The Woman Ruler of the Altan Clan

The Woman Ruler of the Altan Clan
Chapter 132 The Decree of Shanum

The atmosphere felt from the room. Even after Chinua's amused laughter was heard, silence dominated. It was as if they were waiting for the next surprise to come.

"Please get that man out of my sight, Dario. Before my patience runs out, and she ends up in my hands, "Shanum ordered while facing her. Dario immediately obeyed, immediately moved and called out to the few bodyguards standing guard at the door.

Shanum noticed the bastard man, one of the noble councils was dragged away forcibly. The man's eyes flashed with a vengeance, staring at Shanum sharply, his whole body could be stiff, but his eyes could still move and radiate the contents of the owner's heart. The contents of the heart that may contain an oath of absorbency and a desire to fight.

"Dario, you better prepare, my magic willfully let go after you walk a hundred meters from the tent" Shanum said in a cold tone.

Dario nodded his head, continuing his steps to escort the man, accompanied by two bodyguards.

Actually Shanum can shackle the man for longer, but he is unwilling to expend energy in vain, while the man's magic power is at a lower level than him. Dario can certainly handle the man.

After the figures of Dario and the bodyguards were nowhere to be seen, Shanum felt his skin suddenly bristling. He turned his head and circulated his gaze toward everyone, looking for the culprit who was casting the alarming magic.

In his search, his eyes were fixed on one person, and he was stunned as he caught the direction of the person's gaze. The man, who was making his observations, was seen looking at his subject with centralized supervision.

Shanum. The room and the people who were there instantly faded away. The man's gaze attracted him, as if he was forced to continue paying attention without pause.

Shanum gasped for breath, feeling as though the entire oxygen supply in the room was shrinking, making his breath take off from his body as he found himself trapped by the cold but burning gaze of the man.

Shanum's entire body was warm and his eyes could not be sidetracked, constantly fixated on catching the temptation of the man's burning gaze.

"Geez you two," continued a voice to Shanum's right. The voice broke eye contact between the two.

Shanum sighed, then turned his head, he saw Chinua shake his head, flicked his hand while rolling his eyeballs, and said back, "Didn't there still be a lot of people who need your attention in this meeting, in addition to throwing hot eyes at each other."

Shanum is continuing to cleared his throat with a reddened face. "Auntie.." he said in a slightly hoarse voice.

"And do not let because of the two of you, this tent is also burning," Chinua said again.

"Enough, Auntie. There is no need to overdo it" sis Shanum with a reddened face.

Not wanting to continue hearing the taunts from Chinua, Shanum turned his gaze to everyone in the room, then said, "Hem, please continue. I seem to need some fresh air right now" Shanum said as he grimaced and stood up.

Shanum felt his body suddenly sultry, and needed to cool down the heat he felt in his veins. Before everyone in the room read the embarrassing thing he felt just because of a look. He better get out of everyone's sight.

He did not dare to look at the man back. He immediately stepped over while nodding his head to Chinua. "I'm out first, Auntie."

Chinua did not comment, he simply threw a smirk smile back at Shanum's hasty saying.

On his stool, Khan squinted his eyes at Chinua. The man's face looked intimidating and sent a signal of annoyance to the woman. But Chinua was not affected, she returned Khan's gaze with an amused smile that was not covered up.

Actually Chinua wanted to continue his fad again to the two lovebirds, but seeing Shanum's agitated and embarrassed reaction, he became unbearable. Chinua did not know how deep the effect of pairing bound as soul mates was. But seeing the behavior of the two, he was sure they had some kind of telepathy to communicate.

"Where are you going, Shasha? This meeting has not yet begun" Khan asked in a loud voice, after turning his stern gaze away from Chinua. Shanum stopped stepping, with a stiff body as if reluctant to react, but he kept turning his head.

Shanum noticed Khan standing up from the tail of his eyes, he walked quickly towards the door of the tent, and ended up pulling his arm. It was as if he was trying to dissuade Shanum from leaving the room.

Shanum sighed, forced to turn around. "You heard my words, Adri. I need some fresh air. So, don't block me" he replied, pulling his arm from the man's grip.

"If you get out of here. I also come with you and this meeting has to be postponed" whispered the man close to his face. Khan's expression looked solemn, he stared fixedly at Shanum.

Shanum replied with a tired expression. "No need to delay because of me, Adri. Please just continue."

Khan shook his head. "It's a shame I forced you to come to the end. And you can't refuse me, honey. Because at the outer border of this place the Erebos Clan has gathered waiting for the result of our decision."

Shanum's jaw tightens. An annoyed look reflected on his face. "All right! I'm not getting out of this tent, satisfied!" gerutu Shanum stomped an annoyed step towards his seat back.

Khan smiled amusedly at his wife's sulking behavior.

"You're adorable, Shasha" Khan said in his heart, following Shanum's steps, towards the woman's seat.

Khan gestured to the people on Shanum's right and left to shift, until the position on one of Shanum's seats became vacant. All of them simultaneously moved following the orders of the Leader.

And Shanum became increasingly agitated in his seat, wondering inwardly what the man was forcing to sit next to him.

"No need to be so nervous. I'm not gonna bite you right now. I'll do it when we're both."

Shanum snorted at the words that her husband had said. His face was getting reddened withstanding the shame and annoyance. It was a shame for their private affairs to be public consumption like this. Although he is now in a different cultural area, the ethics in behaving and speaking according to the teachings of his parents are still closely attached.

If only I could postpone this meeting, I would definitely take you to a place where there are only the two of us, Shasha. And after all this is done, the first thing I want to do is go back to our tent and make you squint my name for hours.

Shanum was silent for a long time, feeling increasingly uneasy. Moreover, personal speech that was thrown in his mind with a tone full of temptation, which made indecent thoughts suddenly mill around in his head.

Shanum turned his head to the side, watching Khan show a grin on his sexy lips, following those mischievous eyes and electrifying expressions. Expressions that can make the girls in his world scream hysterically, such as when meeting famous Korean stars idolize them.

And he savagely enjoyed all the temptations he had made. He was amazed, the man as stiff and cold as the refrigerator could seduce him all out like that.

"Just continue the meeting," Shanum said with a slightly hoarse voice mixed stiffly. Although Khan's every speech and expression certainly affected him, Shanum tried to act calm, as if he felt nothing.

"It seems your husband is thirsty, Shanum. Since then his behavior is like a man who has not been given a drink for many years" whispered Chinua while smiling amusedly.

Shanum glared at Chinua. He beckoned his aunt to shut her mouth. Fortunately, Khan was looking at one of the elders who warned him to start the meeting immediately.

Eventually the meeting resumed, led by Khan in seriousness. And Shanum could breathe a sigh of relief. Of all the attitudes displayed by Khan, his nosy attitude this time was very disliked by him.

The first thing they talk about is the fate of Taban and Tunaya.

Both have been taken to the prisoner's tent in a condition shackled by magic and guarded with layered security. That special magic curbed their motor movements, to the point of not being able to move in the slightest.

When Khan mentioned Taban... Shanum dared to swear there was something akin to grief - a kind of regret visible in the man's eyes.

Shanum wondered if her husband was remembering the time he spent with Taban. With the kindness and devotion that the man once showed him. However Taban was already considered by Khan like a sibling he did not have.

It was very difficult for Shanum to keep his mouth shut, not to tell the Khan, the elders and the noble councils not to impose the death penalty on Taban, and it was not a sign of his partiality. He just felt that the man was basically good. It is grudge and envy that has sealed some of the good in him.

After a long and contentious debate, they agreed that Taban and the fake Tunaya-Sarna were given the punishment of exile to the Mordana Forest.

Shanum.

If this punishment of exile were imposed on the fake Sintai of course he would support one hundred percent. But if for Taban, he feels sad. Because the punishment is the same as sentenced to death both of them. Shanum was not sure that Taban and the fake Sintai would be able to survive in the forest.

He had heard Khan's story, Mordana Forest is dominated by hundreds of poisonous plant species and ferocious animals whose names and forms Shanum had never heard of in his world.

The Mordana Forest, isolated by powerful witches hundreds of years ago, is a special place for the witches who get the toughest punishment.

The forest cannot be entered. Residents remain there, animals and plants also can not get out of the forest environment. The Mordana Forest was surrounded by extremely powerful isolation magic.

Shanum shuddered in horror at how dangerous the forest was. He was sure the two condemned would not make it out alive from there.

"Goddessa..."

Shanum flinched, turning his head towards the owner of the voice that called out to him. His daydream suddenly faded away instantly feeling a gentle and warm swipe in his fingers.

"Y-yes." she replied, with a shocked expression mixed with stuttering. Shanum's brain was suddenly empty and his heart was pounding again.

"You haven't answered my question." Khan smiled faintly as he raised an eyebrow.

"I'm sorry, repeat the question. I was, um, thinking of something" he said, grimacing. It was not his fault if his attitude turned into this misbehavior in front of the man. Since then Khan brought out his irresistible charm without pause. Shanum was restless and overwhelmed by it.

The swabs in his fingers turned into a tight grasp. It was as if the man was trying to bring her back from her fascination towards the man.

"Okay, I repeat. Do you agree with our decision on the punishment of exile to the Mordana Forest?"

Shanum. He stared half-emptyly at Khan. Looking at those golden eyeballs that hypnotized him. And again she became the victim of her own husband's charm. It is difficult when you are drunk in love.

The eyes flashed, showing the man knew what he was feeling and thinking. Shanum shook his head, trying to refocus.

"Why?" tanyanya.

He still did not expect them to need his voice in the determination of the verdict.

"Em, I mean... Why are you still asking me about my decision? Isn't your decision final?"

Khan smiled gently towards Shanum. "No, not final. We still need your decision. Because you are the Chosen One and you also subdue them. So we'll still listen to your decision."

Shanum. For a moment he fell silent, then shook his head again. "You're exaggerating too much. Here I do not fight alone. Without you, I'm nothing."

"No need to go down, Shanum. We are all living witnesses of how extraordinary you were in the war yesterday" Sergei said with a smile.

Shanum returned Sergei's smile, then circulated his eyes around the room. Staring one after another at the faces of the elders, the noble council, the clan leaders, the new family, and his comrades in arms. He looked at the respectful gaze within the net depths of their eyes.

Then Shanum cleared his throat and said, "Is there an alternative punishment for seclusion other than the Mordana Forest?"

Everyone threw gazes at each other doubtfully. Some were frowning, trying to digest Shanum's intention of throwing such questions at them.

"There" Nekhii said, breaking the silence while looking at Shanum with a serious look of understanding.

Shanum's waiting. They were all waiting for the continuation of Nekhii's speech.

"The punishment is the disarmament of magic possessed by them, so that they become ordinary humans without magic again, and are exiled to the human territory far from here without ever being able to come into contact with us again. They'll be given a separation spell."

"You mean, they won't be able to see us even when they cross paths?" shanum asked in an astonished tone. He felt that anyone who could master that magic was an extraordinary person. Surely the owner of magic is included in the class of magicians that exist.

"Yes, their memories were not erased. They can still remember us, remember his life during the magic world. But they won't be able to see people or our magical world. Their world is completely separate from ours, though they seek the past, they will not find it. Unless the punishment is overturned by the magician."

"I've heard of this punishment. This punishment is one type of curse magic that can be learned. But unfortunately, no one has managed to learn it perfectly until now. Except for one man, and the dead man took his knowledge with no one to replace him." Sergei came making a sound while frowning.

"Yes, but now I'm sure someone will be able to do the magic" Nekhii replied again.

The room suddenly boomed. They all made a sound, wondered next to him, and looked excited at Nekhii's continued words.

"Say, Grandma, who's that guy?" urged Khan with a curious expression.

"Yes...who, Nekhii?" connect Eej with the same interest.

Nekhii smiled faintly, then his gaze turned towards Shanum who had been watching with the same enthusiasm since then.

"You're Shanum, only you can. I'm sure" said Nekhii.

Shanum's eyes widened, then he shook his head, half in disbelief that he was considered to be able to master the magic.

"You can do it, Shanum. Because inside you flows the blood of your ancestral grandfather. Her magic I see descending upon you. And that magic can only be mastered by him, my brother-Grandfather of your ancestors." Chinua replied from next to him in a confident voice.

Shanum was stunned again.

He only found out that his ancestor's grandfather was a great magician who was able to master the rare magic.

"You must be kidding me, Auntie. If Grandpa is able, you should as his biological brother can also master the magic," Shanum argued.

"Unfortunately I can't. The last time I tried it, it ended with my life almost drifting. So I don't want to try it anymore" Chinua said with a faint smile.

"No, Shasha. Don't try to choose the punishment for the two cursed criminals" Khan said with tightened jaws.

Shanum looked at her husband. The pain in his fingers from Khan's wrath he didn't care. Shanum's limelight is distracted by the echoes of despair screaming in their bonds.

The voice came from the man. Soul mates. The man did not want him to be injured even to the point of losing his life in learning that rare magic, which turned out to be very dangerous. Shanum cupped his other palm over Khan's fingers, and rubbed it gently.

Shanum channeled a calming energy, to dampen the anxiety of his soul mate. And it worked, the echoes in their bond gradually recovering, leaving only mild ripples of anxiety. Of course, he must be able to convince his partner, so that the ripples do not re-enlarge.

Shanum has to prove to Khan that he can try it. And he was half dead wanting to learn it. He is optimistic that it will succeed, without the catastrophe that accompanies the process later.

"So ?" ask Chinua while raising her eyebrows.

Shanum looked back at his surroundings, looking at the faces awaiting his decision.

He took a deep breath, trying to muster up his courage to decide. "Well, I chose the exile sentence Nekhii said for Taban. As for Tunaya stick with the verdict of Mordana Forest."

A loud voice sounded in the room. Most were heard from the Tunayan family. Tunaya's parents, who had suddenly arrived because their child's information had been found and were involved in a serious crime, expressed their objection. Both of Tunaya's parents have been searching for Tunaya for hundreds of years.

"You're not fair, Damn woman! We don't accept it! Our son should have received the same punishment as that man." Shanum heard the protest being waged by the mother from Tunaya.

"Enough, Mother. The crimes of Tunaya cannot be forgiven. He's been conspiring to kill Khan's father, kill his ex-girlfriend, and slander me. Our clan was considered traitors, and we were all sentenced back then. Have you forgotten her, Mother?" zuunaa.

"Be quiet, brash kid doesn't know himself. He's your brother. You should have defended her like your mother, not agreed with the woman's babble. You have no idea how hard Father and Mother have been trying for hundreds of years to find your sister. And once found they wanted to punish him cruelly. If it wasn't for you it wouldn't have been possible for your sister to commit this crime" snapped Sukhba-dad Zuunaa and Tunaya, the Great Bataar Clan.

Zuunaa. All his life, he had never been yelled at by his parents. Although the sentence was handed down hundreds of years ago, they were angry. But the anger was not stirred by words. They just continued to ignore him, busy themselves with the search for his sister who suddenly disappeared. Take care of it as it is, no matter though it slowly loses its sanity due to heartbreak and neglect.

But he was never treated like today. Being publicly yelled at and considered all the trouble his sister made was his fault.

Zuunaa suddenly realized, as if she had been in a dream state, and she woke up from a deep sleep full of dreams with the painful reality, that both her parents blamed her.

"I wouldn't consider him a sister, Dad. Even though we have the same blood, he's already considered dead. And that's been the case ever since I found out that he was the mastermind of all the evil directed at me back then. Because all my suffering during this time was caused by him," Zuunaa replied as she got up and kicked down the table with a reddened face full of anger and disappointment.

"And don't you care about my feelings too? I'm your son, not just him." Tears rolled down from Zuunaa's beautiful eyes. Describes how much pain his heart destruction caused by the words of his parents earlier.

Zuunaa's lover instantly woke up from his position. The man pulled Zuunaa into his lap while looking sharply at Zuunaa's parents.

The man pulled Zuunaa into his arms even tighter as he heard the sobs of the woman getting louder. Oriod-lover Zuunaa focused more and more on the woman, rubbing her hair, looking patient in whispering words of comfort to her. Oriod in Shanum's eyes, looks very adoring to his woman.

Both of Zuunaa's parents did not continue his protest. They were suddenly silent a thousand languages, yet still the stern expression depicted in the gloom of their faces.

"Oh come on, Qacha-Sukhba. You should be ashamed and self-conscious. Tunaya can no longer be saved. Your son has harbored a dangerous insanity since childhood. I've been able to read it since he was caught torturing the animals around him. Your son is a psychopath. I think his madness has become even more so since he learned the false magic. If you continue to defend your ego, you will soon lose your remaining son." Nekhii tried to advise as well as dampen the heated situation.

"Yes, Uncle Sukhba. Accept with chest. I'm actually reluctant to call you that name, even though you're actually my father's Step Sister." Chinua joined in to speak Nekhii.

"He's your Step Uncle, Auntie?" shanum asked with a astonished expression. Chinua immediately nodded answering Shanum's question.

"Oh, I get it. So I was said to have the blood of the entire clan because of this. It turns out you are all relatives. Gosh, after this surprise what else will be revealed. Let's just say, who else in this room has a kinship with me. Don't tell me the man of the noble council that I just met the punishment turned out to be my relative as well, Bibi," Shanum added, pretending to be annoyed.

Chinua directly pinned Shanum's head. "Just son, our relatives there is nothing disgusting like that" he protested loudly.

Shanum was small, he deliberately threw a little joke to make the hot atmosphere cool down a little.

"While lost there is also. For example, my Step Uncle" Chinua continued, chuckling, and throwing a scornful look at Sukhba.

Shanum sighed tiredly. The atmosphere that had begun to cool became heated again by Chinua. It was as if the woman had deliberately provoked the commotion back to occur.

"You..."

Sukhba clenched his hands on the table, with his face flushed back in anger.

Shanum closed his eyes while groaning softly. Sure enough, Chinua made the atmosphere back heated up.

"Enough." Khan stared at Sukhba with a sharp look.

"If you keep acting like this, you better get out of this room, Sukhba. I don't want any fights in this place." Khan looked at the man with a loud intonation.

"This meeting is led by me. So you and your wife have to respect the rules I made. If you still want to be here and attend this meeting, please keep an attitude."

"And I also don't want anyone else to intentionally escalate the situation. Each one of you in this room must also maintain an attitude" Khan said.

Silent.

Khan's loud remarks made the atmosphere gripping. Even Zuunaa who was still sobbing became silent.

"How, Sukhba? Is it clear enough?" ask Khan.

Sukhba snorted loudly. "Yes. But I decided to leave here." Then the man forced his wife to stand up and rushed out of the room with a face soaking in anger.
