The Woman Ruler of the Altan Clan

The Woman Ruler of the Altan Clan
Chapter 50 Return to the Starting Point

That morning Shanum looked agitated. He walked around in his room. One of his hands clasped tightly onto the phone, while his lips muttered the words, "Call..."

The girl rubbed her chest, while taking a deep breath. His heart was pounding, and his stomach felt heartburn from nervousness. But finally the girl pressed also the on button, and brought the phone closer to her ear. He stepped onto the sofa in front of his bed and threw his butt in there.

Until the sound of the call tone ends, there is still no voice heard, the call is not raised. Shanum was upset, then tried to call back. He did it many times. And after twenty missed calls, he began to get frustrated.

The girl bit her lip. He was worried that the cause of Khan was not answering his call. Is that guy still mad at her? Oh, what a fool you are Shanum! You dare to tease that man's ego. But it's the guy's turn to be really angry, you're your own confusion.

Shanum sighed again, then headed to the bed. He's still holding a cell phone. Doubtful whether to send a message to the man or not. But at least he tried. If Khan doesn't respond as well he'll have Sergei help him back.

Actually he was hesitant to become too dependent on Sergei. But what do you want to say, only that man can help her. Shanum sat on the edge of the bed, he started typing something in the messaging app.

A moment he was silent, his finger stopped pressing the row of buttons on the phone screen. He frowned, seemingly thinking about what he wanted to say to the man. He clucked, then his finger moved again agilely on the phone screen.

Shanum reread the message he had typed, and it contained :

*Adri. Don't be angry anymore. I want to talk to you. Please call me if you're free, or leave a message whenever I can call you.

Love

Shanum*

He hoped that the man would return it. So that the situation between them can go well again. And hopefully he can also change Khan's mind not to kill Mr. Reno. He didn't want anything to happen to that man. However, Mr. Reno is his lecturer, and he still has the determination to finish his studies on time.

The sound of the phone ringing made his face look bright. He immediately looked at his phone screen. But then his face returned grim when reading the name on the screen not the name he was waiting for since his call.

"Hello..."

"Shanum, can you come to my house today? To continue the guidance. I haven't been able to go to college, so we're just tutoring at my house."

"Well, Mr. Reno," Shanum replied briefly.

Shanum actually did not want to meet the man. But he can't buy time. If he wants to graduate quickly, then he must also be diligent in guidance.

Mr. Reno then cleared his throat. "Okay, I'm waiting, Shanum. I'll give you my home address."

"Okay, sir," he answered again.

"Thank you, Shanum."

Then the call ended. Shanum exhaled. He's gone awry. On one side was the man he loved, and on the other was his guiding man at his final assignment.

The girl then laid herself on the bed. He looked at the ceiling. Her view glazed. He recalled Khan's sweet words while at the Diva's house. He seemed to be smiling to himself, reminiscing about the expressions of love and longing from the man.

Khan's facial expression was restless, and tormented at first. And finally as Shanum softened and replied with a gentle smile, there was a look of joy from Khan. Make it rustle, even just by remembering it.

Inside his chest, there was a rumbling vibration falling over and over, making him have to take a deep breath every time. Shanum smiled back to himself as he rubbed his chest.

His love turned out sweet. He didn't think the man was really thinking about it. Even though they fought back afterwards. And that made him miserable.

I don't know why all night he couldn't sleep well. Waking up more often, because he felt that there was someone who mentioned his name with poignancy. He did not know whether his anxiety was related to the man or not.

Sometimes they have connections to each other that words cannot express or think with common sense.

After this, what should he do? Relationships with possessiveness are not controlled, not healthy. He did not want to be suspected and was forced to accept every ultimatum of the man, without any compromise.

Must swallow the bitter taste of regret against every word of anger that he received, or even hurled. He understood they came from different cultural backgrounds. But that does not mean that with the difference, they cannot talk about it properly.

Shanum wants his love relationship to be intertwined with trust, respect, and honesty. Occasional jealousy and debate may not matter, as a spice in every romance. But if it happens often, of course, there is something wrong in the relationship.

Then he looked back at his phone. There was no reply to a message from the man. The incoming message is only address information for Mr. Reno. Shanum then got out of bed. He must immediately prepare to face Mr. Reno.

***

Shanum was asked to wait in a guest room, which was dominated by light blue and aquamarin. Pak Reno's house was quite large, though not as big as Khan's mansion. But still big according to him.

The girl looked around her, she sighed in admiration. From the design book he had read, the interior design of this room uses the concept of Vintage. Where to use old-fashioned furniture with models that have been popular in the past as its trademark.

The table in front of him, the chair he was sitting in, and the bookcase in the corner of the room was one of the jengki furniture, which was popular in the 1950s to 1970s. The characteristic feature of this model furniture is the use of wood material with conical legs and not perpendicular.

Near the bookcase there is also a large dark brown antique clock. And on the table in front of him, there was a medium-sized vase of flowers with a unique pattern. Overall, this room was well liked by him.

"I'm sorry it's been a long time, Shanum." A voice greeted him, and he immediately turned towards the door. Mr. Reno walked up to him while carrying a tray filled with drinks and some cakes.

Shanum immediately stood up and intended to take the tray from the man's hand. "Kok Mr Reno brought, not the waiter?" tanyakanya.

"It was the waiter who brought it from the kitchen, but I took it over when I met near the door of this room."

"No need, Shanum. You just sit down let me serve it at the table."

"Pak Reno doesn't have to bother. I feel bad about it" he said slowly.

"No trouble, Shanum. Just water and a little cake."

Mr. Reno placed the tray on the table, then sat down on the chair in front of Shanum.

He smiled gently at Shanum then said, "How are you, Shanum?"

"I should have asked you that, sir. How's things going?" The girl asked with a faint smile.

"I'm fine, Shanum. All thanks to you."

Shanum was glued, then shook his head. "I don't have a hand, sir."

"Call Reno when we're both together" he said, looking deeply at Shanum.

Shanum. "But..."

"I'm forcing!" cut it.

The girl sighed, "Alright!"

"Try saying." said Mr. Reno again.

Shanum swallowed his saliva. "It wasn't me who saved your life, em... Reno's."

Mr. Reno smiled very sweetly. Until a moment to make Shanum stunned. Oh my God, Shanum! You've been misbehaving just because you saw her smile. No, remember, you have Khan Adrian!

"I'll still assume you cured me, Shanum. Even if you don't want to admit it, but I don't care."

"I feel like I said it."

"Sir. uh Reno." The man raised his eyebrows as Shanum again called him Pak.

"Actually I was just looking at you. I'm guilty of causing you harm. And I didn't come alone, my two best friends also came along. They just can't come in. If it wasn't for the kindness of one of the nurses, I might still not have been able to get into the ICCU room where you were treated."

Shanum explained in outline, minus a false confession to the poor nurse who was the victim of the scam the three of them at that time.

"Oh yeah, how do you explain the incident after you came I became conscious and miraculously healed?"

Shanum tried to cover up his nervousness with a wide smile then said, "Maybe you are blessed by the Powerful One. God gave us his miracle. And I'm so grateful, to be able to see you healed."

The man squinted his eyes. His gaze took a sharp peek towards Shanum. He still did not believe his words.

"If I'm the one who healed you, do you have any proof?" ask Shanum again.

The man sighed. "Unfortunately, I have no evidence other than the CCTV footage. You sure it wasn't you who cured me?"

"You still have that CCTV footage? He said it was removed" Shanum said, rolling his eyeballs.

"I keep it for a private collection. Em, it's so good to see you rubbing my hair on that tape. As if you loved me so much." The man looked at Shanum deeply.

Shanum. "And with what am I healing you, Reno? I have no knowledge of medicine. The science of concocting medicine has none." The girl tried to shift the conversation, she was embarrassed to hear the words about her affection.

"Maybe you have a strong inner science, so that you can heal the sick" said the man still with his belief.

Shanum immediately chuckled amusedly. "It seems like you're watching too many movies or reading fantasy books, Reno."

Mr. Reno snorted. "Not my favorite reading and spectacle."

"Oh, I think, I can guess your favorite spectacle and book" Shanum said.

"Try it, I want to know your guess," the man replied with a grin.

"You must love an adrenaline-draining spectacle, like a horror movie or a sadistic action movie. And for sure reading about the exciting and interesting gossip."

The man then exploded laughing. "You're very entertaining. But everything is wrong, baby!"

Shanum looked bearded in shock at the words of affection that came out again from the man's lips.

"Em, Reno, please! Don't say those words. I don't feel good hearing it. You're my lecturer, and I'm just one of your students."

The man stopped laughing in an instant. He raised his eyebrows. 'Why indeed? I love you, and I've told you before, I want you to be my lover."

Shanum's face suddenly clouded. "Sorry sir, I can't."

"Cock back to being Sir!" protest the man.

"And why can't you?" ask again.

Shanum did not answer, he shook his head. Then he remembered his script that was still inside the bag. He grabbed his bag and said, "Em, this is the chapter I've fixed and the next chapter. Please check it out."

Shanum took out a bunch of paper from inside his bag, and placed it on the table facing the man.

"You switched the conversation, Shanum," said the man amusedly.

"But it's okay, I'll check your script first. After that you have to answer my question. Remember, you still owe me. You promised to answer whatever I wanted to ask you on the phone the other day."

The girl paled. Ah, that shameful incident is still chasing him as well. And this man remembers again. What a shit his fate!

"You remember, right, Shanum?" ask her while smiling smirk.

"Eh, i. yes," the girl replied stammeringly.

Then the man put on his glasses, and began to examine the bunch of papers Shanum had put down earlier.

Suddenly a call came from his phone. Shanum opened the bag and took it. His eyes were wide when he saw the name on the screen.

He immediately turned off the call. Then put the phone back in the bag. Not long after the phone went off. Shanum bit his lip, his face looked increasingly nervous.

Mr. Reno looked up and looked at him. "Let's just say Shanum. Who knows how important."

Shanum exhaled, then took back the phone. Shanum's eyes widened, vicall's call was plastered on the screen. And the one who called was still the same person.

Oh, naw... Woe to you, Shanum!

Shanum glanced at Mr. Reno, and the man was still watching him while frowning. "Why not get caught?" tanyanya.

"Sorry, I have to get out of here first. Calling vicall, sir." The girl got up from her seat and approached the door. He leaned behind the door and raised the call.

Shanum looked at the handsome face he had been fretting about since yesterday. The man looks stiff. "Why did you refuse my call, Shasha? Where are you at?"

Shanum. "Em, I'm tutoring at my lecturer's house, Adri. Sorry for pressing the wrong button. I was shocked when you called."

The man's face hardened. "The lecturer you told me about yesterday?"

Shanum nodded. "Who is that, baby?" Suddenly Mr. Reno appeared from behind the door. His eyes probed, full of curiosity.

Jesus, Mr Reno! Make the situation more runyam only. There could be another world war between him and Khan. That wasn't finished yesterday. How else could he convince Khan not to kill the man?

Shanum directly flipped the screen of his phone towards the bottom. "Eh. No sir, only my friend called. And sir, please don't just call with that call keep dong. I heard it uncomfortable, sir," Shanum protested.

"Getting on, I told you to call Reno. I keep calling you that because I love you, Shanum."

Oh, myGod...

Shanum's face grew pale. He suddenly got dizzy. "Why is your face turning pale?" ask Mr. Reno.

"You'd better give this phone to that selfless man, Shasha! I want to have a four-eye talk with him." There was a hoarse and haughty tone of voice belonging to Khan.

Shanum turned his head towards Mr. Reno while grimacing in embarrassment. He immediately moved a bit away from Mr. Reno, and flipped his phone back. Khan was seen gritting his jaw. His eyes glittered golden brown. His face was very stiff withstanding anger.

"Adri, please! Don't be like this. I disconnected the connection first. I'll call again" he said slowly with a face full of pleas.

"Can't, Shasha. You have to choose. If you disconnect this means you chose it. But if you give me a chance to talk to that guy, it means you chose me. Please choose, my dear!"
