The Woman Ruler of the Altan Clan

The Woman Ruler of the Altan Clan
Chapter 106 Exchange

"Stop! No need to talk too much!" Chinua attacked immediately. He threw a magic ball towards the masked man. But the man could pull him off easily. The ball of light turned to hit the wall that was behind the man, and smashed the wall.

Seeing the masked man being attacked, his entire army moved back. Shanum heard the sound of an explosion also from the direction of the door. The wall that supported the door was already shattered.

Out, Shasha. We better fight outside. It's dangerous to be here!

Shanum hears Khan's orders in their bindings. He's running. Run to Khan's side, get out of that castle. Throughout his journey, he and Khan fought many of the masked men. Shanum collaborated with Khan, kicking, hitting, attacking, and defending from attacks from various sides.

Shanum had glanced at Chinua was fighting directly against the masked man. He was amazed because the evil man could send a magic punch that made Chinua vomit blood. However, Chinua did not give up so easily, he again attacked ferociously.

Watch out for Shasha from your side! Don't let your guard down!

Shanum heard Khan's voice blaring in his head. He reflexively made a protector, until the sword that was about to cut off his head was blown off.

"Don't hurt that girl, you idiot!"

Shanum heard the masked man growling furiously at the man who had nearly killed him. His eyes were puffed up when he saw the man who attacked him earlier being knocked down by the masked man's attack. The masked man immediately punished in his own friend's place just because of Shanum.

Then Shanum refocused when someone tried to attack him. He dodged and smashed into their bodies, one after another with his strength. He could not let his guard down, more and more enemies came to this place.

In front of Shanum the yelling intensified, it seemed that Chinua's voice was giving command to his elite troops. Throughout his movements, Shanum parted ways with Khan.

Adri, where are you?

Shanum tried to call her husband through their bond. But there was no reaction from Khan. There's no way that guy can't hear it. The bond between them is perfect.

Khan should be able to hear it, unless they manage to knock him out. Shanum began to worry that something had happened that would endanger Khan's life, and hoped that his conjecture would not be true. May her husband remain fine without any lack of anything.

Shanum reached the edge of the cliff leading to the sea. It seemed like the herd had purposely separated and herded him to the edge of the sea. Shanum looked nervous, he had entered a trap. What's he supposed to do?

Shanum stared at the herd that was now gathered before him.

"You better give up. We were ordered to take you alive" said one of the men.

Shanum grinned. Then he floated up while raising his hand. Shanum closed his eyes, and opened them after a while. Her eyes seemed to turn golden in color.

Shanum faced the ocean, he summoned the guardian spirit of the ocean. He seemed to be guided by an invisible hand to chant the summoning spell. As if answering his call, the spirit rose. Shanum succumbed to the roaring force within his bones, blood and breath. He felt the spirit begin to fuse into him. Shanum made him submit to her.

He raised his hand high, the sea water behind him churned, then rose higher, forming a whirling tendril similar to one of the natural phenomena of wind tornadoes.

The herd stopped, fixated on the spot as Shanum spun to face them. Then the whirling vine followed him. Shanum directed his hand and the tendril attacked his enemies. The herd of black magicians instantly spun around, fleeing. But the water from the ocean is faster.

And Shanum balanced his speed, as he ran with the tendril. The sea is getting more turbulent, the wind is blowing very hard. One by one the members of the herd fell down, water crammed into their esophagus, drowning them.

Shanum just had to appoint the other party, then the water tendril immediately carried out its execution. As for the flocks flying in the air stopping flying, they were swayed by the wind. But they were still able to launch an attack on Chinua's forces.

Shanum looked up, he raised his hands parallel to his head and clenched his hands. The water muffled them, their clothes, their faces, and turned to ice.

The ice is so cold that it remains frozen under light, under the hot spot of their power. Ice from the merciless part of Shanum, no sympathy for what this herd has done and is doing to the Batbayar Clan. The girl had another ability to freeze water, the power of it hissing powerfully overpowered every cell in her body.

In a frozen solid state, dozens of the herd simultaneously fell to the earth and disintegrated scattered on the cobblestone path. Shanum did not need to look at one by one, the power already knew which side of the comrades and which one was the opponent. He only gave orders at the beginning and monitored the destruction of the opposing side on the ground.

Those in the sky tried to escape, but Shanum's strength was inevitable. The power he displayed right now was truly terrifying. The opponent who was passed by Shanum was swept away, both on land and in space. Circumstances turned Shanum into a sadistic executor.

Elsewhere, Osbert fights while keeping Shanum's two best friends alive. They managed to sneak onto the secret passage in the castle, but at the end of the exit, they were waiting for a group of men from the black mage herd. It seemed like every side of the castle was already surrounded by the group.

If this is the case, he will have to fight. Though Osbert's plan was, he would bring the two Shanum friends to a safe place first without intersecting with the herd.

If only he could open a portal it would probably be easier. The two girls will be returned by him to Astrakhan. Unfortunately, the access portal was closed by the Queen to avoid the arrival of the next group of herds entering Abbasid.

Osbert saw Farah helping him with his martial arts movement. While Diva looks pale while sheltering behind Farah and Osbert.

Osbert was stunned when he saw Farah manage to take the sword of one of the enemies and injure several people from the herd.

However, although Farah was very shrewd, her strength was not comparable to the strength of the enemy. The girl was just an ordinary human who had a limit of strength. Now Osbert saw traces of fatigue had emanated from him. Moreover, Farah had to fight while carrying a burden, the Diva.

Seeing this, Osbert began to feel respect for Farah. The commoner girl who was looked down upon by him turned out to be a warrior. Now, Osbert stared with different glasses at the girl.

"Hey you guys, get back inside the secret passageway. I'll make a protection spell. Never get out of there" cried Osbert.

Hearing Osbert's premonition, Farah immediately ran back into the secret passageway while pulling the Diva's hand. Once they were inside, Osbert cast a spell, and a glitter-colored ray emerged from both hands, covering the entrance of the secret passage like a solid stone wall.

Seeing that, the other party grew increasingly violent. They called for reinforcements. Osbert stared wryly at the additional troops who would certainly attack him.

"You can do it, Osbert. Prove that you are a man, even if your face is beautiful" cried Farah.

Hearing Farah's words, Osbert snorted loudly. Just now that he was amazed by the girl, now that his cherry mouth was back again pissed him off.

"Oh shut up, you little girl! I don't need those words of encouragement from your poisonous mouth." Osbert replied in a cold tone of voice.

Then Osbert could no longer listen to the absurd words that came out of the girl's mouth. He was busy fighting the herd that attacked him.

"What are you doing? Don't upset the guy, Farah. We depend on him now. What if he abandoned us here just because of your lack of education?!" The Diva nagged at Farah with an anxious expression.

Farah rolled her eyeballs. "He can't leave us here. Usually a subordinate is obedient to his superior. Queen Chinua has ordered her to take us to safety."

Suddenly the sound of a bang was heard in their ears following the shock that made the two girls jerk. Diva was directly on the ground. While Farah squatted while circulating her gaze around carefully.

Farah saw a woman chanting a spell while releasing a pitch-black energy ball. That woman is so cute. Sweet and adorable face. The entire appearance of the woman was very deceiving, with a tiny body but capable of unleashing such a powerful force without blinking.

Only the radiance of his eyeballs and facial expressions reflected his strength. Those eyeballs were looking viciously shiny, with a sadistic expression accompanying every magic power he did.

Farah circulated a look for Osbert's whereabouts. Then his eyes widened. He saw Osbert was floating in the air, his body surrounded by many black tendrils.

The man moved in rebellion wanting to break away while growling furiously. Her pretty face looked dark, giving off anger. However, the tendrils that surrounded him tightly bound his body.

Farah was surprised to feel like dreaming, able to see the impossible in front of her eyes. Although he should have experienced it a lot since his friendship with Shanum. But his little heart as an ordinary man is still accustomed. From the beginning Shanum told me about his strange dream, everything already felt amazing and a little creepy too.

Eventually Osbert managed to rid himself of the tendril. The man froze the tendrils into ice, then smashed them into pieces. He shouted as he spread his body, arms and legs in the air, then landed dazzlingly on the ground.

The sound of explosions was heard again along with the release of the man. Farah immediately squatted down while covering both her ears with her arms. His face lowered, he closed his eyes. While the Diva has not dared to change position since.

Farah felt that someone was standing nearby. He looked up, and found a sword eye immediately affixed to his neck by a rancid-looking man. Farah heard the voice of the conversation between the man, the cute woman and Osbert with a language she did not understand. But from the woman's gesture, she knew, that the conversation was in a tone of condemnation and threat.

Farah did not dare to move her head. He continued to stare to a point, toward Osbert who was fixed in his place standing while tightening his jaw and clenching his hands. Farah heard a soft cry from the side, where the Diva was.

Farah saw Osbert again rendered helpless by the opposing side. This time the man was wrapped by the black fog all over his body, leaving only his head and legs alone. The mist looked transparent but strangely stuck firmly onto Osbert's body.

Farah flinched as her arm was forcibly pulled by the man. He grimaced as he felt his neck being slightly scratched by the sword.

"Hey, slow down. You hurt that girl, you son of a bitch! Let them go, both are useless to you. They're just fucking in the wrong place." This time Osbert curses the ruthless man who draws Farah's hand with the language the girl now understands.

The ruthless man did not care, he continued to step while still pulling Farah roughly. Diva and Osbert were, of course, also forced to pull by two other men, following a cute woman who walked at a fast pace in the front row.

On the other side of the island, not far from the city center, Shanum is still seen killing the herd of criminals who attacked. He moved with no feeling. As he moved, he shouted in Mongolian to make the inhabitants of Abbasid city immediately move away.

Many of those who had been in the fight went straight away and gave Shanum a chance to take over the situation. They watched from afar with astonished expressions. Didn't expect there to be a woman who possessed magic equivalent to maybe even more than their queen.

Shashas... Where are you?

Shanum stopped stepping, he heard Khan's voice in their bondage.

I'm downtown, Adri. Where are you?

My position is not far from you. Wait for me there, Shasha.

Okay.

Shanum spread his gaze. Trying to find her husband. But Shanum's silence was met with cunning by the other party. They tried to attack him again. And this time in crowds.

Shanum grinned. They think he will not be able to fight, and easily lose by the fraudulent behavior.

Shanum only needed to lift his fingers, and the mob of assailants immediately collapsed one by one. They are attacked by water that enters the ears, nose and mouth, drowning them from the inside. The water moves itself, like it has a life to act.

"Gosh, Shasha. Just been separated for a while from me you've been making an uproar." Khan pulled Shanum's hand and brought his body closer to his wife.

"I've been worried about you for a long time, wife." The man kissed Shanum quickly.

Then Khan's forehead frowned deeply. "You did all this?" Khan asked with a shocked expression. It was as if the man had just realized many bodies were strewn around him in a miserable state. Although the situation looked dire, Khan did not show any expression of shock or horror, the man even smiled faintly towards Shanum.

Shanum replied by nodding his head while grinning. "Yes, I called out to the guardian spirit of the sea."

Khan was stunned, then shook his head. "Yet again you amaze me. My wife turned out to be quite sadistic as well." Khan smelled Shanum's fingers. "You okay?" ask the man again.

"I'm fine, Adri." Shanum sighed in relief. He was worried that the man would be afraid to see his ferocity in action. But those concerns are unfounded, Khan has been in a world of violence and anarchy for hundreds of years, so maybe he's used to it.

"That spirit power didn't hurt you?" ask the man again in a soft tone of voice.

Shanum shook his head.

Khan let out a sigh of relief, then grimaced as Shanum spontaneously embraced Khan.

Shanum reflexively released his grip, he scanned Khan's face and body. And gasp at the sight of the bloodstains on her husband's clothes.

"You hurt, Adri?"

"Little wound only."

Shanum touched the stain that was on the man's waist gently, and was startled when he heard the man grimace back. Shanum directly pulled onto Khan's clothes and found a deep enough scratch wound there.

"You said it was just a small wound, Adri." Shanum said in a faint tone of voice. Then he placed his palm over the wound and channeled his healing energy. The wound was slowly covered and Khan's skin returned smooth.

"Never underestimate a wound, Adri."

"Yes, dear," Khan replied with a gentle smile towards his wife.

"Well, you guys are busy making out here. Though your group is a lot of wounded."

Khan and Shanum turned their heads simultaneously towards the origin of the voice reprimanding them. And saw the masked man reappear.

"Who is that? Because of you, there are many deaths and wounds right now. And now you're insinuating me, like I'm in charge of all that. What a shameless thing. You'd better get your feet out of here, if you don't want a lot more casualties on your side." Shanum glared at the masked man.

"Wow, what a sexy anger you are, Beautiful," seduced the man with a mischievous smile. Shanum grunted annoyedly.

And Khan growled loudly. "Stop the seduction you're making on my wife, God damn it!"

"Already, Adri. Mad people do not need to be treated, it will be free. You're just wasting your precious time's energy." Shanum rubbed Khan's shoulder and stared fiercely at the masked man.

"Hey, Mad Man, what else do you want now? You wanna fight? Come on, I'm at your service." Shanum raised his chin, challenging the masked man.

The man laughed amusedly. "I don't want to fight you, Beautiful. You won't win against me. So the action was in vain."

Shanum snorted loudly. The masked man was extremely arrogant, and he was increasingly challenged to exchange that arrogance for death. Shanum immediately moved his hand upwards, preparing to drown the man.

"Stop! If you keep going, it means your friend is going to die" said the masked man in a loud voice.

Shanum froze, he immediately lowered his arm, when he saw Farah and Diva being thrust forward with a sword as a threat pressed against their necks. The faces of his two best friends look resigned and afraid.

Shanum. "What do you want?" hisses. He did not expect Osbert to fail to take the two to safety.

"I want you to come with me. If you are willing to go in peace, these friends of yours will be released. But if you refuse...." The masked man grinned sadistically. "His head will be separated from his body."

"No." Khan snubbed the answer Shanum was supposed to say. He was even just about to open his mouth.

"I don't need your answer Khan Adrian. No need to interfere!" sniffed the masked man.

"He's my wife, you son of a bitch!" Khan clenched his fingers.

"I don't care! Want her anyone's wife, I don't care" the masked man paused, to clarify every break she said as he stared at Khan with a frosty look.

"So your subordinate said he wanted to take me too. Please take me, but not him" Khan said.

The masked man laughed disdainfully. "Your turn is coming, Khan. But not today. You should be grateful I didn't kill you today."

"No. I still disagree with you bringing my wife" Khan said with a cold expression in return.

"Have you decided, Beautiful?" The soft, yet poisonous, voice asked Shanum. He didn't heed Khan's words just now.

Shanum remained silent, not directly answering his question. His brain was busy looking for a solution to keep his two best friends safe and he also did not need to be a prisoner of that loathsome man.
