"Your mother is waiting in the tea room, Great Khan." A man stood in honor on the balcony doorway. Both of his burly arms looked brown and open, the man had a muscular body like a dancer. He was Bataar, his mother's right hand, and her protector.
Although according to Khan, his mother did not need bodyguards, she could protect herself. The mother has a powerful magic power. And it was no secret, no one had ever dared to anger him. But the mother was rarely angry, the woman was very gentle and loving. Khan respected her very much, he treated her mother warmly. It was very different from her treatment of all women, which was to be cold.
The room is still as warm as it is, Khan gets into it and is overrun by the feminine touches that are all over the room. The dominance of pastel colors is very eye-catching. Her mother, who is commonly called 'Eej in Mongolian, meaning 'Mother, was sitting in a beautiful soft chair covered in brown velvet in the corner of the room. He was enjoying afternoon tea.
"Eej, I'm coming to you." Khan bowed respectfully to his mother and smiled gently. "This house somehow feels different" Khan said. "I changed some of the interiors of the room, replacing the upholstery of the benches, the curtains, and the wallpaper. The servants have also cleaned everything so thoroughly," said the mother. "Does that mean this house looks more beautiful?" "Yes. It looks more beautiful and bright" replied Khan. "Really, glad to hear it." The mother looks softly smiling.
"Eej. There's something I want to talk to you about." Khan's face looked serious. The mother looked curious, her beautiful eyebrows looked wrinkled. "Did anyone catch your attention?" Khan looked surprised, "How could Eej guess it?" The woman then smiled wryly. "Only instinct, so how far has it gone?"
Khan looked to be exhaling, he looked nervous. "Technically, this girl is nothing to me. I didn't expect to overdo it, since..."
Khan could not continue his words. "Oh baby" the mother interrupted. "Life is too good to be spent remembering the past. You need to move forward, not keep retreating" he said.
"Not for me" replied Khan. "It's time you changed. Find the right woman. Don't follow Taban and Dario who are still single. You're the clan leader, if you follow the rules of the past, you'll be betrothed by the elders. For some reason as the times of the elders became softer, they freed you unaccompanied."
"I've been betrothed, if you remember. And I'm glad they don't bother me anymore. I don't need a partner to lead this clan" Khan assured the mother. "Why are you so against love?" Khan smiled wryly, he then replied, "Of course I didn't come here to discuss the state of my heart, Eej."
"No, but sometimes I wonder where my sweet little boy goes." The mother looked at him gently. "That boy is growing up" Khan said. "I need Eej's help, by the way, if there will be any questions from the elders," he said. The mother looked at Khan with a sharp look.
"Don't tell me you're in trouble, my son." Khan grinning. "I'm just investigating something Eej. Not knowing whether it will be a problem or not. Just don't want the elders to interfere, and mess things up."
"Try explaining it to me." The mother said firmly. Khan strengthened his resolve, he will need the support of his mother. Then he told me everything. The beginning of his meeting with Shanum, until the events in his study. The woman listened quietly, occasionally she seemed to frown, seeming to think.
"I can't rush Eej's actions, that girl isn't necessarily endangering our clan. Unless I find any evidence of anything suspicious on the girl, her death would mean innocent human blood spilling on my hands. Which will haunt me for the rest of my life. Although I have sworn to protect our clan from the eyes of the world."
"You better be careful, son! I don't know why I don't feel good. I'll be visiting your house soon. I want to meet the girl" said the mother. "Now, not now, Eej, I have to make sure everything's safe first." The mother's face seemed to disagree.
"Please..." Finally she relented, the mother nodded her head. "Well Eej, I won't interrupt your tea time any longer. I'm going to my room to rest." "Go, you can call Bataar if you need anything." Khan nodded his head, then walked out of the room. When he was outside the room he seemed to breathe a sigh of relief, feeling one step had been passed by him.
Meanwhile, in one of the rooms, in the magnificent mansion belonged to Khan Adrian. Three girls seemed to be talking seriously. "So what should we do next, Sha?" ask Farah. "Yes, what should we do? I'm afraid to stay here" said Diva. Shanum remained silent, he seemed to think.
"We need to get out of here" Shanum said. He had already decided, they had to get out of the man's grip. Shanum could not stand the uncertainty. They had already been in this mansion for two days, and their movements were restricted.
Khan Adrian never appeared again after the events in the workspace. "But how do we get out of here? The security here is very tight" asked Diva. "I have an idea" said Farah. He then explained to his two friends.
"You mean, our stuff wasn't taken? I don't agree, those things matter." Diva rejects Farah's proposal. "If you bring all your things, they'll be suspicious. We're gonna run away from Diva instead of moving into a hotel." Farah looked upset at the behavior of Diva. "We can't ask Khan Adrian for permission." "How to ask permission, his form was not visible until now." Farah replied while rolling her eyeballs.
"You ask Taban, Sha." Diva was still adamant about her thoughts. Shanum looked at Diva, tapping a finger on her lips. "Diva, if I do that, they will definitely be able to read our intentions. So I refused, sorry," Shanum said. "You try to choose the items that are important to carry, the rest we leave here. For clothing, just bring one set. We can buy again on the trip later," he added again.
Diva rubbed her hair and scrunched her face. He still had doubts about Farah's idea. "Diva, you're coming with us, right?" ask Shanum. The Diva sat on the bed restlessly unable to answer. The girl found it hard to look at Shanum, partly because she was hesitant and partly because she felt guilty. "Diva..." Farah called out to him, she gestured impatiently with both of her hands. "Okay, I'm coming, '" he replied, grumbling.
Shanum had already finished putting in the items that were important for him to carry. While waiting for his two friends to put in their belongings, he closed his eyes. God, he hopes to keep his eyes closed and maybe it will get rid of all this.
No matter how impressive all this was, how handsome the man was, Shanum had to get out of here immediately. He did not want to get lost, all this scared him.
Then Shanum got up to his feet, his face expressionless, looking cold and unattainable.
"Are you ready ladies?" They both nodded their heads. The three of them came out of the room, it was lunch time. As usual they ate together in the dining room and were accompanied by Taban and Dario. Farah greeted Taban, then sat down in front of him. Diva and Shanum were sitting next to Farah. Diva immediately took the food that had been served in front of him.
This afternoon only saw Taban in the dining room, he seemed to frown seeing the three girls dressed very neatly and carrying bags. "Have I missed anything?" tanyakanya. "Ah no, we just want out. I've got something I want to buy, um, special needs women. Can anyone take us?" Farah smiled sweetly as she looked towards Taban.
"I can drive you. So, tell me-" Taban leaned forward and twirled softly around the drink in his glass, the man's eyes fixed on Farah's eyes. "Then what exactly are you planning?" ask Taban.
Farah slowly took the food into the dish. His face looked calm, without burden, even though his heart was pounding. "There's no plan, we just need women's personal belongings, and it has to be bought by us" Farah said.
"What stuff?" ask Taban. Farah looked at Taban, slowly brought her face closer, and whispered, "You know-special items, like painkillers for a woman's monthly cycle." Taban's face flushed red, he opened his mouth, but then he closed it again. Taban undoes his intention to speak. "So can we go?" Taban considered it, he nodded, and Farah thought she was safe.
But then Taban's head movement changed from half-nodding to more like a skirt. "No, I disagree. I'll just drive Farah. The others better stay here. Let Farah buy you both the necessities." The diva directly slammed the spoon into the plate, a sudden noise that shocked them.
"Couldn't be so Taban! I won't let you go alone with Farah. Don't piss me off!" Diva's voice sounded resolute, her eyes staring intently at Taban. The man looks to be frowning. He watched the girl, gaped, his confusion growing.
Shanum who heard Diva's words kept his mouth shut. He tried to hold back his laughter. Seeing Taban's shocked and confused face made his stomach tingle. Shanum tried to move his tongue, and with great difficulty, managed to say, "I'm sorry my friend, you must be confused. He wants to come, he doesn't want to be left here" Shanum explained.
"We also couldn't possibly just leave those necessities with Farah. We have to choose for ourselves, because the needs of each woman are different. We also don't know if the types sold here are the same as in our country" Shanum continued.
Four staff members with perfect timing arrived with dishes filled with desserts at their lunch. Two staff members cleaned the table and two others placed pieces of the cake that looked tempting.
Farah leaned over to take a closer look. "What is a piece of glass? On the cake?" ask Farah in wonder. Shanum chuckled and the sound of his laughter slightly eased the tension that enveloped them as thick as that sugar-coated cake. "Don't ask. Just taste it," Shanum replied. "You sure this is edible, Sha?" chirps Farah. Diva pulls the cake plate, but her hand is patted by Farah. He pulled back the cake plate.
"Don't be stingy, if you don't want to eat the cake for me. The cake in front of you looks more tempting than mine," Diva said with a frown. "You take mine, I don't like sweet food." Taban poked his cake at Diva. The girl immediately picked up Taban's cake, her face beaming, her lips smelling a very sweet smile.
Taban was stunned, he sat up straight to look into the eyes of the Diva for a long time. This girl was so strange, she suddenly burst into anger, now smiling so sweetly. Taban who is not happy things smell sweet so suddenly likes. Shanum and Farah looked at each other meaningfully. "So, you're gonna take us, Taban?" ask Farah. Taban turned his head, then nodded his head. "Thank you Taban" said Farah.
The four of them drove towards the nearest shopping mall from the mansion. Along the road, Diva stole a glance at Taban who was driving a car. Taban is a handsome and good man according to him, Diva had felt her heart was about to fall when she received a deep gaze from the man while at the dining table earlier.
The sensation Diva feels is much more seductive than if the kitchen staff served a sweeter dessert, her favorite. The Diva was slightly immersed in that shadow, and her interlocked fingers, grasped it tighter. A cruel reality seeps into the mind of the Diva. Is correct. Because he had deceived the man, with his lying words earlier, while at the dinner table.
At that moment, Taban's eyes, seemed to strip his soul, and drained his emotions. That emotion made Diva's breath tight as she struggled to manage her up and down her chest carefully. He did not want to show his inner unrest to his two friends and the man.
Taban waited for them in front of the store while calling with his cell phone. The three girls immediately entered the store. They were greeted by a shopkeeper. Shanum hinted they wanted to take a look first. The shopkeeper understood and left them. Shanum immediately watched the surroundings of the shop. The diva moves in search of information about the back door of the store. And Farah is seen talking to someone on her phone.
"Come, we have to go to the back door, Tim is already on his way. We go to a safe place after that I'll share the location with Tim." Farah explained and took her two friends with her. Diva moved leading the way to the back door of this store, she had already gotten her information from one of the shopkeepers.
They looked left and right, before exiting the building through the back door. When they saw the surrounding situation felt safe and quiet, then they continued to run in the opposite direction to where Taban was waiting.
"Through here" said Farah leading. In silence, the three girls were sneaking around in the middle of the neatly lined shops. They are still looking for the right location, a place that is quite far from the initial location and protected from the suspicious view of others.
"Even though I'm glad we're running around like this, out of the man's grip, but, do we have an end goal?" muttered Diva while panting. Showing Farah's particular cue stopped suddenly, pointing out somewhere right in front of them. "There."
Diva rolled her eyeballs. "It's too crowded." "Better, so we can blend in and not be too flashy" Farah replied. "Again," said Shanum flatly, moving so as to pay attention to the place appointed by Farah.
The place is full of people who shop for daily necessities. A place that can be said as the Clean Market, a title that resembles in the country of origin of the three girls. Then they blend in among the people who are shopping.
It took a while to realize that the signal disappeared from Farah's phone. "Oh..shit!" farah was upset. "What's wrong?" Shanum leaned his head back while remaining alert looking at the situation around them.
"The signal's gone, I can't share our location with Tim." "Just use my phone." Diva thrust her phone at Farah. The girl took the phone from Diva's hand and tried Share Location back. "Yes, I can." "Try calling Tim again. How long can he get here. I don't want us to wait too long, very risky" Shanum explained.
Farah instantly understood Shanum's anxiety, they had already fled so far. He also did not want this to be in vain. "Hallo Tim, I've sent you the location. Is your position still far away? Oh, it's close. Okay, we wait." Farah ended the conversation. "The team is close from here, please help you look around. If Tim's car is already in sight, he's carrying a regular car." Shanum and Diva nodded their heads. They watch each other in silence.
Suddenly Diva pointed somewhere, "That's it, already seen her car. It's Tim." Shanum and Farah looked in the direction Diva pointed out. The three girls then move towards Tim's car. They get into the car, and Tim drives away from that location. This is how it ended up, Shanum admitted, they had managed to escape from Khan Adrian.
Shanum felt a deep pain as he remembered the man. At first he was happy to escape from it. But now that guilt had begun to spring up in her heart, she began to miss the man.
