The Woman Ruler of the Altan Clan

The Woman Ruler of the Altan Clan
Chapter 35 Jealousy

Shanum kept his distance. He watched the fights of the two. Now around them there was no one else but the Khan's bodyguards. Shanum frowned. There was something wrong, why did the people disperse without protest at all and move regularly to leave the place. There should be no magic interference behind the strange behavior of these people.

Shanum squinted his eyes. He saw Dario was staring at him from his position. The man smiled slightly while nodding his head. The man had recovered from his wounds. Shanum was delighted the man was able to return to health without the burns he had already made.

"Shanum." Taban gripped his elbow. The girl looked at him, "Why can those people disperse without protest?" "Oh that, it's been handled by Dario." Shanum smiled faintly, he could have expected it. Then Shanum saw Ula being thrown back by Khan's blow. The girl looked at Taban desperately. "You have to stop it" Shanum said. "I can't, I tried. We can only wait until they stop by themselves."

Shanum growling. "You freaks who don't have adab. How do you let them fight for no apparent reason like that?" shanum Protest. Taban smiled miris. "The Great One is just jealous. So he did just that."

"Just jealous." Shanum shouted those words loudly while clenching his fists. He turned his head and saw blood dripping from Ula's nose. "Are you crazy?" growled Shanum.

Ula swung a punch and Khan dodged to the side, Ula raised her fist and another, hit Khan's shoulder and made him stagger back a few steps. Shanum gnashed his jaw.

Then he tried to get close to the two men. Shanum's sudden appearance left the two flabbergasted. Khan did not have time to pull his hand which he lay towards Ula, it became directional towards Shanum who was already standing right in front of Ula. Shanum heard a scream, "alum..."

But without warning, the girl was getting ready, she immediately brushed off Khan's punch, pulled the hand, kicked his leg and slammed it. A loud thud sounded in that place. Khan suddenly became difficult to breathe, because it hit the conblock.

Shanum then went back to Khan, and slapped one of the man's cheeks hard, causing the man's head to jerk backwards. "That's for me you've been lying to, you bastard," said Shanum.

"Come, Ula. We're back at the hotel." Shanum pulled Ula's hand, and helped her to stand up straight. "Gosh, he's amazing" Taban said loudly. Khan squinted his eyes at Taban. The man replied with a smile and shrugged his shoulders.

Khan was stunned, and rubbed his hot cheeks. But then he chuckled amusedly with a face full of determination. "You're driving me crazy, Shasha. Now you'll never be able to get away from me again. I'll keep chasing you, wherever you run," the man said in his heart.

"Are you okay, Ula?" ask Shanum. They returned to the parking lot and got into Ula's car in silence. Ula closed the door and started driving as if everything was fine. "I'm fine" he answered briefly. Shanum sat leaning back on the chair, his stomach still wrapped around and his palms wet. The Khan's...

Shanum glanced at Ula. He saw the man looking at the street with a look of contemplation. Shanum thinks he's ruined their show tonight. "I'm sorry." Shanum sighed sadly. "Everything ends up fucked. He hit you, and it's because of me."

Ula looked at Shanum and shrugged her shoulders, and then shook off a sympathetic smile that made her throat ache. "No problem. I'm guilty too. I hope you guys managed to repair your relationship in the best way."

"I don't think there's anything to fix anymore" Shanum sighed. Ula then stopped her vehicle. Shanum was confused and looked around. It turned out that they had arrived at the parking lot of the hotel where Shanum was staying.

"Shanum," call Ula. Shanum turned his head and saw the man trying to prevent the girl from opening the car door. "Maybe it's not the right time, because there's been too much chaos tonight. But I have to say it." Ula took her breath while rubbing her messy face full of bruises. "I'm sorry, Shanum. Because I've been groping and hugging you."

Shanum smiled and shook his head. "I understand, Ula. Good night and thank you for dinner." Shanum then opened the door and walked towards the lobby. Ula observes Shanum from inside the car until the girl completely disappears from her sight.

Shanum took off his shoes and put his bag on the dresser, as he was inside the room. Shanum's face looked tired. Shanum's two best friends throw eye glances at each other. Then when the Diva started to open her mouth, Shanum said, "Session questions later, yes, Ladies. I'm gonna take a warm bath first. My body feels crumpled. Tonight I slammed and slapped one man, almost falling into the river with a bruised back against an iron fence, and a bloody finger pierced by a statue."

"Wow, that's amazing. Okay, the question is later. Now please soak first. We will be patiently waiting," Farah said with an amused look. While Diva suddenly elbowed Farah's waist and shook her head. Shanum smiled at the two then immediately went inside the bathroom.

"So tell me?" diva said curiously. "So he said don't force Shanum to tell the story. I got to the elbow of everything. Uh, now he's the one who immediately stole the start" said Farah. "Issh, Shanum has taken a bath, is neat, fragrant and ready to talk. Right, Sha." Diva said while nodding her head.

Shanum smiled. "Yes, I'm ready to tell you. So what do you want to ask?" Shanum offered to both. "So that's actually you having dinner with Ula, what's the fight between clans?" ask Farah. "Huh, what kind of question is that, how weird is that," muttered Diva.

Farah rolled her eyeballs. "Loh, Shanum said he slammed and slapped one man, almost fell into the river with a bruised back against the iron fence, and a bloody finger pierced by the statue. If not join the fight between the clans what else happened," scorned Farah. He said back word after word that Shanum had said earlier.

Shanum who saw the debate both of them finally became amused laugh. "Gosh, you two really comforted me. Thank you, my darling." Shanum hugged his two best friends. They hugged each other and laughed together.

Shanum then released his embrace while wiping away the tears of laughter in the corners of his eyes. He cleared his throat and said, "Well, now I'm going to tell you." Shanum said from the beginning he had dinner with Ula, Ula's fault for thinking she was Sarnai. Until Ula fights with Khan, and closed with dings and slaps that Shanum threw to Khan.

The two listened seriously to Shanum's every utterance. Sometimes they cut and ask. Until the last time Farah clapped. "It's amazing, I'm proud of you, Sha. The man did need to be slammed and slapped so that his sky-high ego crashed down. I'd rather see you fight than watch you shut down and get depressed" Farah said.

"Em, Sha... How will your relationship with Khan continue?" ask Diva. Shanum's face immediately hardened upon hearing Diva's question. "I don't know. And don't want to be related to that guy anymore."

"But Sha, he was jealous. That means he loves you" protested Diva. "I'd rather be unloved than loved but with a foundation of lies."

"I don't like his lies either, Sha. But what if he had a reason. The reason that might be meant to protect you. So you don't get hurt and hurt," go after Diva.

Shanum fell silent, his face suddenly becoming cloudy. The girl exhaled her breath. "Hey, it's Diva. Shanum is sad again. Let's just sleep yuk. I'm sleepy too." Farah tried to cool down the increasingly heated situation.

"okay, Sha. Ii'm sorry. I just don't want you to regret it like I did. If I had a little bit of devotion like you. I'll chase Sergei anywhere."

"Sad, you still think about that guy, Diva," said Farah. "If so, why? You haven't found a man who can make you feel like you're riding a thunderbolt or riding a hysteria. If you find it, you'll know how I feel."

"Unfortunately I don't like to ride thunderbolts and hysteria, because it makes me nauseous and dizzy. I'd better find a man using the Golden Ratio Theory alone" Farah said.

"Oh yeah, what does that theory say?" tanya Diva is interested. "The theory measures the perfection of the human face using symmetrical measures, such as the distance between the eyes, the height of the cheekbones, the straightness of the nose, and also the mouth."

"God is so complicated then. You have to carry a ruler everywhere" said Diva. "What do you do with a ruler?" ask Farah. "Yes to measure that earlier, the symmetrical size of a man's face," replied the Diva innocently.

Farah immediately chuckled amusedly. "Gosh, you're this. That's not the rules of the game. I'm not done yet I explained that I just played cut." Shanum smiled listening to the interesting conversation of his two best friends.

"What about Korean men?" ask Shanum. Both look towards him. Diva immediately smiled smirk. "Waa, you want to know because of Khan right. I told you once, Khan looks like a Korean actor."

"Who's looks? How I don't know." Farah patted Diva's arm. The girl immediately grimaced. "Don't hit, sick tofu. Here I tell you." Diva then approached Farah's ear and whispered. Farah nodded her head, then immediately grabbed her phone on the table.

He opened a search app about a Korean actor that Diva mentioned. Then he turned his head and said, "Yes right, similar yeah." Farah's reaction was so flat that Diva rolled her eyes.

Shanum smiled amusedly at the behavior of the two. "Keep, what was the answer to my question?" Shanum raised his eyebrows. Farah immediately reopened her phone and read what was in her cell phone records.

"Em, according to the theory, Korean men have narrow eyes shaped like almonds that tend to be pulled upwards, making their faces look more symmetrical and fresh. The sharpness of the eyes and the curvature of the thin, pointed lips are also an attraction in itself, making them more masculine and sexy."

Shanum muttered while rubbing his chin. Diva immediately chuckled amusedly. "Ihhh how do you react like an old geezer who has a beard like that." Shanum smiled broadly at the Diva. Farah also giggled.

"Already ah, he said he wanted to sleep. It's sleepy," Diva quipped as she glanced at Farah. The girl just snorted. "Let's go to sleep." Both of them continued to climb into their beds. "You're not sleeping, Sha?" asked Farah while yawning. "Yes, in a minute. I'm gonna put some face moisturizer on first." Farah nodded and closed her eyes.

Shanum took a facial moisturizer and applied it all over the face while occasionally patting it. He then took his phone and was glued when he found a message coming in from Khan.

Shanum put his phone back on the table while glancing at it. The desire to open Khan's message on mobile was at war with his sense of prestige. Finally Shanum again grabbed the phone and opened the message from the man. Shanum gawked at twenty missed calls and three messages from the man.

Shanum read them one by one.

First Message:

I'm sorry, Shasha, Please...

I've always thought of you.

Don't leave me.

Second Message:

If you dare to leave, I will seek you to the ends of the world.

You will never be able to hide.

Third Message:

Shasha, please raise my call.

I have to talk to you.

Shasha, I have to go through a matchmaking event.

The noble council and the elders have already started to pestilence me with their chosen female candidates to become my partner.

"Oh, shit," said Shanum. His hands trembled somewhat while he closed those messages.

Is this what makes the man lie? Was the woman with him one of the candidates? Did he have to be with that woman? Shanum hated the thought of Khan talking to the woman, as it made him sick of jealousy.

Shanum suddenly realized, he had already underestimated the man's jealous feelings towards Ula. He is also jealous of other women. His stomach was wrapped around, knowing that he was already being unfair to the man.

Shanum's heart started pounding. In his mind, he retraced their meeting, Khan's attitude all along, his words, his facial expression. Then as they fight together, protect her from Chinua.

Now he will lose the man because he turned out to be betrothed and must choose another woman as his partner. Shanum got up from his seat, grabbed his phone and moved towards the sliding door that led to the balcony of the room.

He took a deep breath. Her chest feels tight. Perhaps if Shanum was not too shaken with the depth of his feelings for Khan, he could think with common sense.

Perhaps if Shanum had not loved the man, he would definitely not have felt this sick and fragile. He never knew. What he felt was a sense of disappointment, jealousy, and very hurt. This realization lunged at him very strongly, and like a child, he wanted to retaliate to hurt the man. He threw it away, slammed it and slapped it.

Shanum closed his eyes. His eyes were sore and he let a few tears roll down his face. The day after he and his two best friends must return to their country. Shanum had to leave Astrakhan and the man.

Shanum clutched the phone to the chest, not knowing what to do at all. He couldn't get rid of Khan's shadow with other women.

He was so shocked when the phone shook on his chest that he almost dropped it. Khan's name appears on the phone screen. Still upset, Shanum thought he wanted to let the phone not be lifted back up.

But Shanum already could not ignore it, because Shanum was clearly aware in his little heart, he wanted to hear the man's voice. Want to listen to the reasons. And want to know how that guy really feels about himself.
