." Shanum looked at the woman with a smile.

Khan's mother took her breath heavily. "I don't mean to confuse and upset you. I know maybe it's too soon to talk about this. But I'm worried about him, he's my only son. Just one message for you Shanum. Please, don't hurt her heart, be patient with her. My son has so much pain. If you ever hurt her again, I'm not sure she'll live." The woman stared with a pleading look at Shanum. The girl simply nodded her head hearing Khan's mother's words.

"All right, I'll go back to my room. You can stay here, or you can go back to your room, it's up to you" Khan's mother said softly. "I was here first Eej" Shanum replied. The woman nodded her head, and opened the door. The sound of door clicks on the lid sounded. Shanum now lives with Khan in the room. Shanum sat back down, he looked at Khan sadly. Shanum closed his eyes for a while before taking a deep breath.

"Are you really my soul mate, Khan?" muttered. Soul mates are a very deep bond, so permanent that they are respected more than others. It is rare, and precious. Shanum still can't believe he's Khan's soul mate. The soul mate is worth it, in harmony, at least in some ways. Like Khan and Sarna, they were supposed to be soul mates.

Shanum looked back at the man who was still closing his eyes, "You need to wake up Khan. I can't stand to see you dying because of me." Tears slowly dripped from his eyes. Shanum tried to wipe it, but in vain, the clear droplets kept coming down, unstoppable. This man before him had always looked cold and strong, but deep down in his heart Shanum knew, that man was just playing a show, to cover up all the fragility in his soul. The fragility that is also now realized owned by him.
