The Woman Ruler of the Altan Clan

The Woman Ruler of the Altan Clan
Chapter 48 The Deepened Flavor

Sergei approached Shanum hesitantly, but he still had to hand his phone to the girl. "Shanum, the Great wants to talk to you." Sergei thrust out his phone, but Shanum just stared at it without picking it up.

Sergei clucked in annoyance. "He didn't want to take his phone, Khan," Sergei said. "Then you're the one holding the phone and pointing it at him, so I can see his face while talking.

"Let me!" Suddenly Diva was already standing next to Sergei. He reached out his hand asking for the man's cell phone. Sergei handed it to Diva with a smile. "Thank you, Hon." Diva immediately nodded at Sergei's words. "It turns out I haven't been forgiven" the man complained.

"Just tell me what you want to say, sir. And don't make my best friend sadder." Diva glared at Khan while holding Sergei's phone in his right hand.

Khan straightened his body and countered Diva's plotting with a grim look. "I would never have meant to hurt her, Diva. Please help point this phone screen at him, please! I want to see his face."

Diva softened, she nodded. Then sit next to Shanum. The girl tried to refuse. He brushed off the phone screen that was directed at him by Diva.

"Oh that's enough! Stop that childish behavior, Sha! Until when do you want to act like that abused girl, but just said you loved her?" furious Farah.

Shanum flinched, he fell silent. The girl no longer refused the phone screen that was directed at her. His arm is drooping. And his face turned to the side, he still avoided the phone screen.

Khan who heard Farah's words just now, smiled smugly. He then cleared his throat. "Thank you Farah-Diva."

The man cleared back. It was as if he felt something stuck in his throat.

Khan looked at Shanum who was unwilling to look towards the mobile phone screen. He felt a tightness, as if his chest was pierced by a sharp object.

"Shasha, I'm sorry. Perhaps it has been too long for this issue to drag on between us. But I have to explain the real issue to you, Sha. The woman I was with was my cousin. I promised to come to the party before I even met you." Khan began his remarks about the woman he was with at the party.

"Why are you lying?" shanum asked in a faint voice. "Is it hard to tell the truth?" added again.

"I don't know. Maybe it was because I was struggling and thinking a lot. Because I was urged by the Elders and the Nobles Council of my clan, to immediately find a companion. And they want it done by holding a Selection." There's pause. Khan looked to swallow.

"This event has been done frequently by clan leaders long before me. Until finally when you ask, just triggered a lie answer from my lips. I admit, that cannot be allowed. So I'm sorry, Shasha," he said.

Shanum's skin was bristling to hear it. He resisted the urge to look at the phone and hugged the phone, as if it were the man, whose embrace he so desperately wanted.

But Shanum's look was inversely proportional to his heart, he remained seated staring in the other direction, stiff and in control. Shanum's hand was clenched at his side.

"I always think of you, Shasha," Khan exhorted in a hoarse, warm, seductive tone of voice.

Shanum's body reacted to the sound. The tone of voice that always made him feel a strange swish on his body. "I don't care, and ignore my words," he replied with a stifled breath.

The man's face grew increasingly bitter to hear Shanum's words. But he kept his words. "Which one?" ask again.

"About.I loved you earlier," he said in a soft voice.

The man shook his head. "Shasha. look at me, and look into my eyes. Tell me, what do you really feel?"

Shanum remained unmoved, he made no sound.

Khan took his breath. He rubbed his face. "I feel tormented," he said hoarsely. "What should I do. Your shadow is always present every day. I've always wanted to reach for you, but I doubt and fear the more you move away."

The girl glanced when she heard Khan's words just now. "Shasha... look at me, please! After this I promise not to bother you again. You can continue your life..."

Shanum immediately turned his head, his eyes gleaming furiously. "Oh, so it's just the limit of your patience with me" Shanum growled. He finally stared at the screen, his gaze cold and stiff.

Khan gulped the entirety of Shanum's face with his gaze. His eyes seemed full of happiness. His eyes never shifted a bit from the front of the phone screen. "You're getting prettier, I feel like a dream to see you right now" she said.

Shanum suddenly snatches the phone from Diva's hand. "Don't seduce me!" snapped it. Diva looked grimacing and shook her head. Farah also immediately got up from her seat and said, "I'd better get out of this room, long ago I followed the emotion of hearing the words and saw your increasingly ridiculous behavior, Sha!"

Farah directly walked out of the room with a stiff face holding back the anger. Behind him followed Sergei and Diva, coming out of the room.

Sergei even had a chance to throw a disappointed look at the girl. Shanum was stunned, his attention distracted by Farah's words just now and also Sergei's gaze.

He looked back at the screen. Khan looked to take a deep breath. "So what do you want now, Shasha?" khan asked in a tired tone that he did not cover up.

Shanum did not reply, his face still looked stiff and unreadable. But it still noticed Khan on the screen. In fact, deep down in his heart was still the name of the man. A big lie if he doesn't love her.

And about the man's mistake actually Shanum has long forgiven him. What he still could not accept was about the Selection he had to live. He could not think that the man would later have to be with another woman. But the man actually had to do it too.

Khan then slightly moved away from the screen, his hand raised to his chest and rubbed the area in his heart as if his heart was hurting.

"If this is my last chance, let me express my feelings..." The man's eyes stared fixedly at Shanum. It was as if he wanted the girl to know all the flavors he had been hiding all along.

"I adore you, Shasha. I may never have said it directly. I thought words were less important than the treatment I gave you." Khan smiled sadly, his eyes looking teary.

He's cleared his throat. "If I have to lose you..." The man choked, he stopped for a moment.

"I don't dare to imagine it, Shasha. Because I'm..." He was silent, then down.

He raised his face again. His two eyeballs turned increasingly golden brown, appearing to be softer, deeper, and full of warmth.

Shanum suddenly felt a jolt run through his heart, a jolt that brought the warmth to spread throughout his body. He was in a daze, why could he feel the radiance of the man's energy, while their bodies were separated so far away.

"I love you, Shasha. Very..love you very much."

Shanum was panting, his hands were smothering his mouth, and he looked trembling. The man's words of love, the look in his eyes, the energy he emitted overwhelmed him. He could no longer bear the euphoria that struck him like a flood. Slowly tears flowed back in the girl's eyes. It was flowing unstoppably again.

From behind the scenes Khan stared into Shanum's eyes. "Don't" he sighed softly. "My heart is broken if you cry again." Shanum smiled weakly. "I can't help it. You're... L'm... Oh, I'm sorry. I love you too." Shanum.

"Shasha.." erang Khan in a hoarse voice teased hers.

Shanum opened his eyes. "Wait a minute." The girl then took Sergei's coffee cup and his bottle on the table, and he leaned the phone there.

"My hands are still trembling, but I still want to see your face without becoming unsteady. So I put the phone on the table with a buffer behind it" he explained.

Shanum then wiped away the tears that were still running down his cheeks. "You want to see me stop crying. Okay, I'll try."

Shanum then took a breath and exhaled back. He tried to calm himself. He covered his face with both palms. Then Shanum looked at Khan with the same gentle look. A view that reveals that they are connected, in a bond of soul called love.

"What have you done to me? Do we have a special connection? I can feel you... I don't know, I'm confused to explain myself."

Khan's eyes were wide. "You can feel it too, in your physical form?" ask him in amazement. Shanum nodded with a smile.

"It's too much" insisted Khan. Shanum frowned. "What did I feel just now?" tanyanya's confused.

"Not that, but the fear of losing you gnawed me a long time ago. That dominated my feelings. Then I suddenly realized that I had to say everything. The whole feeling stored away in the corner of my heart to you."

Eyes closed. "When you went missing from the hotel. I don't know if you'll come back. If I lose you..." Khan rubbed his face.

"When I found out you were coming back to your country in secret, I was relieved. But it also felt that part of my heart was forcibly snatched from its place. And it hurts."

The girl's sight softened again. "I also feel tormented, Adri," whispered Shanum.

"Ah, finally the call came up as well. I'd rather you call me that. Because it sounds more friendly."

"So it's not angry anymore, is it" said the man.

"It's still, but stay a little." Shanum fused his thumb and forefinger to show a slight size according to him.

Khan smiled faintly. He kept looking into Shanum's eyes deeply. "Sorry, I haven't been able to reach you all this time, honey. I'm coward. I'm afraid to hear those hateful words coming out of your mouth again."

Shanum was stunned again. Finally he got also those words mentioned from the lips of the right man. If it's from the other guy he'll feel bad. The words from Khan's lips even made him pound uncharacteristically.

"Why silence? You still half-heartedly forgive me, Shasha?"

"No, Adri. I was just shocked to hear the one word you mentioned at the end of your sentence."

Khan's eyebrows curved. "Ah, you mean the word dear." Khan's face looks red.

Shanum nodded his head while again chuckling. "Your face is flushed, Adri."

Khan ruffled his hair and growled. "I'm not used to saying sweet words. Is weird?"

"Not used to what you say. Right now how many sweet words have come out of your lips, Adri. Until I can get diabetes hear it," Shanum said, twisting his eyeballs.

"really? I didn't realize, everything just flowed. What I have stored in my heart is overflowing all it seems," he murmured with a faint smile.

"Adris..." Shanum looked at Khan with a sharp look. "What about us?" Her voice choked.

Khan smiled faintly. "Do you believe me, Shasha?"

The girl nodded her head. "Then believe me, I will keep fighting for you to be by my side."

"You mean, you're still going to continue that Selection?" ask Shanum.

"Yes, I have to" he answered.

"But... But what about the women who will be elected later?"

"Women will be elected later, and the only one is you" Khan said with deep eyes on Shanum.

Shanum was shocked. "That means me..."

"Yes, you'll be in that selection, too."

Shanum kontan shakes.

"Why? You don't want to join the Selection?"

"I can't, Adri."

"Why can't it? You don't want to be my partner?"

Shanum sighed. "I'm not sure I can beat that beautiful woman, Adri?"

Khan smiled knot. "For me you're much prettier. And I'm sure you'll be able to win that Selection. Me and Eej already have plans for you."

"Your mom knows?" tanyakanya.

"Yes, he knows all my feelings for you. And he supports me."

"But not in the near future do I follow the Selection? I still want to get my title first." After saying those words, he gasped. He forgot all about Mr. Reno.

Shanum looked at Khan nervously. "What's up, Shasha?" The man squinted his eyes.

"Adri, I'm sorry. Looks like I'm gonna have to cut this phone line. I have something to discuss with my two best friends."

Shanum picked up his phone and typed a message to his two best friends to return to the room.

"Does this have anything to do with us?" khan asked suddenly.

"Em, there's the hell. But just a little bit" he replied briefly. Still fiddling with his phone.

"Then I also want to hear your discussions" he said firmly.

Shanum raised his head. "You sure?"

"Yes, I need to know. And no objection!" Khan returned to his arrogant and cold attitude. Shanum rolled his eyes while smiling amusedly.

"I really want to scoop up that arrogant face of yours," Shanum said with a cringe.

Khan's eyes darkened and his lips curved. He smiled seductively towards the girl. "Oh, I'm looking forward to it." Then his eyes looked grim. He realized that they were now separated by distance and time.

"Argh..." Khan growled his frustration.

"Unfortunately I can't come to you. What if you're the only one here?"

"Sorry, can't. I was busy finishing my studies" Shanum said with a ketus. It's good that he has to keep chasing after the guy. While the man was not trying to find a way to chase her here.

"Have you finished fighting?" sindir Farah who suddenly appeared from behind the door.

"Kok baku bangam, physical form alone is not one place, Farah," protested Diva. Sergei followed beside Diva.

"Yes, the other time, they beat up verbally." Farah sniffed her shoulder.

Diva rolled her eyeballs. "Yes, it's up to you, Farah. By the way, what's up, Sha?"

Shanum looked serious, he hinted the three people to sit down.

"I just remembered that I wanted to talk about Mr. Reno."

"Who is Mr Reno?" cut Khan's.

"If you cut my words often, I'll turn off the connection on Sergei's phone" Shanum said with a fierce glare.

"OK, please continue," Khan said grimacingly.

"So, Mr. Reno already knew that I was helping him so he could wake up from his coma."

Then Shanum returned to tell the phone yesterday from Elvano, his brother Pak Reno. His visit to the hospital, his words to make Shanum his lover, to Shanum's secrets that he already knows as well. No one dared to cut Shanum's words.

They were all very seriously listening, with their respective colorful facial expressions. A shocked expression, growled, amused smile and a flat face.

"So soon kill him, Sergei. You erase people's memories, make it look like they were never born!" Khan uttered the sentence to Sergei as soon as Shanum finished his story. His voice sounded so cold, and stiff, that everyone in the room felt goosebumps.
