Khan was unable to concentrate. All he needed was one message sent to him to ruin his entire day. Khan opened his phone and found a picture of Shanum smiling there.
The photo was taken while they were visiting her rose garden. The girl was so beautiful sitting on the grass surrounded by roses. He rubbed the screen of the phone and looked at it longingly. Khan was eager to rub the girl's cheek.
Shanum and his two best friends are missing. They had checked out of the hotel without being noticed by the men. "Damn. This is because of that stupid matchmaking." Khan hit the table in front of him with his power. The table cracked and flushed.
He has to fix all this. But really, he doesn't know how. Very little experience with women. Throughout his life, money, and power fixed his problems. With a lot of money comes more power and faster solutions.
His mother's words were stored in his head. Slowly. He had to slow down his personal life or watch it circling uncontrollably. The disappearance of the girl was a sign of the impending chaos.
Khan turned his chair as he gazed out toward the city. He was in his office in downtown Astrakhan. The sky was gray, not at all as usual. Fits his current mood, Khan thought. Shanum's mood as well, he said.
Khan smiled miris. The goals could be explained easily a few months ago, but now they are mixed with emotions and consequences. Having Shanum by his side for these three months, supporting him in all situations. He took care of her when she was injured and healed her. It really makes him addicted.
His friends, and the people in Khan's mansion adored the woman. They didn't hesitate to bury him if he hurt Shanum. Even her mother was on the girl's side. Eej doesn't want to talk to him when he finds out he's hurt him.
A plea, the expression of a message through a mobile phone application, the flowers. These things will not make the relationship back tightly. He wants his relationship back. He noticed his colorless office and thought of the mansion that housed the same empty and desolate life. He wants more.
And he wants to be with Shashanya. A plan began to form in his head. A plan that meant slowing down the plans of the elders and nobles. But he must find Shanum soon. Suddenly his throat was dry. Khan grabbed his coffee cup and sipped it.
Then the cell phone in his suit pocket buzzed. He thought about ignoring her before taking her out of his pocket to check on the caller. Dario's name appears on the screen. His hope is dashed, he still hopes the girl's name as a caller.
"Yes Dario," Khan replied in a cold voice and his usual feet. Silence found his ears. "Speak Dario, don't test the limits of my patience." Dario cleared his throat for a moment. "Sorry, Sir. The girl and her friends have returned to their country. He's using Sergei's private plane."
Stomach's decaying. And the cup in Khan's grasp was smashed to pieces. Blood flowing in his fingers mixed with coffee water. "Sir, are you still listening to me?" ask Dario.
"Yes" he said between the gnashing of his teeth. "I'm waiting for your next order, sir." Khan can't think at the moment. His brain feels dead. Hearing the girl return to her country had made her breath tight. "There is no further order from Dario."
"You're sure, why don't you go after the girl?" ask Dario. "I'll call you later, Dario." Connection was unilaterally severed. Khan stared at the wall before him with a blank look. His phone just slipped out of his grasp. And he doesn't care about it.
The sound of knocking on the door was also ignored. "You have a meeting soon..." The taban pecked at the door. "What's going on?" tanyakanya. Khan did not reply, his face cold and stiff. "Oh no. You must have contacted Dario."
Taban then advanced to Khan's table and pressed a number of numbers on the phone button there. "Please call the cleaning service to the Commissioner's office." Taban immediately hung up the phone and searched the medicine box inside the toilet. He found emergency medical supplies, then approached her again.
"May I treat your hand, sir." Khan did not flinch. Taban breathed. He then pulled Khan's hand. He began cleaning his hands with alcohol. Khan hissed feeling a stinging. "If you want that girl you better go after her to her country."
"I can't." Taban stopped his movement in Khan's wound. "What do you mean you can't?" Taban narrowed his eyes. There was a pause, the man did not answer immediately. He seemed to think about what he should say.
"I have promised the elders and the council of nobles not to go anywhere but in Astrakhan and Och. Until I choose the women who are candidates" Khan said. Taban looked at him as if he had gone mad, his mouth gaping, his eyes widening. "Are you serious?"
"Very," replied Khan flatly. And moreover, he was also only given six months to choose. Khan did not want to choose another. He really likes that girl, damn it, who's he lying to? He even adored Shanum.
This is the first time Khan has worshipped someone, truly adored him, and this feeling is unexpected as well as unplanned. Really, Khan wasn't sure what to do, especially since it was more than just a brief oceanic connection. Shanum is not just another country girl he likes instantly and is increasingly liked by her because of her extraordinary magic power.
"So what's your next plan?" Taban looked at Khan with a serious expression. "Are you going to forget about it and pick another girl?" ask again. "I will ignore your question" said Khan, looking boiling. "But really, Taban, if I can resist it I've done it from yesterday."
Taban's face hardened, he looked out the window, grumbling at something that sounded a little like a bunch of fucking men. "Well, it's up to you then. If you keep following the will of the old men" Taban said, sniffing his shoulders. "And I hope you can get out of this mess soon" he added.
The sudden dinner began when Khan returned to the mansion. Actually, Khan was uncomfortable with the disturbance. But seeing his mother's serious face, he became curious.
Khan sat between his mother and Turgen, and stared at the people at the table. Turgen came with Otgon and Zod. The three of them were arguably more often seen together than the other elders.
"I'm surprised you guys can also get out of Och town, Turgen." Khan pushed the food around his plate, obviously not interested in eating. "I think we've only spent two days with you since that meeting" Turgen said.
Khan's gaze drifted briefly to his mother and saw a tense expression on his countenance. "Well, so what did I miss?" tanyakanya. "They want you to give me three names this week. In order to immediately check whether all three are eligible to participate in the competition," explained Eej in a stiff voice.
Khan put his hand on his lap. His face was hardened, his eyes staring hard. "Aren't I given six months? Why do I have to submit a list of names?" Khan stared resentfully at the elders.
Turgen gave Otgon the code as the man seemed to open his mouth to answer. "The council of nobles asked for it. They want to see your seriousness in this matter." Otgon looked grimaced at Khan's cold and rigid gaze. The air in the room suddenly felt hot.
"Have they lost their mind? You think choosing three women is easy. I refuse!" snarl. Making a deal with the devil may be less risky than with them. Khan was getting furious at their arrogance.
"Like it or not, Great One. The council of nobles is respected and may be respected by the people. As you know, they may be sitting on opposite sides of how to organize and run a clan, they still follow the old pattern passed down through generations." His eyes were exploring the table while talking.
"But you all have one common bond, which is to preserve the wholeness and peace of our clan. What you do will reflect the board and vice versa. It would be best if you guys stayed in line. If there is a little friction, we can find the middle ground" Turgen continued.
The noble council is indeed colossal, and dangerous. Thought should go hand in hand with them twisting Khan's stomach like acid. "What are you thinking?" ask her mother slowly. The man looked at his mother with doubtful eyes. "I'm not sure about this matchmaking." She shook her head.
"Can this situation complicate our situation?" ask Eej to Khan. "Maybe not in a short time." But they always managed to get their wish. "Yes, I remember. Even in the time your father was in charge, they always wanted to interfere" his mother said.
Khan displayed a smile that he did not feel. His head was getting dizzy looking for a quick solution to silence their request. But nothing came to his mind. What's he supposed to do?
"Well..all right." The mother squeezed Khan's hand and turned to Turgen. "I have a suggestion for a middle path. We will notify the names of the desired candidates immediately. How much is requested?"
"It takes seven candidates" Turgen replied. "Okay, we'll give you those names next week, seventh at once." Khan began to argue, but his mother cut him off. "Trust me" he whispered. The man exhaled his breath. "You heard what my mother said" Khan said at last.
"Good." The three elders looked smiling with relief. "But I'm asking for another year's time for the competition to be done." Otgon frowned. "Why that long, Your Highness?" tanyakanya.
"Of course we need time to prepare everything. Because I'm going to hold and organize that competition. You and the noble council have no right to interfere. I won't let you fuck up my family like a few centuries ago. My husband was already a victim. Do you understand?" The look in the woman's eyes was very sharp. Punched the three agitated looking men sitting on their bench.
"Alright, we'll talk about this with the council of nobles again." Turgen broke the ice in the room. He stood up from his seat and nodded his head in a sign of respect.
"We say goodbye, the Great... Your Highness." Otgon and Zod follow Turgen's movements. "Thank you for the dinner" Zod continued. Khan and his mother nodded their heads. The three men headed for the dining room terrace door, and opened a portal there. Khan stared at their departure with a somber look.
Slowly Khan turned to his mother. "What's your plan, Eej?" The woman smiled gently. "I'm just trying to help my son who's upset." Khan scratched his head while smiling embarrassedly.
"Is it very visible, Eej," he asked. "I'm your mother, honey, there's no way I'm missing it." Khan took his mother's hand and clasped it tightly. "Tell me, Eej, how can I make him forgive me."
The woman rubbed Khan's cheek gently. "Give him time, son. But don't let go of your sight. You should keep an eye on him, even from afar. While the rest of you will arrange it."
"But how long, Mom?" ask again. "We have one year. And I'll make sure they agree with my wishes." The mother's eyes glinted sharply. His lips revealed a thin smile full of calculations. Khan shook his head while giggling amusedly. "I'm sure they'll bend their knees in front of you, Mother."
