The Woman Ruler of the Altan Clan

The Woman Ruler of the Altan Clan
Chapter 62 The Possessiveness

Shanum sat on the bed, arms hugging his legs, chin piled to his knees, and tried to clear up the various thoughts and emotions that attacked him. He closed his ties, so as not to be able to re-read the feelings raging inside Khan.

Shanum glanced at Khan. The man was still looking at the ceiling, preoccupied with his own thoughts. Khan did not realize that he had made Shanum suffer next to him. The girl sighed. His chest that was hit by the power of fire still left a slight sense of tightness.

But now there is one more pain that attacks his chest, namely suspicion and jealousy towards the woman named Sarnai. Shanum shook his head, he should not behave like this. Not necessarily, this suspicion will be proven. If it happens, then why? Does that have to make him worse?

He wanted the man, and he couldn't just give up. She's not a cowardly girl, she's brave. Although he would have to act shamefully to fight over Khan with anyone intent on taking the man away from him, he would fight him vigorously.

Maybe she will be labeled as a girl who does not know herself or has no ethics. But he did not want to regret and spent the rest of his life missing the happiness that should have been his.

For him, his life may be very short, without room for regret. Why should he not be possessive of his man?

"Adris..." Shanum whispered in Khan's ear. Trying to lure the man who was still frozen.

Khan flinched consciously from daydreaming or whatever he was thinking. The man turned towards Shanum.

"Yes," he said flatly.

"You haven't answered my question, Adri."

"I can't answer it" Khan said briefly. There was no softness, nor any tingling, only tension and dark shadows emanated within his eyeballs.

"I don't want to talk about Sintai, he-" Khan fell silent, touching his hair with a sigh. "It's the past."

Shanum shifted his body, moved away, took a few steps to the edge of the bed from different sides to Khan's position, and sat there. He held her chest, then rubbed her face.

"You okay, Shasha?" khan asked as he got up from his sleeping position. The man inched closer to Shanum. He seemed to feel the girl's unease.

Shanum did not resist as Khan took his palm and pulled his chin to turn towards him.

"Shasha, look at me." Khan called the girl to look at him, while Shanum kept looking down not wanting to see Khan's face.

Finally Shanum looked up and said, "I'm sorry, Adri." It was as if he felt regret for bringing up about Sintai.

"For what?" khan asked calmly.

"Because in the future I won't budge on any woman. You're my man, my lover, my soul mate. So I'm not gonna let you go without a fight."

Shanum's words sounded very possessive and it made Khan's eyes aghast in shock.

"So you have to get used to it. Unless you say objection to me now, then I'll understand and stay away" he continued firmly. There was a pause, Shanum took his breath.

"Although it will certainly break my heart," Shanum said back in a soft voice.

Khan immediately smothered his mouth. The man shook his head.

"Don't go on, I don't want this to end up being a quarrel" Khan said with clenched teeth. Shanum looks fragile, yet full of determination, looks incredibly beautiful in Khan's eyes. The man took off his hands, and pulled the girl's hand before his face.

"Beautiful hand, as beautiful as the face of the owner," he muttered, turning Shanum's hand and kissing her gently right in the middle of the most sensitive part in the middle of her palm.

The man heard a soft sigh escaping from his girl's lips. He wanted to hold her tight and kiss her softly, and sweetly. Even if it makes the girl angry.

"Can I kiss you?" khan asked directly without further ado. Shanum's eyes blinked, then slowly faded, his face looked nervous, when he could already digest the meaning of Khan's words.

The wrong thing to ask, the guy broke up grimly, because he shouldn't have scared the girl.

"I'm sorry, let's just say I never asked" Khan said, moving up from his seat.

"May," Shanum said slowly.

Khan blinked his eyes in shock. He immediately looked. He looked at Shanum with a look of disbelief.

Shanum nodded his head while blushing in embarrassment.

Khan again sat down beside the girl with an awkward gesture. At first he just stared and Shanum waited with his heart beating fast.

Then, the man pulled Shanum's chin, while gulping his saliva. Not a single word could come out of the mouths of the two. Khan's chest pounded and his blood rippled violently.

He still looked at his girl's face doubtfully, while the lover had closed his eyes while looking up resignedly. Khan exhaled his breath, he smiled gently and shook his head.

Khan pulled Shanum's head gently and kissed her forehead. He closed his eyes and stayed long enough to soak in his warmth.

Then Khan pulled the girl closer and closer, falling into his arms.

"Why did you change your mind, Adri?" shanum asked in a confused voice on the sidelines of the man's embrace.

"I can't do it, Shasha," Khan replied.

Shanum's body instantly stiffened, he stretched his embrace. His face looked riled up, and stared intently at Khan.

"Was it because we were talking about Sintai, you felt like you couldn't kiss me? Because by doing that you're tarnishing the memories of you guys," Shanum assumed by glaring at the man.

Khan felt an unfamiliar tension in his stomach, as well as the sensation that his entire nervous body was wary of danger. And he felt something real regardless of his grasp, unattainable as he tried to catch him. His stomach feels ripped.

"Of course not! I can't do that it's not because of Sintai. I did it for you. Because I appreciate you. I want us to do it when you're my wife."

Shanum was stunned, he had not expected to hear those words from Khan's lips.

"Do you still doubt my love, Shasha?" khan sighed softly while shuffling his hair. A frustrated face appeared on him.

"I felt through our bond..." Shanum swallowed his saliva. "You still feel something about that woman. And it makes me..." Shanum's voice sounded choked, and tormented.

Khan saw the girl's questions, contradictions and doubts. Shanum was disappointed when he did not kiss her lips, and the girl also felt she did not want him anymore. Instantly Khan pulled Shanum to his chest and kissed his hair blindly. Shanum had no idea how tormented he was by restraining his instincts to claim the girl.

Shanum fought back, punching his chest while growling in annoyance. And Khan ignored every blow, only to find a way to calm the girl down.

Khan then pushed Shanum into the bed. He clamped Shanum's hand over his head, using his body weight to bow Shanum and looked at the girl lying panting beneath him.

"Oh, Honey. You don't know how I wanted to kiss you. How painful it is that I try to resist that desire. I admit about Sintai, the pain he incised has not gone away. I'm sorry if it hurt you."

Shanum stopped resisting, he sighed tiredly, and stared with a defeated expression. "All right, now I know your answer. Sorry, I can't afford to have a lover who's still overshadowed by her past story."

Khan's face paled, his heart felt like a somersault in his chest. He still could not believe hearing Shanum say that sentence.

"Please go." Shanum turned his face. He closed his eyes, unwilling to see Khan's face.

**He m**he told him to leave? Absolutely impossible.

Khan looked at Shanum with a cloudy look and it was as painful as a glass shard.

"All right," said Khan and got out of bed. "Yes, you're gonna let me go and tell me to go."

Shanum immediately opened his eyes, he got up to sit down. His face looked displeased, Khan thought, trying to read the girl's face, aware that he had not understood either Shanum or himself.

"Alright," Khan repeated and finally understood the reason. He stood facing the dresser. He could feel unbearable exhaustion all over his body, but at the moment it seemed unimportant.

"I love you, Shasha. I can't force you to do what you don't want. You mean too much to me." Khan watched Shanum's face from the mirror, unable to look at him directly, as if Shanum's words had turned his heart to stone.

"I love you and therefore I will let you go" Khan said bitterly.

"Oh, Adri."

Shanum's eyes began to glaze over.

"Don't cry" said Khan helplessly. It seems like even taking Shanum off is not able to make the girl happy. "Tell me what you want and I'll do, just don't cry."

Along with Khan's words, there came a quivering awareness within Shanum, right under his skin, then seeped deeper and deeper. How amazing, knowing that she was so loved by that man. Until he can take Shanum off.

Shanum now felt confident, that he would still fight for this love. Although there will be many conflicts or parties who try to eliminate the struggle. He actually wanted to test Khan. He wants to know what the answer is. And the man's answer was very precise.

True love is not selfish. Your partner's happiness is everything to you, even if it means tearing your heart apart.

"Stay by my side, Adri. Please," Shanum and Khan said seeing the girl smiling behind her tears.

"I'm not letting you go, Adri." Shanum approached him. Hugged the man's back, and Khan finally turned around while holding Shanum's hand. Khan looked into his eyes.

"You want me to stay with you. Have you changed your mind again?" Khan looked more confused than angry at Shanum's attitude.

"I'm sorry, I tested you. I wonder how you really feel about Sintai," Shanum said, cupping Khan's handsome face, looking into his eyes.

"I told myself I should know how far you feel about me. And I can tolerate it as long as you love me as deeply as you do. I'm sure one day there'll only be me here." Shanum pointed at the man's chest with his index finger.

"Shaa." Khan said his name like an oath while holding Shanum's face with both hands as if he was holding the most valuable object in the universe.

Shanum smiled gently, as he felt the man wipe the tears on his cheeks with his fingers. He found a deep Khan's gaze. The man smiled warmly, and said, "I want you to believe me. Don't ever doubt me. Believe that... My love for you is immeasurable."

"So you don't mind my possessive attitude, Adri," Shanum said with a serious look.

Khan shakes. "That means we're compatible, Shasha. We're both possessive." His face was full of happiness.

Shanum hit the man's chest and chuckled amusedly. "I just found out there are men who can happily get a possessive lover instead of feeling short of breath. Men usually prefer to be free like birds."

"Oh, I'll always be happy, honey. I love being tied up, as long as you're with me. Because you're my everything" Khan whispered, his hoarse voice sounded very sexy.

"Hey you two pigeons are inside. Can I interrupt for a moment? I've been waiting since. There's something important I want to talk to you both about."

They both looked at the sound that suddenly appeared from behind the door. Then Shanum smiled amusedly. "It looks like it's Sergei's voice, Adri. He's looking for us."

"Huh, what's he doing here all night. Just interrupt," Khan grumbled.

"It can't be. There might be something important that he wants to talk about, so it can't be delayed until tomorrow" Shanum said as he pulled the man's hand and stepped towards the door.

Shanum opened the room door and found Sergei smiling amusedly as he looked at them. Next to her stood also Diva with her regretful smile, the girl uttered the word 'sorry' silently to Shanum.

"What's wrong? You have interrupted the beautiful incident that happened between us earlier" Khan said.

Diva immediately smothered her mouth, her face immediately reddened. And Sergei snorted angrily towards Khan. "Damn you! Don't make me have to hit you for tainting Lunaku's mind with your ambiguous words."

Shanum who initially did not understand suddenly understood that Khan's words could cause misunderstandings. "You have to explain it to them in clear sentences, Adri. Don't mean double" Shanum protested as he glared at Khan.

"Those whose minds are dirty. I'm not saying we're fucking up" Khan said without being filtered again.

"Jeez, that mouth of yours, Adri." Shanum immediately pinched the man's arm which was as hard as a rock. His face also looked red.

Sergei rolled his eyeballs. "I already know. A Khan Adrian is still a stiff man with a series of rules that must be obeyed. You take it easy Shanum, he won't probably pollute you before you get married. Because the rules in the clan are also very strict about it. If you're tainted, you won't be queen. You will only be a concubine whose degree will even be underestimated by many people" Sergei said, chuckling in amusement.

"really? I never got any information about it. What else are you still hiding from me, Adri? I'd be very disappointed if I had to hear it back from someone else." Shanum glanced at Khan while narrowing his eyes.

Sergei laughed louder and louder at Shanum's words. The man was very happy to see the wrong and unflappable attitude experienced by Khan at this time.

While Diva immediately elbowed Sergei's waist while glaring. He could not bear to see Khan's increasingly cold and stiff face restraining his anger. There could be bloodshed from the two men on the doorstep of this room.
