Shanum tried to digest Khan's words. Even though he is still confused. Because he did not understand why they had to be trapped there to death from starvation.
Couldn't they go back down that path and discuss strategies to put out the fire. And if on the way later they have to meet the enemy, of course they can fight with full strength. He and the four men had a magic combination that could not be underestimated.
Shanum's mind was split when he saw Jullian suddenly crouching near a grove of shrubs. He touched one of the plants and closed his eyes with a serious face.
"What did Jullian do?" shanum asked as he looked towards Khan. The man was also watching Jullian's behavior. "He was communicating with the plant" Khan replied.
"You mean he can talk to plants?" shanum asked again in amazement. "Yes, Jullian has the power of natural elements. He could speak, grow and move plants as he pleased."
Shanum gawked in shock. The girl was amazed to discover one more thing that was awesome from this world of elemental power.
"I had a brief conversation with Sergei, yes" Khan told Shanum as he got up from his seat. The man approached Sergei who was looking seriously at the forest.
Shanum just nodded at Khan's words. His gaze remained fixed on Jullian. The girl seemed interested in watching the man's behavior. Now the man is muttering. It was as if he was conversing directly with the plant.
The man would doubt his sanity if he did so in the presence of an ordinary human. Shanum smiled amusedly by himself, as all of them who were here would also be similarly considered insane if performing magic-related behaviors.
Suddenly Shanum frowned. He recalled Jullian instead of having teleportation power. Why don't they just ask for his help to get out of here? And why would the man just shut up when everyone was dizzy thinking about a safe way back?
As if sensing Shanum was looking at him intently, Jullian looked up and his eyes flashed an indecipherable look towards Shanum.
"Jullian, can I talk to you?" call the girl.
Jullian nodded in reaction, he got up from a squatting position then patted both hands. The man approached Shanum.
"You need me, Your Majesty?" tanyakanya. Shanum rolled his eyes and said, "Don't call me that. Just call Shanum."
"I can't, Your Majesty," Jullian said briefly.
"I'm pushy! You can only call me that if I'm a legitimate partner, but not right now." Shanum said resolutely while keeping a friendly smile. Jullian nodded his head in understanding.
"By the way is there a problem with your teleportation power?" ask Shanum.
"No." The man replied while looking at Shanum with his face illegible.
"That means you can get us out of here by teleporting?"
"Could be" he replied again. The man's face still looked flat. The answer is as flat as his face. Shanum was astonished, what Farah saw from this man, so the girl was after him.
Shanum then clucked while exhaling his breath. "Why don't you tell them? That's right there, they're busy looking for a way out of here." Shanum pointed to Khan and Sergei who were still seen discussing seriously.
"You didn't ask me." Jullian was still with an innocent expression. And Shanum felt like ruffling that handsome flat face.
"Adri, may I have a minute." Shanum gestured for Khan to approach him. This girl got up from her seat.
"What's up, Shasha?" ask Khan.
"Jullian can help get us out of here with his teleportation." Shanum said it excitedly. He was glad that there was finally a solution to their problem.
"I knew. But we can't do that" Khan replied calmly.
Shanum stood stiffly hearing the man's words. His face looks confused. "Why can't it?" tanyanya.
"Because we're going to subdue the plot. Not running away." Khan looked at Shanum with a serious look.
"Why is teleportation considered escape? Don't we really want to get out of here?" shanum asked impatiently.
"Yes, we're gonna get out of here. But by arresting the troublemakers by ambushing them. If they harm us it means only death will happen." The man's golden-brown eyes looked glistening sharp and dangerous.
Shanum suddenly realized that they were going to kill someone not in a fair battle or fight, but outwit the enemy, secretly, and that person would stand no chance.
Shanum doubts if he can do it? He was not an experienced fighter like the four men, who had gotten used to ambushing the enemy and killing him. The first murder he committed in Astrakhan alone to date still leaves a bitter taste in his throat and severe nausea in his stomach, if he remembers it.
Like humans, Shanum is a toddler among a group of adults. He still had a sense of unbearability, even with the enemy though. If he could, he wanted it all to end peacefully without bloodshed.
Sergei raised his eyebrows. "Do you have any advice, Shanum? How do we catch these people? Because I see doubt on your face."
Shanum let out a loud sigh, he stared fretfully at them. He thought hard how best to solve this problem and convince the two men?
"I still don't want unnecessary killing. Can we ambush them without killing?" he urged the four men.
Sergei shook his head at Shanum's words. "Your partner has a heart as soft as cotton, the Great One. Looks like you'll have to protect her strictly if you follow the Selection later. Because he's gonna be in a bunch of bloodthirsty sharks, and he's gonna be torn to shreds if he stays like this."
Shanum immediately squinted his eyes while looking at Sergei. "I'm not a coward, and I will definitely fight back. It is my conscience that does not accept killing with cold hands without the concept of justice. Is that wrong?"
"No, it's not wrong. And I get it." Khan drew closer to Shanum, he rubbed his cheeks at a glance with the tip of his fingers. His eyes looked deeply at her. A smile coined on Shanum's lips upon hearing the man's words.
"He'll get through it, Sergei. My girl is strong, and I believe her." Khan turned his head towards Sergei. Then he looked back at Shanum.
Sergei cleared his throat as he coughed small. "Em, so what should we do now, Great One."
Khan turned back and grinned. "Now we can have a picnic on the river. If any of you want to swim please do. But I think it's best not. You need to stay alert watching the river."
The three men who were there gawked at Khan's words. As for Shanum, he immediately approached Khan and kissed his cheek quickly. The girl then returned to her distance.
Khan instantly became stiff. He turned his head like a robot, and found the girl smiling mischievously at him, with eyes sparkling happily.
"I'm glad I finally got to swim, too. I miss swimming in this river" Shanum said. Khan immediately shook his head while chuckling with amusement.heard Shanum's chattering.
"Then come on, I'll take care of you from the river." Khan stepped up while gesturing to follow him. He led the girl to a shallower riverbank.
Instantly Shanum stopped stepping as understanding began to form in his head. He looked and looked at Khan. In Shanum's mind their bond speaks that the man is doing this for himself. Ever since the enemy started to interfere, he undoed the intention to swim like himself. The man knew he dreamed of swimming in the river.
Shanum directly hit Khan, and wrapped his arms around the man's waist. Khan flinched back because he was not ready to receive Shanum's body. "I'm happy to be your lover, Adri," she whispered.
Khan felt his heart warm up receiving a hug and Shanum's words. He embraced tightly. "I'm also very happy, Shasha."
The girl then let go of her embrace while smilingly staring at the man. He was unwilling to make the Khan tormented by the insistence of their paired instincts, if too long to embrace him.
Khan felt lost as the girl's body moved away from him. But he understood, they should not hug too long. The reaction of the bond can sometimes return and make it difficult to control it.
Right now, in the man's gaze, he saw Shanum stepping directly behind one of the large stones that was near the river. He opened his hoodie jacket, in which he was wearing a swimsuit made of black lycra.
The shirt falls over the thigh with the length of the arm down to the elbow. His subordinate, a set with his top was a sports leggings, which quite politely covered his body. Shanum took the hair rubber, and tied the hair in coils at the top of his head.
His smooth skull was visible in Khan's eyes, and the man gulped his saliva. He immediately turned to look towards the river. Trying to normalize his crazy heart rate. It is amazing the impact of this pair bond, just by looking at the smooth nape he is passionate.
"I'm ready. What's the matter, Adri?" Shanum felt an oddity happen to the man. Khan looked frustrated and he was afraid it was because of the hug.
"I'm fine," Khan replied in a hoarse voice. The man tried to smile thinly to cover up his feelings.
"You sure, Adri? It's not because of the hug?" shanum Urge. Khan shakes. "Come, if you want to swim. After this we have to go back to the forest." Khan tried to divert the conversation.
"okay." Shanum then approached the river's lips and tried to dip the tip of his foot first. After feeling he liked the water that is not too cold, he slowly entered the depth of the river.
"I'm grateful you weren't traumatized by the sinking the other day" Khan said from the riverbank. Shanum turned his head while swimming not far from where Khan was standing. "I learned to overcome my fear by trying to swim in the pool while in your mansion."
"Oh, huh? Why don't I know?" Khan frowned in surprise.
"I was swimming when you went to the office. I don't want to see your anxious face when I see me shivering in fear, or suddenly feeling short of breath" the girl replied with a smile.
"Oh my God, Shasha, it's dangerous! I suspect you did it without your two best friends accompanying you." Khan squinted his eyes looking riled up.
"Yes, I don't want to make them anxious either" he replied slowly.
Rahang Khan tightened, the man looked angry. "Never do such a dangerous thing without the supervision of others, Shasha. I want you to promise me!"
"Hey, it's over. I've been through those times. And why are you getting angry?" The girl pouted and swam away. He did not like to see the man's vexed face aimed at him.
Khan exhaled. He approached a nearby rock and sat on it. The man watched Shanum's movements. He knew he shouldn't vent his frustration to the girl.
But he was disappointed that the girl did not involve him. Khan wanted to accompany him through the crisis. He also wanted to be the first to see the girl recover from her trauma.
In addition, Khan also felt anxious for the safety of the girl, to control her entire mind, obscuring her common sense.
He did not want to experience any more tense moments when medics had to perform CPR on Shanum. Looking at her pale face and her blue lips. Khan's feelings for Shanum were deep.
Shanum swam for fifteen minutes in the river. But until the completion of Shanum swim, Khan still did not say anything more to Shanum. He just watched in silence. And after the girl had ascended to the mainland again, the man went to approach Jullian and Abdan.
Khan seemed to avoid him, and it made Shanum even more upset. The man did not apologize to her, but instead chose to ignore her.
After Shanum finished changing clothes behind a big tree on the river bank. Sergei announced it was time for them to enjoy the food that Jullian and Abdan had brought.
They eat on grass-fed, dry ground. Jullian helps grow grass by expelling its natural power. And in a short time, a cushioned grass-based seat began to spring up from within the ground.
Shanum was no longer amazed. In addition to his upset mood, he did not care about how the grass could magically grow before him.
Shanum also wanted to eat immediately and return to his room inside the villa. The girl was already not interested in dealing with those rioters. Let the men be the only ones responsible for dealing with it.
They all ate in a somber atmosphere. And that cannot be separated from Sergei's observation. He noticed Khan's sudden cold and stiff behavior. While Shanum's face was not much different, the girl looked just as stiff and cold.
"What's wrong with you two? Did you two fight?" urge Sergei. Both did not answer. Sergei rolled his eyeballs and clucked himself.
"You guys are so funny. He was busy staring at each other feelingly and hugging warmly. Now it becomes cold and stiff with each other." Sergei quipped.
"I'm sorry, I can't go with you guys to trap those rioters. Jullian, can you take me straight to the villa with your teleportation?" Shanum immediately finished his meal. His stomach suddenly nausea continued to be in that place. The girl got up from her seat.
Although Shanum's words still do not answer Sergei's questions directly. But from his words the man could already conclude, these two lovers were fighting. Sergei could only shake his head.
While the other two men looked at each other with confused expressions. Only Khan remained silent, his face remained flat and cold.
Sergei let out a tired sigh and said, "Can Shanum go back to the villa, the Great One?" ask him to Khan.
"I don't need his approval" Shanum cut into a ketus. "Come on Jullian, get me." Shanum turned towards the man. Jullian did not move. He looked in the direction Khan kept asking for his approval.
"OK, if you don't want to drive me, Jullian. I'm going back through that path, alone!" Shanum then galloped towards the forest.
But only a few steps he had been blocked by Khan. The man restrained his body by blocking his hand. Shanum immediately glared towards the man. He tried to rebel. "Let go of me, you son of a bitch has no feelings" he said in a loud voice.
Along with the completion of the speech that was thrown from Shanum's mouth, a golden color suddenly emerged from his palm. The girl pushed Khan strongly. And the man crashed far away until his body hit the bushes that were there.
Shanum realized that he had been acting rudely. He threw his lover's body with his strength. The girl smothered her mouth when she saw Khan slamming into the bushes.
Abdan and Jullian darted closer to Khan after they realized something was wrong had happened to the man, after a few seconds that passed Khan did not immediately get up from where he landed falling.
They were quite shocked when they saw that the man had not fainted. Khan was staring up at the sky with a face full of scratches, and eyes gleaming creepily. The two men were nervous seeing Khan's expression.
"You all right, Great One?" abdan asked with a scared face. Khan turned his head and said, "You'd better take the girl to the villa by teleportation, Jullian. I don't want to see him here with us."
