Shanum awoke from the darkness that ruled him while grimacing in pain. He looked at the ceiling of the room and realized he was already in a different room. He turned his head, and saw Avraam sitting not far from the bed while looking at him expressionlessly.
Shanum held a strong sense of heat in his throat. His lower lips trembled, as he said asking for water.
Avraam did not say a word, the man immediately moved to pick up the glass filled with water and help lift his head to be able to drink the water.
After that, Avraam put the glass back on the table, he immediately sat quietly on the chair. Shanum averted his gaze, he raised his arm and looked at the bandage bandage on his wrist.
"Why do you want to kill yourself, Shanum?"
Shanum heard a soft, questioning voice from Avraam. A voice that contained a slight element of disbelief from the man. Maybe Avraam did not think he was able to do such reckless actions. Actions born of deep despair and fear.
Silent.
Shanum remained silent, gazing towards the ceiling of the room.
"No answer, sweetie." The man then got up from the chair and approached towards Shanum. He sat by the bedside, grabbed Shanum's chin and pulled him towards the man. Avraam forced Shanum to look him in the eye. His eyes dimmed and turned off.
"Thank you back."
"For what?" shanum asked with a foolish expression.
"To save you from death."
Shanum. "I didn't ask for your help."
His gaze felt sharply drawn towards Shanum. The touch on his chin was like hot iron, Shanum snorted, dodging from his grip. But Avraam held him tight, so he could not dwell.
"You must be hurt by that punishment. I could have expected it. But it doesn't have to be that you end your life. Your life is precious compared to the ridiculous punishment I've already ordered."
Shanum was fixated, he did not expect to hear the regretful words from the man. Avraam interpreted his actions as frustrated by the punishment imposed against him.
In Shanum's heart feeling relieved, the man did not suspect the true motive of the dangerous act.
"For now, I won't bother you any further. Later Nara will serve all your needs." The anger was implied back in his eyes as the man looked at the bandage on his wrist.
His mouth formed a sadistic line. "I'm sure you won't turn into a dumb woman by killing yourself again." The man looked at Shanum sharply.
"So have a good rest. You need it." Then the man came out and closed the door quietly.
Shanum could barely catch his breath regularly enough to relieve the turmoil he felt in his chest.
As soon as he was able to recall the events he did, his cries burst out into a fierce sobbing that it shook his entire body, flowing out the window, and into a star-studded night.
And the whole sobbing suddenly subsided, as Shanum felt the appearance of her husband through their bondage.
Too skinny.
His face looks so thin.
He must have been through a lot of his meal and sleep.
How could the man still contact her through their bond?
Those thoughts floated within Shanum's head, one after another. When I saw the sighting of Khan Adrian. His heart was pounding, he did not dare to make a sound. Khan looked at him with sadness and worry that he did not cover up in the slightest.
Shanum wants to touch it, breathe it, feel-taste
That instinct flows like a river. His hands clenched at his sides. She did not expect her husband to reappear and tried to get her to talk.
Soul mates.
The man did not give up. Even though he was lied to in such a way.
The pain hit Shanum's chest, but he tried to endure it. Question after question from Khan came over. And Shanum was only able to say an apology, along with other reasons, which added another pile of sins to Khan.
Shanum saw Khan's face was quite tense and frightened, looking completely empty and numb, the golden-brown netra also looked dim.
Shame washed all over Shanum, as the man begged him to remember both his parents, as well as the future sister who had now been present in the protection of his mother's stomach.
He tried to sound natural, sound comfortable, happy, even when his heart was beating and roaring, so fast that he felt like vomiting.
He did not dare to acknowledge all the plays he had done. That she kept some details related to her husband's clan massacre plan. Also other things that he has been doing great for a long time.
Finally at the end of the taste that continues to whack, Shanum gave up, he tried to help Khan to find this place. In fact, during his time in prison, in that sealed room, he once got a whisper of a new spell about tracking the place.
He did not know who had kindly sent the whisper to him. Although in his little heart, he was not sure the spell he did could succeed in his physical condition was weak like this. But it doesn't hurt to try. If the spell fails, he will not give up. He could try other ways to be free from this place.
Her husband listened seriously to every break she said, before he abruptly broke off communication between them, when he heard the creak of the door leaf.
Nara appears with a tray filled with food on hand. He put the tray on the table and smiled sadly yet non-judgmentally.
"You need help getting up, My Lady?" nara said softly.
"Yes, Nara. Please lift me up to the back of the bed."
Nara lifted Shanum to the back of the bed so that he could lean there.
"Please put that tray on my lap, Nara."
Nara complies, and performs Shanum's instructions. After seeing Shanum begin to bribe food, Nara sat down on a chair beside the bed.
"You've made a noise here, My Lady."
Shanum raised next to his eyebrows. "You mean, Nara?"
"Many people received tantrums and punishment from the Great One," Nara replied with an innocent expression.
Shanum put down the spoon and looked at Nara sharply. "Tell me in full!" his orders.
Avraam sent the bodyguard, who was carrying Shanum's food, to prison for punishment.
Shanum grimaced guiltily hearing that, the man's unfortunate fate was purely because of him. After this it seemed like he needed to speak seriously with Avraam. However, he does not want an innocent victim because of his actions.
Later Nara recounts that during Shanum's unconscious days, Avraam's behavior turned increasingly violent. Every day while training, the man caused many of his opponents to be sprawled full of serious injuries. Every day fewer and fewer people come to the training room.
Nara also said that the one who keeps it a few hours during the day, and always at night is Avraam. The man did not trust anyone other than Nara who helped him to take turns keeping watch.
Long enough Shanum's face did not change, but the look in his eyes was now open and cold. "This whole thing you said, didn't make me just forgive him, Nara. That man has punished me with impunity, without justice."
Shanum fought off the brimmy anger. He condemned Avraam's unjust deeds the other day to him.
"I know, My Lady. That punishment should not be meted out to you." Nara smiled faintly.
"And don't worry, justice has been served, My Lady. The Great has already punished the real guilty party" added Nara.
Shanum turned his head quickly towards Nara. "You mean, Chemira and her accomplice have already been punished?"
Nara nodded.
"What's the penalty?" shanum Urge.
"Miss Chemira was fired from her post and this house was off limits to her. The conspirators were told to drink poison."
Shanum snorted loudly. "It should be that the serpent woman was also destroyed. The punishment was too light for him."
"I don't think the Great can do it, My Lady. Miss Chemira's father was one of the influential nobles. He had already helped the Great One a lot in building this clan."
Shanum smiled sinisterly then handed the tray to Nara. "Please bring back the tub, Nara. I'm done. And please leave me. I'm gonna get some rest."
If Nara had known that Shanum had cast her out subtly, the woman would not have shown her expression. Nara simply nodded her head, remained obedient and hurried to leave the room without a word.
Recalling the events of two months ago it still made his heart throb pain. Avraam's treatment of him at that time still left wounds and anger.
Although the wound on his wrist had healed completely, Shanum still had a line of wounds in his heart. The wound was getting deeper and never healed even though he had tried to forget it. The wounds inflicted by himself for hurting the people he loved.
Shanum realized this was a consequence he had to bear for his actions. He could not regret his own choice, even though it inflicted wounds that gnawed at him from within.
The house was quite busy with all the activities as she got ready to go with Nara to the market. Shanum accompanies Nara and helps her organize activities in the kitchen. She rarely cooks. Sometimes Shanum misses the cuisine of his birthplace, so he likes to ask Nara to help him to find the ingredients and process them.
The residents of the house did not dare to comment. They accept everything he does. It seems that since the moment of Avraam's outburst of rage the other day, not a single person had dared to touch him.
And Shanum certainly has no objection to that. He was even happy to be free from the group of Avraam fan women. But he wanted to shout out loud to the women, that they could take Avraam. Divided equally can also.
As for his attitude towards Avraam, Shanum still kept his distance with the man. And the man acted the same. Sometimes Shanum finds an inside look from the man, which is thrown secretly at him. His eyes and Avraam's eyes will clash without a word. It was too dark to read anything implied in Avraam's gaze. Usually, Shanumumah first turned away.
Like this morning, after enjoying his breakfast, Shanum was picked up by a man who said that he had been waited for by Avraam in the courtyard. What a fairly drastic development, finally the man dared to approach him again.
Shanum frowned deeply, but did not issue a rebuttal. He nodded and followed the man's steps towards the courtyard. There stood Avraam talking to two other men. I don't know what they're discussing. But he could see Avraam's bright expression when he saw his figure.
"Follow me. We're going somewhere" Avraam ordered.
Avraam stood beside him, there was a long sword with two gloved blade eyes on his back, knives tied at his feet, clad in pants that Shanum assumed were the battle armor of their clan, and they were all wearing, judging from what the other two men wore.
His dark pants were tight, a kind of thick enough patchy skin that was worn out and scuffed, forming his legs which he only realized were so muscular.
His tight jacket is made according to his size which is also full of muscles. If the equipment he wore was not enough to tell him what kind of danger they would face in the place they were coming, it would be ridiculous that similar equipment was not owned by him on this trip.
"Where are you taking me? Why are you wearing a gun full of clothes like that?" shanum asked with a fierce face.
Avraam raised an eyebrow, and said, "You must want complete weaponry as well. All right, I'll take you to the armory."
Without waiting for a reply from Shanum, Avraam signaled to follow him. Shanum was brought into a room that made him reveal a faint glimmer of a faint smile in an instant.
The room where he had been hiding the other day, now looked a little different. Maybe it was just his feelings, because this time he was actually invited to enter it without slacking off like a thief.
"You can choose all the weapons that are here. Adjust to your body weight, don't choose weapons that are too heavy for you to carry" Avraam ordered.
Shanum nodded then circulated his gaze. He moved through one after another of the weapon storage cabinets. Checking, weighing, and sighing loudly.
There was not a single weapon to his liking. Then he turned his eyes to a sword on the wall.
Shanum. The sword that caught his attention was glowing beautifully in his eye pelup. He was still fascinated by the sword from the first moment he saw it. The golden-golded sword had always been as if it was calling out to him.
Shanum subconsciously extended an arm toward the sword. He wants to grab it.
"You won't be able to master that sword, sweetie. So you better take your hand away from her. To date, no one else can hold..." Avraam's words were cut off, the man's eyes widened in shock.
Shanum lifted the sword from its support and opened the scabbard easily. His expression was astonished. The sword was pouring something into his blood.
"How's..."
Avraam fell silent again, not continuing his words. The man's face was really cute with big bulging eyes, a wide gaping mouth and a stiff body standing in place.
Shanum grinned. "Omong empty from where it is, I will not be able to master this sword. This sword is very light and beautiful too." Shanum showed the movement of moving the sword hilt from one hand to the other easily. It was as if the sword was indeed created for him.
"We must leave immediately, My Lord."
Shanum turned his head quickly towards the door and found the eyes of the two men who were in the courtyard were shocked.
The men suddenly had the same cute expressions as Avraam. They froze.
Then an unexpected event occurred, both of them moved down their knees to the floor, resting in front of Shanum while bowing their heads.
"My Queen," they said in unison.
Now it was Shanum's turn to glare in shock to hear their call to him.
