The Woman Ruler of the Altan Clan

The Woman Ruler of the Altan Clan
Chapter 80 Tortured for you

Shanum, lie agitated on the bed. His nightgown was attached to his skin drenched in sweat, his head throbbing painfully. More precisely his entire body was shaken miserably.

He was asleep but still conscious, which felt very strange, and trapped in the darkest darkness he had ever encountered. Again it feels strange, if it doesn't technically really happen. But not for him, who is already in the world of dreams, at least he began to realize that he was experiencing it again.

Being in the dream realm earlier was exactly like this, stifling and crazy. Something unceasingly shouted by his soul since entering this strange realm - a shout that mingled with the screeches shrouding the darkness.

Crawling to find a way out proved futile. He could only wait, no matter what form the dream would appear before him. Did his dream come back about Sintai? The realization of things that will happen, or even other unpredictable dreams that will arise.

Shanum directed his gaze to a single point of light at the end of his eyes. He walked, step by step, limped to it. At the end of the darkness the light was so bright, that at a moment it opened its eyes because it was too blinding.

As his eyes were able to adjust to the change from dark to light, he saw a figure on the bed, not too far away from himself standing. The figure was wrapped in bandages, similar to the appearance of Khan when he last saw it.

What was different was that the figure began to twitch uneasily, whereas the Khan in the real world did not move at all, as he was in a coma. The figure in front of him moved blindly on the bed. It was as if he was rebelling by the invisible bond on his body. Then the man stopped rebelling. Shanum waited and wondered. Who is that man? It can't be Khan, right? Or is that really him? But, ah. no way! Shanum shook his head vigorously, doubting him.

Then Shanum frowned deeply, he heard a slow moaning from the figure. Shanum tried to get closer to listen more clearly. But his steps were blocked by an invisible wall, and he stopped because of it.

The girl was astonished, why is there an invisible wall here? Did he enter someone else's dream? So that he can only function as a spectator here, and be an observer only. Shanum hated feeling this helpless. He could only look pityfully at that figure.

Then the voice suddenly tightened, Shanum flinched. He suddenly froze. His body felt stiff, and his heart seemed to be pulled from its place. That voice... Oh, my God, that's...

"Panaas..give me water.." repeat the sound again loudly. His hoarse voice was clearly heard in Shanum's ears.

The girl directly lunged towards the wall, wanting to reach the figure. But then he realized, he could not go there, because of the impenetrable transparent wall.

"Please! Pananas... Arghhh.." screams of pain rang out.

Shanum lowered his head while covering both ears. His tears flowed, he shook his head. Can't hear that voice anymore.

Then the sound of that agonizing scream stopped, Shanum raised his head. Find out the cause of the silence.

What he saw was more terrifying than ever. The bandages around the figure began to come off, and black smoke came out from between them. The man again shouted loudly with his body convulsing.

Shanum panicked, trying to bang on the wall. "Whoever, don't do this to him. Stopit! Stopit! Adri, I'm sorry! I'm sorry..."

Shanum cried. He kept shouting hitting the wall while screaming bitterly. Until his hands hurt and his voice raspy. But he paid no heed to it, and continued to do the banging, hoping for help to come to his man.

But apparently no help came for him. The man he loved was still tormented and screaming in front of his eyes, and he was powerless to help. Although this was only a dream, his soul still rebelled against him.

Finally, after repeatedly trying to penetrate the wall, and there were no meaningful results. The girl was silent as she adjusted her hunting breath. He kept staring at the man across the wall with a look of the nelangsa.

Shanum slumped down, fell down, drowned on the floor. The girl still did not take her eyes off, her face filled with tears of sorrow.

He felt useless, helpless, and felt a shackle around him, too sickening, enveloping him, clutching tightly, almost drowning him. And then it completely immersed, dissolved in unconsciousness. Can't breathe...

Then the darkness grew, and he breathed a lot of air just to fall back. He blinked his eyes, and saw a creepy creature sprawling far enough from him. Oh, no, no! Snake monster!

"Calm down" he said to himself.

Gasping, trying not to squeal like a coward, Shanum immediately stood up, and closed the body to the wall. The giant serpent followed, its tongue out, its round eyes upon the soul.

Every brain cell that had been trapped in the panic fog suddenly told him, in detail, that he was going to be the monster's dinner. He prefers to meet menacing human figures than to meet creatures whose manifestations he does not like. Shanum hates that creature.

"I'll feel really bad" he said desperately. Actually, he felt that he had started to mess up, even in this dream he could not express what he meant. At least he guessed so. His fear caused chaos in his mind.

Now he again felt helpless, very helpless. It was as if all the power he had disappeared without a trace. In this dream, he felt that he was just an ordinary human being. Surprisingly, he never had a dream like this.

That's why he can pessimistically win against the big snake, who still looks at him as if he was a piece of meat while he stumbled from one corner of space to another corner of space in his dream. The corners are getting closer to him, because the room looks smaller.

"No! Stay away! You don't want to eat me! It's just a dream!"

The head of the snake began to swing. The sharp tip of his fangs, like a sword, would attempt to peck at him. He immediately moved away. His movements are quite nimble, because he did not forget the movement of martial arts that had been ingrained in him.

The snake was still trying to attack him from all directions. Shanum continued to dodge, not sure he could attack the snake with just his martial movements. The serpent is twice as big as him. Without her magic power, she doesn't wince.

And on one occasion, the snake managed to punch a hole in Shanum's thigh. It was certain that the tip of the fang contained poison, as the stinging feeling that struck made him fall to his knees, causing his muscles to lock onto the bones, barely breaking them.

Shanum was stunned while enduring the pain. Just this time he had a dream that attacked him instantly and the effects of the pain felt real. He himself still could not accept that suddenly he had to lose his magic power.

Is there any black magic that dominates his dreams? If so, it seems that he should not underestimate it too much in the future. Because the enemy this time is very cunning and strong. That was if he made it out alive from this dream.

The head of the snake began to swing back. One more hole, this time on his back, as he tried to pivot to dodge the attack. The sting spreads quickly, the muscles twitch.

"Enough!" shanum shouted, the shout was like an arrow slashing out of his geligian, tightly clenched to endure the pain. "Enough!" insist again.

"Don't come any closer! If you're human, show your true form! I want to fight you in the same form as me."

The snake was silent, shaving its disgusting head. Watching, studying. Goddamnit! Shanum couldn't stay away, he was glued to the spot.

"Based coward! Hiding in the form of a snake." His heavy breathing, hitting the wall that was now too tight, echoed.

"It turns out you're very smart, Your Majesty. But baby, you can't win from me."

"Who are you? And I think you're wrong. I don't fit that name. I'm Shanum. I'm just a regular girl." The girl shouted out in protest at the snake monster. Hoping that if the snake, wrong, the man felt wrong target he would be released from this dream.

Slowly, too slowly, the snake faded, glowing before disappearing from view. "Hey, where are you going?! You should-"

A masked man stepped out from behind the sudden darkness. His body was tall and slender, wearing a long robe to cover his entire body. Shanum could not see his face because it was covered in a mask.

Only his eyes, nose and lips were visible. He has black eyes like velvet, nose is quite sharp and lips are so natural red. Shanum's heart was pounding anxiously, as those eyes were staring at him sharply. As if he really wanted to eat it, like the view of the snake earlier.

"Huh, it turns out I was right, you're just a coward! Hiding behind a mask and a long robe. Is your pain just a fingernail? And I'm also very sure that behind the mask, your face must be very ugly" Shanum said in a loud voice.

He insulted the man. Who cares! If necessary he will berate her again until the man's ears are reddened and can not stand with it so release it. And hopefully it won't even kill him.

The man chuckled amusedly. "Wow, what a passionate woman, what an interesting one. Do I have to take you from Khan Adrian..hmm?" said the man while grinning.

Shanum. He did not know whether to be flattered or insulted by the man's words. But, in a thousand years he would not want to be his partner.

"Only in your dreams, Mad Man!" growled Shanum.

"Hmm, the more exciting. I became very interested in you. But, first I have to get rid of my rivals first. I will make Khan Adrian soon die," said the man with a creepy laugh.

"You're never gonna make it, motherfucker! I will get in the way of that wish!" Shanum glared towards the man. The pain on his thighs and back instantly disappeared, being defeated by the bubbling emotions in his blood.

After that silence spread between them, although a blaze of anger still filled Shanum's eyes. Anger and curiosity are still raging. That girl was so curious as to know who this man was? And what did he show up for?

The man had already ruined his life in just one short day. From the moment he heard the news of Khan dying from Jullian, until now when he had a nightmare.

And he can already guess this man is the source of Khan's burning. He dared to give assurances with his life about it.

"Who are you? Whatdoyouwant?" shanum asked in a sharp tone of voice.

The man grinned. "I am. I am myself." Then he laughed amusedly. Nothing funny in his words. Because such a strange answer did not sound funny, but rather sounded sickening in Shanum's ears.

"And I want to destroy Khan Adrian." The man then reappeared his sinister face. Looks like he has a grudge against Khan, and anything could have happened. Khan once told me that he had many enemies during his long life.

"Well, at first I want to play around first by utilizing various parties. But now, it seems like I changed my mind. I want to finish him off immediately, so that I can have you soon." The man then smiled flirtatiously towards Shanum.

Shanum gulped, he felt goosebumps amused at the smile full of temptation. "You are not sane. I have no interest in participating in this crazy game of yours," Shanum replied with a look of disdain towards the nameless man.

"Wait a minute, Beautiful. You'll soon be mine." After saying that, he vanished.

Shanum's eyes opened instantly, his conscious mind being pushed out of a dream as if he were on a roller coaster. He blinked his eyes, then said, "The brash man, crazy, mentally ill..."

"Brazed man, crazy, mentally ill?" reset Farah. Shanum saw his two friends gawking in front of him, and the girl replied with only a faint smile on her innocent face.

Shanum's two best friends immediately regained their senses upon seeing that smile. "Thank you, Lord," said the Diva in a relieved voice.

"Finally you're conscious, and you can still smile, Sha" Farah continued, rolling her eyes. The diva snorted at Farah's words, who packed her thanks in the satirical sentence.

Shanum didn't bully his two best friends, he was still panting. Sweat soaked all over his body, making him drenched. But unlike in his dream earlier, his arms and back that were throbbing pain from the snake bite suddenly disappeared.

"What's going on?" tanyanya trembling. The dream still left a trace of fear in his soul.

"You had a bad dream, Sha. We both woke up to hear your screams. And we can't wake you up. You are still in the dream, even though we have been screaming trying to wake you up" replied Diva with a tired face.

"Why are you guys just yelling, not shaking my body or pinching me like that?" shanum asked in surprise.

"Em. We don't dare, Sha. Because there is a golden light that envelops your body. And the light came from the necklace on the table." Diva points to a necklace that Khan's great-grandmother gave her. Necklace that always keep it, and great still keep it even though it is not being used by him.

Shanum was stunned, he immediately grabbed the necklace, and draped it back around his neck. The girl was so grateful she was still protected. If there's no necklace, I don't know what's going to happen to her.

"Huh, even though I just fell asleep after being in the air for hours" Farah grumbled. Diva immediately elbowed the girl while glaring at her.

Shanum. "Sorry, if I interrupt your rest. Now you go back to sleep. I'm fine already" Shanum said, rubbing his hands to his face to remove the remains of his tension. Then he inched down his feet to the floor.

Shanum managed to stand up unsteadily, but fortunately did not fall down, his gaze swept over his body. He was still wearing his favorite nightgown that was soiled by sweat and probably smelled.

Trudgingly he went to the bathroom. Refuse is aided by the Diva, who looks like she wants to break it. He was just having a bad dream, instead of being so badly injured that he needed to be helped until that.

It seemed like soaking in a bathtub to clean his sticky-feeling body, was heaven for now.

While Shanum walks into the bathroom, his two best friends look at each other in confusion. The Diva shrugged her shoulders and was reciprocated with a snort by Farah.

"Whoi, Shanum! Right now, we can go back to sleep" cried Farah from the bathroom door. "Yes, just sleep there!" reply Shanum with a voice no less loud than in the bathroom.

"What dream is Shanum really having?" asked Diva with her curious face. Farah only replied by shrugging her shoulders, as the Diva had done, then stepped past from before her.

The Diva who felt abandoned, finally followed while grumbling herself. Feeling upset because of the indifference shown by Farah. Both of them immediately continued their sleep which was delayed because of Shanum. Without knowing the story of the dream.
