"Hallo, yes Dad." "You must have just woken up, Princess." Shanum laughed softly at his father's words He was indeed awakened by the sound of a call on his cell phone that morning. Shanum fixed his grip on the cellphone handle and leaned on the pile of pillows on the bed. He misses his mother and father.
"How are you and Mom?" "Better, because now you can hear your voice, Princess. How you doing at Khan's. What the hell are you guys doing?"
Shanum recounted his activities during his stay at Khan's house with his two best friends, and skipped parts about his complicated relationship with the man. "The man was very good Dad. He doesn't mind us ruffling his mansion." Shanum told me while laughing amusedly. "Don't bother anyone else. He's been so good at saving you and letting you stay in his house. And how long do you live there?"
"No Dad, he doesn't feel bothered. We are here very well served. You don't have to worry, we're fine. For when we stayed here, I didn't know Dad. Khan let us stay until we got bored."
"What do you mean until you get bored. That man has no particular intent on any one of you right, Shanum." Father said his full search words as usual. Shanum seemed to swallow his saliva, it was hard to lie to father. "Em, about that matter Shanum doesn't know Dad. The man looked polite and did not try to get close to us. He's a busy man Dad, we rarely meet him" Shanum said in a calm voice.
"You're sure, don't let me find the opposite." Shanum was getting nervous, it was fortunate that the father did not wear Vicall in their conversation this time, otherwise the father would have been able to see his pale face holding back the nervousness, having lied.
"Dad sorry, Shanum has to go to the bathroom first huh. There's nature's call to Dad's toilet." "Okay, then I'll close first. Immediately to the toilet yes, the smell has been smelled until here tuh. Bye, Princess." Dad chuckled while hanging up his phone.
Shanum sighed. He was glad the conversation was over. But guilt still filled his heart, he had avoided and lied to his father. He covered up his relationship with Khan from his parents.
Shanum was so affectionate and longed for both of them that his chest hurt. But the girl wasn't ready to be frank about Khan. Shanum remained seated on the bed in silence, thinking everything was dizzying. She thought about it for a few minutes, then the girl smiled as she recalled Khan Adrian's last words, "We'll handle it together."
Then. Shanum immediately regained his senses from his daydream, and rushed into the bathroom. He had to get ready for his meeting after breakfast with Khan. The girl was happy, Khan had made herself feel like she was in the air.
Shanum exited the bedroom, walking down the corridor towards the breakfast room. He stopped at the doorway, his eyes glued to Khan's back while he stood in front of the window and looked at the view of the garden outside the room.
There is no one else in the dining room, his two best friends are yet to be seen, as are Dario and Taban. Mrs Khan is back in town. There are urgent things to take care of. That's the information Shanum got from Dario yesterday.
Shanum's heart rate is getting faster. His shadow showed that the man was thinking. His eyes were glaring and his mouth somber. The position of his body that was straddling showed unrest, as if he was in confusion. He was seen keeping distance and distance, a man who was alone.
Khan sensed Shanum's presence, or perhaps he felt a connection between them. He turned around, then flinched. Shanum took the opportunity to observe him, his eyes exploring him. That guy looks very powerful.
Very handsome, and sensual until his eyes hurt just by looking at him. The black hair that framed his face made his fingers stretch because he wanted to touch it. And the way the man looked at Shanum, made the girl's pulse soar.
"Shaa." Khan approached him, his steps graceful and powerful. The man grabbed Shanum's hand and raised it to his mouth. His gaze was very sharp and hot, very watchful. The taste of her lips on Shanum's skin gave her arms goosebumps and aroused something churning inside her chest.
"Hey. You can get out of bed." The amused glint warmed Khan's eyes. "Hi too. I am very strong, in fact my body is different from humans in general. You look amazing this morning, Shasha." Shanum sighed happily at the compliment.
"What if we just go straight. I was very hungry" Shanum said. Khan blinked his eyes at Shanum-who told him that his words were double-meaning. A man can misperceive his words.
Suddenly Shanum heard a loud chuckle from the direction of the door. It turned out that his two best friends, Taban and Dario, were already clustered at the door. They eavesdropped on the conversation, and looked towards the two with a view of 'you guys caught red-handed'.
Shanum felt his face heat up, they must have been thinking nothing of him and Khan. The man seemed unconcerned, he then pulled Shanum, holding him towards the dining table. Pulling a bench, and sitting Shanum there. Then he himself sat next to the girl.
Both Shanum's best friends Taban and Dario have sat on their respective bench of choice. Khan asked what Shanum wanted to eat first, then he began serving Shanum by taking the food that the girl said.
Taban and Diva looked gawky. Farah smiled smirk, and Dario only smiled faintly. Farah and Dario seemed to have understood about their closeness. Throughout the breakfast, Shanum seemed to have difficulty swallowing his food. How could he digest his food, if beside him seemed a handsome man who never let go of looking at him and busy serving him. Shanum seemed to want to escape from there and hide somewhere.
"God, Sir. You've tortured my best friend enough. Didn't you see his face was red from earlier because of embarrassment. You make him uncomfortable all the time this breakfast," Farah said, shaking her glass at the table.
Khan frowned, he immediately turned his head to the side, the man looked at Shanum's face closely. "Great, Shasha. You don't like my treatment?" ask Khan. Shanum looked nervous, he was twitching uneasily on his stool. "I'm sorry, I did something wrong again. I just want you to know that you're valuable to me." Khan rubbed his face, looking regretful.
Shanum felt bad, he ventured to grab the man's hand on the table. He shook his head. "I'm just not used to this," said the girl softly. The man clasped Shanum's hand tightly. "Well, I promise I won't embarrass you again."
Khan turned to the people at the table and said, "I want to tell you something. Shanum and I are trying to get into a relationship, which means we are now lovers." All four have different reactions. Diva gasped, and Farah frowned. Dario and Taban were just staring curiously at Shanum.
The breakfast ended in a strange atmosphere. The room was silent shortly after Khan announced their relationship. No one dared to talk further. After Shanum finished with his breakfast, Khan immediately brought Shanum to his private room. According to Khan, there is a lot to talk about from heart to heart. Khan took him to the study where they last fought.
Khan headed for one of the bookshelves, pulling one of the books. And there seems to be a lever behind the book. He turned the lever, then the shelf split open. Another door appeared behind the open shelf earlier. Khan pressed his palm, and the door was opened by him.
Shanum watched Khan's behavior in silence, he no longer felt foreign. This mansion does hold many mysteries that can not be peeled one by one, but he can already explain it. The man then pulled Shanum's hand to follow him into something behind that door.
Khan was a warrior all his life. A clan leader who will ensure welfare for all his loyal followers. He will take what is offered and sometimes heedless of the consequences. Just like the time he received Sintai's love, he would go ahead even if the whole world was against him.
Only Coloring could make him stop. If not at the woman's request, Khan would never have left her. The man will always keep the commitment he has set in his heart. And what he wanted right now was Shanum Qamira. Other problems related to their closeness will be solved one by one.
Especially after he heard from Ulagan about the woman who disappeared without a trace. Killed his entire family in a fire. And the dream he had when he was in a coma. When Khan woke up in Shanum's arms, he felt that he had betrayed Sarni, and was ashamed of Shanum. The girl looked at her fragile and open position back then. He subconsciously dodged, to cover it up.
Khan still remembered the sad and hard-hit look on the girl's face at the time, and he felt something hit him in the face. Especially when the girl said she was going to leave, to return to her country. Khan believes that some of his life was forcibly taken from his body, the pain is incredible. He could not accept that if the girl left him, he would never be able to let her go.
"Sit, Shasha. Don't be afraid I just want us to have Privacy." The man then pulled up his stool and sat opposite Shanum. The man looked at Shanum and smiled nervously. "What's Adri?" ask Shanum. "I want to tell you the truth about myself. Are you ready to listen to him?"
"I want to, and I will listen to him. Otherwise, I wouldn't be here right now." The man nodded and gulped with difficulty. The man pulled Shanum's palm and rubbed it. "I have many secrets, Shasha. A secret that might scare you." The man took a deep breath before starting to speak again.
"I was born six hundred and thirty-five years ago. I've seen a lot of changes in human civilization. How life goes each year is a tremendous challenge. I am the supreme leader of my clan, his name is the Altan Clan. I've been leading this clan since my father died six hundred years ago. "
The man then fell silent, seemingly choosing his words. "I'm not an ordinary Shasha human, we have many differences with humans in general. Some call it a miracle, but others say it is a curse. We could die, if the time had come. Our metabolism is very different. We do not age easily, easily recover from wounds and do not get sick easily. We never had a problem with it. We try to live our best during the time outlined."
Khan saw Shanum's reaction which looked stunned. The palm of the girl's hand trembled in her grasp and felt extremely cold. Then the man pulled Shanum's palm to his lips and then kissed him. Shanum flinched, suddenly he became warm. "But I can assure you that I will never hurt you. So, don't be afraid of me, Shasha." Khan smiled shadyly towards the girl.
The atmosphere again melted with those words, Shanum no longer felt afraid and nervous. "So you're saying, I'm dating an old grandpa so, gosh..." Shanum pretended to be shocked. Khan's lips began to twitch, then he chuckled in amusement at Shanum's words. "Well, you got this old man." He teased the girl.
Shanum bit his lip, he wanted to come laugh with the man, but held him back. "Don't tease me, Shasha. Keep biting your lips, and you can see what's going to happen" Khan warned, looking seriously at the girl. Shanum grunts. "Try it if you dare" he said. Khan's eyes instantly flashed, he could not resist a challenge being raised before him blatantly. "You're sure" said the man.
Shanum smiled smirk towards the man. Then unexpectedly, the girl pulled Khan's hand, and touched the man's palm along his delicate cheek. "Shaa." The man let out a sigh, a violent tension evaporating from his body along with that frustrating breath. "You cheated," he said hoarsely. Shanum smiled sweetly without guilt.
"Let's continue your story, Adri." The man took his breath back, he still smiled even though his body was still trembling. "Until where I was?" "Em, to try to live the best." "OK, besides that there are some of us who have more power." "Like a red light coming out of your body the other day?" cut Shanum. "Well, that's one of them."
"So it's not just that." Khan shook his head. "What are your strengths?" shanum asked curiously. "I can read minds, open portals to other places, change the weather, talk to animals, and other things." "Wow, that means you can read my mind."
"Unfortunately I can't." "can't? Why?" shanum asked in surprise. "I don't know. Maybe it's because you have a protective power inside you, Shasha. Usually I can't read the mind of someone who has power as well, they can put up a shield so that no one can enter their mind. If I may know, since when do you have it?"
Shanum threw a gentle gaze towards Khan which made the man smile. It feels good to smile often. It feels good to be with Shanum, Khan has been very happy since meeting the girl. "I had it from birth, my parents said I cried while glowing at birth. To the extent that the midwife who helped me with my birth ran away in fear."
"Thank you?" khan asked astonished. "Yes, then I also have this flower petal mark on my palm." Shanum showed the birthmark to Khan. The man looked to be frowning.
"I seem to have seen the sign, but where have you been?" The man tried to remember. "You've seen someone who has the same mark as this. Try telling me, Adri." Shanum looks excited. "Sorry, I forgot. I'll tell you if you remember yes" Khan replied. Shanum looked disappointed.
"Hey, I promise I'll try to remember, okay." Khan rubbed the girl's hair. "Adri.can I also be frank with you." Khan's eyes narrowed as he looked at Shanum, assessing and reconsidering the situation.
"Is there something you're hiding from me? About another man, maybe?" Shanum pursed his lips sweetly, "While showing signs of being possessive, Adri." The man snorted. "No, I'm just asking."
Shanum approached the man and looked at him deeply. "You're my first man, Adri. I've never had a boyfriend before." Khan was fixated in silence, the man's gaze looking astonished. "You're sure it comes from Shanum's present. I doubt you're twenty years old" seduced Khan. Shanum hit the man's shoulder while pouting.
"Just son, I am twenty-two years old. And it's real not fake. I too am from the present. It's not like you, Old Man, a prehistoric product," Shanum poked his tongue out at Khan. "I'm not that old as Shasha, prehistoric times are much older than my time," Khan corrected with an amused smile.
"By the way, you can continue with the secret you wanted to reveal, Shasha." Shanum remembered his words earlier, then his face again looked tense. The girl got up from her stool. And walk towards one of the tables in the room. He turned his body, and leaned against the table.
"I've actually dreamed of you Khan. I've told you before. But at that moment you were immediately angry, so I stopped explaining the full version to you. Now I'll say everything."
Then Shanum began to tell all his dreams from the beginning until the latest. Khan listened seriously, looking a frown on his forehead. After Shanum finished, Khan approached the girl, then hugged her. "You're so brave, Shasha. Very strong and honest. You are a miracle. My miracle." Khan whispered his words in Shanum's ear.
"Do you believe my story?" Shanum pulled out Khan's embrace while looking at the man. "I believe, although I don't understand why you can dream about Sintai and about me. Because you're in a different country and age than we are."
Shanum stroked the man's brows which were furrowed with his thumb. "I was hesitant to tell you at first, Adri. I hope you never know." He caught the girl's hand and pressed his fingers against her lips. "I have to know everything, every part of you, inside out, every detail."
"Huss, you're not my husband yet. It can't be like that. After all a woman should have a secret," Shanum teased while blushing shyly. "You can't have secrets with me. I'll have you, Shasha. That's fair because you have me, too."
"And what about your secrets, Adri?" His face turned into a flat mask, an action done so easily, that Shanum could guess that it was already his habit. "I told you my secret. All I thought was me, all I thought I needed..."
Shanum. "We're gonna figure out who I really am together. You're the only one who knows who I am."
"But I don't know, Adri. Not particularly. I'm trying to get to know you, learn it little by little, but you're still a big mystery to me" Shanum said. "She... You can ask him. Tell me what you want to know about me-" Khan swallowed his saliva and appeared to be smiling faintly. "I'll try to be honest with you. Just don't ever let go of me" he said, staring at Shanum with a look of despair.
Shanum. "This guy-he can destroy me easily. A few words, a look of despair, and I was immediately hurt," said Shanum. He touched the man's face, his hair, his shoulders. Khan remained unmoved from his spot, the man closed his eyes. Feeling every touch Shanum did. Shanum smiled sadly, this man was once injured, and he could feel how deeply it destroyed him.
