The Woman Ruler of the Altan Clan

The Woman Ruler of the Altan Clan
Chapter 26 Elemental Strength

Khan brought Shanum into the forest behind the mansion. This forest was gripping compared to any forest he had ever been to.

The large, gnarled trees were entwined together, sprinkled and shrouded in moss so that the bark of the tree behind it was barely visible.

"Where are we going?" shanum asked, barely daring to whisper. Khan's hands were on his fingers. "I want to take you somewhere."

"Seriously, why go into the woods?" Shanum's heart rumbled, and he focused on his steps among the ferns, mosses, and roots. "This forest is where the woman is hiding. I know from Sergei, and I want to find information."

"Isn't that the same as approaching danger? What if he finds out about our arrival?" ask Shanum. "I'll cover us both with a visible spell."

"The queen is not stupid, she definitely knows it," Shanum said, his face gloomy. Khan stopped his steps. "He won't be able to see us, Shasha. Trust me, okay." The man held onto Shanum's shoulder. His eyes are almost parallel to his. The forest became quieter, the trees seemed to notice them, as if they wanted to catch every word. Shanum nodded his head while sighing.

We walked as far as we could without making a sound, intending to watch every sound that was heard. Suddenly Khan raised his hand and stopped Shanum in front of the forest opening.

There are two large tents set up in the middle of the land that is quite spacious. There was no sound or light from inside, not even any shadows from inside the tent.

Some birds in the forest were silent. Not completely, but keep their chirping until concubines are possible. Shanum grabbed Khan's hand. The man turned his head, then pulled the girl's shoulder and grabbed her. "We're already invisible, Shasha. So fear not" Khan whispered in his ear.

The trees around the forest openings are not so tight. Khan poked his head towards one of the nicest tents, bowing dramatically with agility. Shanum frowned. The girl looked confused. If they are invisible why should they sneak when approaching the tent.

Although astonished, the girl continued to follow Khan's movements. The dirt road led them to the door of the tent. The forest looked at their every step. Both avoid scattered leaves and branches. Do not want to cause a sound that can provoke the suspicions of tent residents.

Shanum watched the surroundings, as he stepped. She did not see any traps, but still her little heart gave a warning. The atmosphere was so silent, Shanum was afraid that they would enter the trap the queen had designed.

And it was like a fool Shanum saw Khan secretly trying to stick his ear near the door of the tent. The girl poked Khan's shoulder. The man looked. Shanum gave the code that on his left side there was an open hole. They can peek out of that hole.

The man smiled widely, and the girl was gobsmacked. A very interesting sight. It turned out that the man had a fairly deep dimple on the left side of the cheek. During this time Shanum never realized, because the man almost never smiled widely.

They approached towards the hole Shanum had pointed out earlier. Then a soft conversation came from within. Shanum did not understand what they were talking about. Suddenly the girl was fixated on seeing the figure of a man carrying an arrow on his back walking slowly towards the tent where they were standing. Shanum held his breath. His heart is beating fast.

Shanum glanced at Khan, the man still looked seriously eavesdropping on the conversation inside the tent. He still did not realize that anyone was heading towards them. Shanum stood stiff, not daring to move in the slightest. Even to look at him he did not dare.

The man passed in front of them, and did not look. It turns out they were real. The girl sighed, looking relieved. Khan realized something was coming when he was standing at the door and saying something.

Khan stood straight next to Shanum, and tightened his body towards the girl. The tent door opened, and a face appeared that Shanum was familiar with. She was a blind old woman who had already attacked him back then.

The woman came out of the tent, she spoke to the man who came. But suddenly the conversation stopped, he was silent. His face looked up and his eyes seemed to glitter sharply. Then he said something like a spell. He hit his foot. A pitch-black fog slowly emerged from under his stomped feet.

Khan pulled him away. The two quickly left the tent. Shanum heard the sound of screeching and screaming. The girl could not see in all directions. The black fog surrounded him.

Shanum panicked, where's Khan? The girl was separated from him. He was so focused on looking for the figure of Khan in the fog. Until it does not realize there is something coming behind it until the person's hand closes his mouth and pulls it until his feet are not grounded.

Shanum rebelled, biting, clawing, screaming while whoever it was lifted him up. He tried to break away, the dry leaves flying around him like street dust, but the arm that gripped him could not be moved, like an iron tie. A soft voice rang out in Shanum's ears, "Stop moving, or I'll break your neck." He didn't know that voice.

Shanum softened in his grip, delaying a speck of time to search for something, anything that could be used against him. "Good," he hissed in Shanum's ear. "Now, say..." Something hit the woman. He screamed, someone hurt him. Shanum broke away from his hard, sharp hands. His nails ripped Shanum's shirt off. The girl fell to the hard ground. He rolls over, turns around, turns around to get up.

Shanum saw Khan binding the woman with a red light tendril. Khan's own hands made a pattern in the air, his face cold and handsome like death. "News, Chinua." The woman gasped while trying to break away from the bond.

Khan tilted his head as if thinking about what to ask next. He straightened his body, and the woman slammed into the middle of the tree, making the tree crackle and knocking out its leaves.

Then something cold felt stuck to Shanum's neck. "Don't try to move" sizzled someone. Shanum glanced and saw the old woman was sticking a dagger around her neck. "Great One, release my Queen. Otherwise this pretty neck would be scratched." Shanum's blood cooled like the forest around him. His face was pale.

Khan was stunned, his hands stopped moving. The man looked at Shanum. Guilt and sadness were in his eyes. Shanum tried bravely and said the word 'No' without a sound to the man. But Khan made his decision. His bond to the queen slipped and slowly disappeared. "Now release the girl. I've removed your Queen" Khan said.

Then there was a loud laughter. The sound can make anyone who hears feel fear. Khan heard a rumbling sound. He could not move, even getting out of his way when something far more powerful than lightning struck him, and he struck the ground. Shanum looked furious.

"Wake, Adri. Don't think about me. Fight them!" shanum shouted. The girl did not care even though her own life was being threatened. The knife pressed Shanum's neck. "Don't say much, otherwise your neck will be slashed," the old woman sighed. Shanum stood stiff, his hands clenched tightly.

"Finally after a long time I saw a Khan Adrian bend his knees at the feet of a woman. I'll make you pay for your treatment earlier," Chinua growled, and a blue light struck Khan. His shout destroyed the man's throat as an unimaginable pain erupted within him.

"I'm sure you've protected the man who killed one of my right hands named Batu. Give me the man, then I'll let you live" Chinua gasped, and through Shanum's teary eyes, she saw the woman approaching Khan.

"Say!" erang that woman. Khan spat out the blood that filled his mouth. "No, I won't say it even if you smash me to pieces to the ground" Khan replied with a gasp. The woman hit Khan's handsome face, until he fell back to the ground. Blood flowed from his nose.

"Attria!" Shanum roaring. The girl screamed her name again-calling as if she was feeling the pain of Khan. The man turned his head and felt the entire ground tremble. The girl gave off her power. The golden light shone again. The girl's black eyes flashed with a glint. The dagger that was in the old woman's hand bounced along with the person who was holding it.

Then Khan felt the wind start roaring and swirling around them. The wind blew away everything Shanum wanted. Chinua tried to attack Shanum with his blue light. But the girl can break it. The blue light was easily drawn.

"I burned the man to ashes, Grandma Buyut." Chinua's eyes widened, he was shocked to hear the girl's words. "Why? You're shocked. Yeah, I'm the one. I am also one of the descendants of your brother" Shanum said.

"You." Chinua shook his head, his expression was one of disbelief at all. It's funny that Shanum isn't very upset. "No. No way, I've wiped out all his descendants." Chinua squinted her eyes.

So then. This is the woman who is responsible for all those lives that have been lost, all the fears that have come after her since yesterday. Damned woman. Shanum tilted his chin, his body shivering with something more than fear and anger.

"Well, well, someone escaped," Chinua said, knowing it didn't satisfy him, he had failed. What he wanted to do now was to finish off the girl. The power of the Big Brother sniffed by her was that of the girl. So this girl in front of him was what he was looking for. It turned out to be the same person who had already obliterated the Stone.

Those dark blue eyes narrowed in anger. "How did you know that?" ask Chinua. "From the blood-bonding magic." The queen's face darkened, her slender fingers raised to caress her black hair. "It turns out my brother's blood is very strong. But still, you will perish in my hands," he said aloud.

"Why? Why are you trying to kill us?" ask Shanum. Chinua growled, then began to prepare to bring back his strength. A blue light seemed to be emitting from both of his hands.

"Because of him, I dumped my parents. I have to live hard with a blind woman, while she's struggling with wealth and fame." The woman laughed like crazy. "He can't beat me. I'm a queen. My strength is unlimited" he said again.

The blue light immediately shot towards Shanum. Make it bounce far away and fall to the ground. Shanum tried to get back on his feet, the golden light and the whirlwind started moving back. He put a shield of light around him. Up to the place where Khan Adrian was lying on the ground.

Now he realized that this power was a gift. Not bad, but not good. Only, the elemental power formed and controlled by his own heart could protect him and Khan.

Shanum had heard from the man, on the sidelines of their training. Elemental power sustained most of the power possessed by the entire clan. That power consisted of the powers of Lightning, Wind, Earth, Fire, Water, Nature, and Light. Now he conjures up the power of light and wind. Shanum wants to get rid of the queen.

Shanum's perceived acceptance gave him indescribable control. In his mind he could imagine them, as hard and thick as steel. Releasing his strength flowed throughout his body. Shanum is still in a defensive position. Chinua attacked him from all directions.

"No," sis Chinua. "This time you're done." Shanum gritted his teeth, fighting the pain even as he felt the bond of his strength begin to loosen. "You are too weak to kill me, Ancestor," Shanum warned. "Stop this before I have to hurt you." "Hurt me?" pekik Chinua was violent, his hands releasing the power of light and lightning. "No one can take my throne. Even you, Mother Girl."

Then on one occasion, when the queen began to let her guard down. Shanum concentrated and released a very strong whirlwind followed by a golden light that formed into many tendrils. The tendril was moving towards Chinua. The woman was shackled by the tendrils and hit by the wind like a knife incision. He injured and scratched his body. Chinua then disappeared, thrown from where he stood. Shanum really got rid of that woman.

While surrounding him were ravaged, Shanum still stood firmly in his place. His face looked tired, his breathing was irregular. He has put a lot of energy out. There was not a single person left at that location. They all flew somewhere.

Shanum then approached Khan. He fell to his knees before the man. His eyes met Khan's. Shanum looked at Khan's terrible state lying on the ground. Unable to move, unable to speak. His nose was broken, blood kept flowing from the corner of his mouth. The position of his legs is not bent properly and his hand is hanging broken.

Shanum again shed tears, the longer the trembling sobs burst from him. He pulled Khan's head into his lap gently. "Adri, I'm sorry" the girl whispered as she stroked Khan's hair. The girl's cry was so heartbreaking.

"You're doing this because of me." Shanum rubbed the man's face and hands. He tried to bring back his power. The girl knew her strength was already drained a lot, but there was no way she would let Khan lay helpless and injured like that. Shanum has healing powers, and he must try to help her.

Khan began to feel a warm air spreading throughout his body. Healed his face, his hands and his injured leg. Although Khan was severely injured, he was still able to see the power struggle between Shanum and Chinua. The man smiled proudly in his heart. This girl is amazing.

Khan raised his hand which was recovering. He stuttered, the air flooding his throat. He was still lying on the ground with Shanum's soft lap as the back of his head. No pain, no blood, no broken bones.

Khan groaned as he propped up his body with his hands on the ground, preparing to stand up. Now the man can get back up, helped by Shanum. "Is anyone still sick, Adri?" tanyanya gently.

Khan held his breath and as he exhaled the man grabbed Shanum's body in his arms. They're stuck for a while. "thank you. I've had better" whispered the man in his ear. Hearing that Shanum instantly felt limp, his body trembling. Shanum was very tired, but felt really relieved. Khan grabbed Shanum's body, he tightened his hand. He held the girl's body so as not to touch the ground.

"You're not used to using that much power. We'd better get back to the mansion, Shasha. We both need a break. I don't want Chinua to come back here and find us. The woman will definitely come back in wrath, so we need preparation" he said.

While still embracing Shanum, Khan cast a spell. And a sparkle appeared a little far from before them. The glow of light was almost mirror-like, but not fully formed. "Geez," Shanum sighed, his heart stuck in his throat. "What's that?" The man then pulled Shanum over to the sparkle of light. "It's a portal." "Portals?" ask the girl. "Yes, a portal is a doorway between space and time."

"Waw, like the door to where Doraemon is," Shanum said. They stopped in front of the portal. "Are you scared?" Khan asked with a faint smile. Shanum shook his head, his eyes opened to reveal a strong gleam within his black eyes. "Ah, a fighter. Remind me never to try to make you angry" seduced the man. Shanum rolled his eyes and grinned at Khan's temptation.

Then they entered the portal. Shanum blinked his eyes, as he reached the other side. They returned to the mansion, precisely in the living room of the mansion. The guards, Sergei, Dario and Taban, were on standby. When looking at the ones that appeared from behind the portal were Khan and Shanum, they regained their composure. The tense face was already invisible from everyone's facial expressions.
